I am a seasoned world traveler and Hilton member. This property was very vexing: while it is in a good location, close enough to the wharf and mall for a moderate walk, GPS ceases to work around the hotel and the only entrance is not easily accessible despite the hotel being above a Metro stop. The hotel technically is within walking range of attractions, but in reality it is much more difficult to do so. If using GPS, one must use 490 instead of the 480 on the hotel, or use the address for the Spy Museum in order for GPS to get you to the lobby. I favor mass transit when visiting cities and the location at L’Enfant Plaza was a factor in choosing this site. However, the elevator access from the Metro to the lobby was closed at random times, with no notice beforehand. At night, this was problematic because one cannot easily navigate to the upper level of the lobby due to the GPS problem. My traveling companion has mobility issues which heightened this problem even more. Climbing flights of stairs at night because the only elevator access was closed randomly at 8 pm is a liability. Simple signage by the elevator would eliminate this problem. Finally, there really is no selection of dining in the hotel. One Starbucks and bar/restaurant seems insufficient considering the price of accommodations at this site.

Staff was professional and courteous. Breakfast buffet was good, but a bit pricey. Dinner at L’Enfant restaurant was good. Unfortunately pool was closed due to excessive heat. Wharf district for dinner was easily walkable. Would stay again.

Close to the National mall and museums which were walkable. Metro station within the complex was convenient. Overall room was spacious, hotel is clean. The only option for parking was valet service and was expensive at $65/day.

Well located hotel between National Mall and The Wharf, but you'll still need to do a lot of walking. Only issue with our stay was that it was in the 80s in November, so the hotel had hot air blowing - we got back to our room at the end of the day and it was 78 degrees. Since they had a WiFi outage at the same time, it took a few hours to fix.

The Hilton was very clean and comfortable. It was within walking distance to the major museums in the area (12-15 mins). There’s a Starbucks in the hotel which is convenient if you need caffeine in the morning. The website said the pool is heated but it was very cold when we went in June.

Conveniently located 10 min to The National Mall and The Wharf in either direction. Very walkable location but also several Metro stops or bus routes available. Couldn’t easily locate garage but valet park easy and convenient. Starbucks onsite in hotel. Roof pool a nice break mid day from the heat. Would choose here again!

My only gripe would be the room cleanliness. There were fingernail clippings on the floor and the edges of the floor had a layer of dirt and dust around everything. Was obvious they don’t have a swiffer or mop on the cleaning regimen. Also, the front desk hung up on my 14 year old twice when they called to ask if the pool was open. (It was previously closed due to cloudy weather)

spotless large rooms. excellent beds pillows linens etc. lovely staff. great location for walking to sites and also the warf. dc is weird and funding the best route to walk took a minute but once you figure it out it was fine. pool lovely as well. will definitely stay there again.

Great location. Easy metro transportation to and from airport. I arrived with a bad cold and flu like symptoms. When I was strong enough to take shower I suddenly noticed mold and grime in the grout of the shower walls, and also several questionable brown/black marks on the shower tiles. The room was clean, but apparently they are not checking the cleanliness of their showers. I will stay there again because of the great location, but I’m definitely checking the bathroom when I first check in.

Our stay at this property lasted four days while we visited the DC area. Upon arrival to the hotel we were greeted by the staff at the check-in counter. They were very polite. The cleanliness of our room was up to par with no issues. Our room came with 2 king beds which were very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and clean. Our room did not have a microwave in it. We requested one and had one delivered to our room within 30 minutes. My family really enjoyed having the Star Bucks in the hotel as well as the many other food options in the attached shopping area. The hotel is within walking distance to many of the museums. The Smithsonian Campus, the Air and Space Museum are all within a 15 minute or less walk of the hotel. The Spy Museum is right next door. We did take a Lyft ride to the Holocaust Museum, The People’s House and The White House. All of which were between a 15 and 30 minute walk. If we visit the DC area again we will definitely be staying at this Hilton again.

Rooms are ok. Some lights didn’t work, the room as never cleaned in 4 days even though we had requested it be cleaned every day. We had to request new towels and then when they were delivered the guy shoved them at me and said “here”. Just seemed mediocre at best. When we mentioned the issues again at checkout they seemed dismissive and just going through the motions.

I liked the location and the hotel is nice. My only complaint is our room was incredibly dusty. All the surfaces were covered in dust and our belongings became covered in dust while there. Maybe the filter needs to be changed or something? Otherwise, nice hotel.

I was there with my sister & the room we had (pool view, 2 kings) was spacious and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. I also appreciated the linens. The staff was wonderful and it was very convenient to the metro station.

The room was very clean and comfortable. There were little things that were not good. TV audio would cut in and out on certain channels. The stopper in the bathroom sink was loose and would come off occasionally, the card reader for the room needed a battery replacement. These items were repaired quickly after alerting the front desk on our way out fir the day. Restaurant was good although the menu was a bit limited. Starbucks in the lobby was convenient and run very well. Convenient location with all Metro lines accessible from L'Enfant plaza below. Elevator in lobby took you downstairs. Overall, a nice stay.

