It was pretty easy to find, the staff greated us & checked us in easily, our room was very nice & clean as well. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and nice. The only issue in the bathroom was that the shower door kept sliding open as i was showering, so i had to put a washrag where it opens to hold it closed which was annoying. Also not enough towels for 2 people, so i had to request more. The pool is kind of small, and the pool room is very hot so we didnt swim long. No hot tub which was disappointing. The bed was comfortable, but the sheets & blanket felt wet, not sure if they had just been laundered. The phone also did not work. I tried to call the lobby from it and it just had a busy tone which was disappointing since I had a question I needed to ask. So I had to look up the number and call off my phone. Breakfast was alright, pretty much what you'd expect from a hotel breakfast. The place seemed clean, hotel staff was friendly, room was nice, and overall we had a great stay. Definitely recommend. They just need to turn the heat down in the pool room and check the shower doors is all.

This was an excellent hotel that could have been outstanding with just a few touches. There was a nice patio but there were no cushions on the chairs which made them too low for the tables. The tables were not wiped off during our entire stay. Even though there were signs that it was a smoke free property people were smoking on the patio and using the planters (which did not have flowers in them) as ashtrays. The people smoking appeared to be employees.

The staff is very friendly and helpful! The lobby area is nice and updated. The pool room is comfortable, as is the exercise room. Overall, the rooms are worn out — tears, stains, clogged drains, limited hot water, rust. Can’t stay again due to these issues.

The front desk staff was so helpful/welcoming, specifically Sam, both checking in and when a need arose! We were very pleased with the staff hospitality/environment. In terms of cleanliness, the room overall was fine other than it smelling like it had previously been smoked in despite being a labeled smoke-free room. The pool area definitely needed a little TLC (hair in pool, bandaids on pool deck, etc) but the rest of the hotel seemed overall clean. A decent breakfast and stay for the price!

The hotel was clean, the breakfast was very nice, many food options. The only negative was the pool was closed for maintenance. Since I travel regularly - it is important for me to have a working pool, it reduces inflammation in your body.

The location and the staff were great, which is why I stay there each time I visit the area. The cleanliness of the rooms is a concern. The carpet in my room had big stains. The shade over the window was very stained. On more than one occasion the chase lounge in the rooms were so stained, I requested a sheet to put over the lounge before I would put any items on it. They need to improve the cleanliness in the rooms.

We stayed 3 nights & had to change rooms 3 times because the air conditioner either didn’t work or sounded like a locomotive going by. Every room the carpet was filthy and stained! The bathroom floor was dirty and yucky as well. Wouldn’t walk around without shoes, awful! The staff was friendly, breakfast was good. Would not recommend staying here.

There were a few gnats in the room, hair was in the shower, attached to the clean bathroom towels and on the bathroom floor. The chaise in the room had stains on it, which gave the appearance of dirty. I wasn’t satisfied at all, decided to check out early.

Breakfast changed slightly both days we stayed. Bathroom sink n floor still dirty. Looked like they dumped dirty water but didnt rinse the sink basin. Loved the staff.

The hotel is pretty clean because it’s fairly new. I was unable to cool the room below 72 at night. I spoke to the front desk upon checkout the next morning. They said they’d credit some points to my account, which is appreciated, but has NOT yet happened.

The staff was great. The bed was comfortable. The pillow cases were marked firm and soft, but pillows appeared the same. The building is too close to the highway, traffic noise. Old facility, the old smell even comes through the disinfectant. It happens, loud guests in two rooms next to mine, and they smoked out front below my window and apparently wanted everyone to know what their conversation was, so sleep was minimum. I would not stay again.

Location is decent; definitely not great, but ok for what we needed. What I found funny though was upon checking in, I asked for the top floor in a quiet section of the hotel. The girl working told me that she had us on the top third floor, and that there are only three floors. Obviously, I didn’t think anything of it until checking into the room and setting in for the night. I then started to hear loud noises coming from above me. I then figured out that there were four floors in the hotel. It would’ve been nice to know that upon check-in. Not sure why she told us this, but obviously it would’ve been nice to know this before accepting the room. Probably won’t stay here again.

Room was clean. Comfy beds with full size pillows. Nice coffee machine. (updated) Clean bathroom. Housekeeping dud stop by to see if i needed anything. Pool looked clean. Going again in 2 days. One thing that was outstanding was the breakfast. 1st day was potatoes, bacon and scrambled eggs and it only got better. Lots of choices. Front desk staff were very nice. The only thing I had a little trouble with was regulating temperature in the room but maybe it was just my issue. Looking forward to going back.Great location.

Check-in wasn't the smoothest process. When I got to my room, it was still being cleaned. It wasn't done until almost an hour after I checked in. Other than that, the hotel was a comfortable stay checking out was way better.

I inquired via phone to a male frontdesk representative (March 27, ~8pm), he only talked about his stand and never listened what I was trying to explain. And he even hung up the phone while I was trying to communicate. It was very rude of him, and I will never go to this property, and I will share this information to my friends and colleagues. Very discriminating.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. I'm a frequent traveler and this is one of the best hotels we've stayed in of this caliber. Camryn on front desk was a delight, as were other staff in the hotel. The rooms were clean, well equipped, great sheets and mattresses and the offer of forgotten toiletries was appreciated. The breakfast! Wow! Hot pancakes, bacon, eggs etc etc, all included was an unexpected surprise. We will only stay here whenever we are in Detroit. Thank you!

We go to the greater Detroit area every month or two, and this hotel is the only place we stay. The personnel are outstanding: courteous, knowledgeable, pro-active. For example, after we checked in, we discovered the TV in our room wasn’t working properly. We told the young man at the front desk about this, and within 2 minutes a maintenance staff member came to our room and adjusted something on the back of our TV; it worked perfectly after that. He told us if we had any more problems with the TV (we didn’t) they would put us in another room (the front desk person said this also). We feel that people at this hotel really value their guests and take good care of the,.,

Quick stopover on way back from up north to the Henry Ford museum. Good location to the museum, though road construction is tricky. Not walkable to restaurants but driveable to a lot. Quiet, can't hear road noise. Room temp is tricky to get right - cold but a little damp, but most hotels are tricky a little. Morning breakfast is ok; what you'd expect for HIE. Kid loves the pool. Would stay again

Pancake machine was not working properly and had to shut it down in the middle of the business rush. The large fruit bowl had several moldy oranges and the staff did not notice until I had to point it out. Did not know on day 1 that alternative milk options were available, Silk Almond Milk. It was noticed on day 2 in the cooler.

We have stayed at this hotel and really enjoy it for a short 1-2 night stay as a family. However, this last time the breakfast offered by the hotel really let us down. The selection and quality offered is on par but the lady running the area was rude and not helpful at all. There wasn't enough food and she didn't seem to care at all. And when she did top up something that was empty it was like 6 pieces of bacon. The breakfast was supposed to end at 9:30am but they stopped topping it up around 8:45 saying it was almost finished even thoughthere were more then 3 or 4 people looking for food?!? Like I mentioned at the start, we have stayed here a few times and never had any issues before and hope it was just a one off bad experience. We will try the hotel again.
