Elevator was not working on the day we checked in.

Over all pretty good. But the elevator is not working . We had to pull our luggage to the 3rd floor

Overall it’s a nice hotel. It’s clean, comfortable, affordable, and quiet, I just ran into some issues. The elevator broke so we had to take our luggage up and down the stairs which is honestly the cause for my poor score. There was a dog in the room across from us that kept barking the first night.

Main lobby smelled like weed upon entering. No one was at the front desk, there was no bell or anything to ring for assistance. Had to stand for 20 minutes before someone came to the desk. Elevator was broken whole time we were there. The room it self was clean. Shower needs updating/replacing large rust spot breaking through the material of the shower

Their elevator was not working for almost a week and the staff in charge didn’t care to notify on the website or booking site. Or even when we called them to inform about late checkin and mentioning we need connected rooms for elderly parents. This hotel clearly is money minded and don’t care for their guests. Take them For granted.

Upon checking in, I had to go through a broken door because they were doing construction on the building. Once i was able to get by the door, i was then waiting for a receptionist to assist me with checking in. I waited maybe 15 minutes minimum, once i was checking in the clerk then told me that the elevators were out of service and they were placing us on the 3rd floor. I asked them if there was any other floors available and they said no. Even though the hotel was empty and no cars in the parking lot my whole stay. I asked to talk to the manager but was never to be found. The room was dirty, mold, and rust everywhere in the bathroom. Room was never cleaned during my stay. Very unsatisfied with my stay and they never offered to make things better.

Very quiet. Conveniently located. Parking is great. Very safe. Staff gives impeccable service. I have been here on an extended stay as I am waiting on my home to be ready for move in. My only complaint will be that the elevator has been out of service for an entire week which makes it a bit difficult as we are on a higher floor. There should be a discount for inconvenience.

my stay was started on 08/03/25 and lasted until 08/11/25 but not by choice but because of circumstance. Upon arrival I got to the facility 30 mins early and was informed the room wasn’t ready. I left and came back at 5pm and was told my room was still not ready; which was a lie after the guy at the desk finally admitted the elevator was broken and they were waiting on maintenance. After another 30 mins I went back in and was told the elevator was still not working and due to exhaustion i decided to just take the only other option which was the stairs mind you my room was on the third floor. The elevator was out of service from 08/03 - 08/04 and finally began working later on that night (08/04). Upon entry of the room I found BLACK MOLD on the curtains. Because I didn’t see it anywhere else at first I thought it was only there. Later on during my stay I took sick and I couldn’t figure out why. As I was fixing the bed on 08/05 found BLACK MOLD on the bed. When I reported it to the staff voicing my displeasure of this I was cut off , he stated “I don’t need all that” and asked if I simply wanted a new room. Once moved into the new room I was called and blamed for spilling juice everywhere and told it wasn’t BLACK MOLD after showing the staff proof. The staff AVOIDS customers and no one is ever at the front desk. They are very rude and nothing works properly. This facility needs a serious upgrade!!! The price they’re charging doesn’t meet the requirements of the facility.

Everything about thing place was great

I would never stay at this property again check in the room I did my walk around and look up in the ceiling I seen growing mold in the bathroom ceiling I immediately took pictures and requested for another room on another floor bed as definitely uncomfortable.

My family and I spent one night in this hotel in March 2025, in our room 303 one of the beds had a yellow spot on the sheet and several hairs, after to make a complaint the room 309 was given to me in this case both beds were dirty and with several hairs as well. Bottom line: The hotel is not changing the quilts and sheets, the floor in the hotel was super dirty. The person in the reception wanted to give me a third room and I rejected because I was not able to be checking every single room in this hotel, the FIRST room should be COMPLETLY CLEAN, I paid for a full service. This situation is Unsanitary, please consider booking this place. I dedicated my time to proceed with this review and save you a bad time and dirty environments. Thanks.

The hotel was okay. The towels seemed dirty. I was scared to use any of the face towels. The hallway has a very unpleasant smell. All and all the hotel was okay for the price

Hotel is average with old building next to convenient store-gas station but cleaning is ok for lobby, staffs are nice and professional, good location for my trip need to be closed to Belair - Vietnamese town area less than 5 mins drive. The issue was one of rooms for my group checked in with smells and a lot of roaches on the wall, I asked to change the room and they moved us to another quickly. Breakfast is ok with milk, eggs, waffles, yogurts, cereals...Over all my group enjoyed and have no problems to stay here.

The hotel was just average overall. When we checked in, the toilet was clogged, and the bed linens looked dirty. Honestly, the overall impression was not very good.