Air conditioner in the room was extremely loud and the fan speed could not be adjusted. Difficult communicating with the front desk as they did not understand English language very well. My Granddaughter found a fishing lure in the swimming pool and when we reported it (in person) the front desk help could not understand the word pool. Disappointing for a Hilton anywhere, but especially in our nations capital.

We stayed here as a family of four and enjoyed the property. It was walkable distance to the museums and also to the wharf. The room was spacious and we appreciated having the 2 king beds. The pool area was also very nice. The only negative was the room AC didn’t work well but the issue was resolved. It was the perfect size room and a great location for our stay.

The stay was pleasant other than the mattress being considerably broken down on one side rolling you almost to the floor. Clean and close proximity to National Mall and other area attractions. The HVAC unit was loud and sounded much like a mechanical room.

We stayed here 4 nights total. One of which was unplanned. A big shout out to Audrey for helping us with a last minute reservation after our flight was unexpectedly cancelled. She was kind enough to upgrade us to a room with a great view of the Washington monument, and was able to get us late check out since our flight the next day was in the evening. Excellent customer service and much appreciated. As usual with Hilton, the room was clean and comfortable, with everything you need. They provided complimentary bottled water in the room, which was super welcome on such a hot day! Breakfast at the hotel was good and convenient, since we didn't find many restaurants offering breakfast close by.. There were tons of options to choose from, and both the buffet area and the dining room were spacious and clean. The location was great and within easy walking distance to several museums and the Mall. The wharf being so close by was also convenient with tons of very good dining options. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to DC.

Except the doormen & checking out I never felt welcome at this property. I felt like I was inconveniencing anyone I dared to speak to! At the bar ordering food - one word answers & no greeting or conversation I’m the restaurant for breakfast - no greeting or conversation & had to ask for coffee & for table to be cleared At the front desk asking questions - just rude Calling from the room with a question - the rudest of all, when will the pool open? When it stops raining! It hasn’t rained for 45 minutes? Well then it will open! It’s a beautiful, well kept property with a great location full of “hospitality “ staff that made me feel so unwelcome Even my 11 year old son commented that people in this hotel forgot their manners!

Stayed here during a family vacation. We were disappointed with the service provided by housekeeping and the hotel restaurant/lounge. We stayed four nights and despite requesting our room be refreshed, we received no housekeeping service. We went down to the hotel restaurant for supper one evening and waited 15 min before being acknowledged. The front desk staff were pleasant and responded to requests/texts quickly.

Will stay here again. We were here for a quick trip for a football game at maryland. Was right on the yellow and green metro lines, which made it very convenient. Overall, the hotel was very nice. Very close to the national mall and warf.

We were within 10-15 minutes to most of what we wanted to see. (Smithsonian, Washington Monument, etc.). There is also a bus tour stop just one block up from our Hotel so we spent one day just touring everything with Big B Bus tours. There are cabs right outside to take you anywhere and the metro is right underneath the hotel so you can travel with them as well. There was many food court options in the mall next to the hotel and under the hotel. The place was secure and you could only get to your floor with your hotel key. I would definitely give our stay a 5 star.

This is a great hotel for families or anyone visiting DC. The location is close to the wharf with lots of restaurants. It is close to the national mall - totally walkable. We chose to book a room with breakfast included. It was so great to go downstairs and have a good breakfast buffet and coffee service in the morning. Super helpful, especially since we were with our teenage son. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a pool which was nice since DC was hot during our stay.

The Starbucks workers were not friendly, they didn’t make the drinks well, they didn’t know how to give back change from cash & they closed earlier than the hours said. The hours for dining at the restaurant were too limited, breakfast was only 7-10, that should be expanded until 11 like most breakfast restaurants.

What I liked most about the property was the friendly staff and the location. The metro was available just below the hotel. Also, other dining options were available downstairs. Also, the boardwalk at the Wharf was just a short walk away with a number of restaurants for lunch/dinner. What I liked least about the property were the prices at the hotel restaurant/bar.

Well located within walking distance of many of the important things to see in WADC. However, very limited option for dining in the hotel after a day of sightseeing. The bar/restaurant had limited menu & hours. Although they presented us with options for dining when we checked in, after a full day of sightseeing, we just wanted to dine in the hotel rather than find places outside. Also, very poor signage in the garage so we wandered through the bowels of the hotel to get to the lobby for checkin. The room was comfortable, but the fitness center had no barbells.

Great location. Great staff. Breakfast buffet was amazing. We had it added when booking thru Expedia. Make sure to show “breakfast added” receipt when checking in to get breakfast passes. Only issue was the TV reception which consistently glitched when on.

Getting in to parking was confusing & the machine to cash out when we left broke, fortunately we could us card at the gate. Our room was very clean, organized & comfortable. We were there to see the sights of DC and we were able to walk to everything that we wanted to see whether the monuments or museums in one direction or down to the wharf for good places to Eat. It’s convenient at the hotel has a restaurant and bar on location although I do believe that the breakfast Buffet is a little over priced.
