Great experience overall. This is the second time we stayed at the AC Marriot in downtown. I have two comments... 1) The lighting in the elevators are very dim. A young couple had use their iPhone flash light to see the floor buttons. 2) Parking was fine and service was good. It would be great to have valet service from the hotel, but certainly not a deal breaker. I wouldn't hesitate to book another stay at the AC Marriot in downtown. Thank you!

The stay was okay. The hotel was affected by the global outage and they did not issue door card. They substitute with an elevator man to break you to your room. It was okay. Overall I give a solid four stars.

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE A CAR!!! They do not have parking onsite and their recommended sites in this area are all valet only ($60 to $96 overnight) and almost 100% full all the time. Expedia falsely claimed in their website there’s onsite parking. I drove around for 90 minutes in the area with zero success. I ended up finding a place 25 minutes away and took a uber back to the hotel. This happened on a Friday night. I would not recommend this place if you need parking

Perfect spot to get to the ferry for event in Brooklyn - hotel is beautiful! staff all lovely. Only wish abr was open sat night.. after being out all day wanted to stop for a night cap , had to go to restaurant across street otherwise lovely definitely will return

Spacious room with a good size bathroom. The sheets were a little rough and the shower floor looked like it could use a good scrub. The area was pretty good, near the pier which was a beautiful view from our room, however do note it’s pretty expensive to get ubers from due to the congestion in the area and its about a 10-15 minute walk from the nearest subway station, which was inconvenient for us especially when it rained. Overall a decent stay!

Very clean…nice contemporary style. Comfortable bed…crisp white bed linens. Very quiet. Housekeeping forgot to refill the coffee bar, but the desk was very responsive with replacements. Very pleasant location close to the river.

I had an amazing stay at this property! Our room was upgraded to the river front view and it was stunning. The trains were within a 5-10 minute walking distance so the walk wasn’t too bad. The rooms were a bit small but definitely doable for two people. I would visit again!

I loved the view and how spacious the room was, this was probably the nicest hotel I have stayed at. Only issue I had was that the mini fridge was making a noise throughout the night and in the morning I noticed that there was a lot of condensation on the front of it from the inside. But a very very minor issue. I’m just a really light sleeper. Other than that, truly a perfect hotel and I will definitely be back.

I had a great stay here. Lovely modern hotel with friendly staff. It was my first solo trip and I felt very safe and comfortable as a solo traveller. My room had a lovely view of the water, large ceiling to floor windows and all the facilities I needed.

Rude reception staff and room not ready until 4pm? No thanks. Oh and don’t forget the staff vigorously checking your credit card to ensure it’s yours (great reminder of what to expect in the US as a person of colour). Lastly, you won’t be given your destination fee. No surprise that I won’t be staying here again. My self respect deserves better

Check-in was inconvenient and not easy. Had to call to allow other guest to check-in the second room. Then when I arrived, front desk messed up our check-in and put us in the same room. And tried to blame it on us instead of trying to resolve the issue

We were without water and could not shower before our check out. As a gold member, I had requested late check out but I was not informed there was a broken water main which had affected the hotel. When I went to the front desk and asked, they said it was nearby and they did not know when it would be fixed but that they would deposit 20K points in my account, which, never happened. thank you.

The location was perfect for my birthday weekend in manhattan. Great parking all around and everything was generally in walking distance. Very nice and clean room and hotel. Lobby always had fresh lemon ice water. My hostess was Sooo and she was extremely welcoming and pleasant. Room was exactly like pictured. If I return I will stay here. OVERALL GREAT EXPERIENCE 10 out of 10

This hotel is located in a quiet part of Lower Manhattan. It is within walking distance of many attractions and also has easy Subway access. The hotel staff was very professional and was always helpful whenever I needed anything. The rooms were modern and clean. I would stay at this hotel again in the future.

Super clean hotel. We chose it for location to see concert at Pier 17. Def will stay again. Soo checked us in early and was very friendly and courteous. The only downside for me was the "restaurant". It only serves a buffet brunch that is overpriced and barely staffed.

For $520/night, we should have gotten room service. It’s expected. Boring lobby and breakfast situation is a complete mess. Food sucks and can’t get anybody’s attention.