Toilet ran constantly, something was wrong with the air conditioner that either froze you out of the room so you wouldn’t hear the whining, or you dealt with the whining of the unit and got hot…. Sketch area of Houston that caused some alarm for personal safety. And someone decided they needed to pressure wash vehicles in the parking area starting about 9pm and going until around 2am. The hotel motto is “better rest here” and we had absolutely none. Will not be returning…

First night it took 4 rooms to get an acceptable one. Horrible noise in hall from lighting or something. Nasty stains on cloth siding of beds and musty smell. Was asked by manager if I could wait till next day- NO. Walls are so thin I could hear conversations in adjacent rooms. Slamming doors woke me up at 2-3 am. Then to top it off I could hear the guy snoring in the next room- right by the head of my bed. Breakfast was horrid with fake eggs. On Monday morning- no hot breakfast. I picked this place based on reviews. The reviews do not correlate with my experience. One has to wonder who wrote these reviews?

Bed was very comfortable. The room itself could use a paint job. The walls were very scratched and scuffed up. The shower pressure was also pretty low. The area was also decent.

The room wasn’t soundproofed. I stayed 3 nights: first night a baby was crying until 2-3am, second night it seemed like there was a small party next door where they spoke so loud after 10pm. Third night was better but I think they should have spread the guests so it’s not one next to the other. The shower was weak too. I took twice as long to shower compared to usual. Other than that, the hotel was ok and convenient.

Clean room, nice front desk attendant, ok breakfast.

No room noise insulation. You can hear people from the next room talking and also the walking noise from the level above you. Poor choice of breakfast with only pancakes and cereal. The AC was loud. It was on and off during the night.

Late checked in, asked the front desk if i could do late check out at 12noon he said its ok. The morning comes, 11am front desk calling. Made him aware i checked in late and i am checkinf out at 12noon. As per rude front desk " it dont matter if u check in late but check out is 11" i made him aware that i informed the front desk last night and he is ok. So idk why in the world they dont communicate for the the guest who is doing a late check out. After that 20 mins later housekeeping trying to open the door and im glad i had my bolt on. They were knocking like its passed 12 noon. So i wont use this again. Rude, inconsiderate and rushing and its not even 12 noon as we talked about.

as i stated it was the management of the hotel i arrive around 11 am he said he'd see if a room was available however he kept contemplating on my email i kept telling him my email without my name in it its my email i showed him the confirmation number i yold him who i was once again then he says not to yell i said i tho you couldn't hear me he said i have no room right now without checking then he ten minutes later mentioned ge had a room but itll be 25 for it i said im ok with waiting my son sat into the lobby with me he ask my son can i help you my son said i don't need help he said because youre staring at ne they had word he rild my son he went to vietnam a manager really saying that to paying customers because you didn't mention 25at first but mad because i choose to wait smh

Person working front desk checkin had my name wrong. I asked him to change it. He lied and said he would. Checked out the next day, the name was still the same. Asked different guy at front desk to change it, he wouldn’t. Have the guy my receipt for my deposit while removing my things and taking them to my car. On the way back to the room, the guy is ahead of me going in the room to check it in order to give me my security deposit back. The problem was my person items like my purse which was wide open, were still in the room. When I walked in behind him and asked what he was doing, he couldn’t answer me. I proceed to tell him he needs to leave the room and let me finish getting my things. I had to make him leave the room! This was odd, uncomfortable and strange. I told him he was opening himself and the hotel up liability issues because what if money is missing from my purse? I am going to think you snuck in the room knowing I was out to go through my things before I left. Either way, he should have left the room the moment he say personal items still in it as people deserve the right to privacy.

Staff was very helpful, courteous, prompt & respectful. Will stay at this hotel for my next trip to Houston.

Everything was fine and I wasn’t worried until my room number was compromised or given to someone I did not give it to! The guy claimed to be maintenance and don’t get me wrong he was really nice but I never wanted anyone to have my room number considering I’m not from there and I was alone! The outside had homeless and dogs running around which is fine for me but to some that may not be okay! It’s your job as a hotel and front desk to keep your guests safe and giving out room numbers is unacceptable. I never gave my room number but on my last day I got a call to my room from front desk that was from the guy I met in the hallway which made me feel very unsafe and uncomfortable!

Excellent stay. Front desk Sai, provided excellent customer service and support during our stay.

Staff was friendly but they seemed understaffed, especially for breakfast. There was only one person stocking the breakfast and it would run out pretty quickly. Other than that it was a nice clean and calm experience. For the price it was worth it.

I enjoyed staying here for a short day. Everything was great and close to where I wanted to be.

Easy Parking not too far to any freeway.

Very good location for ethnic foods and shopping. Lots of stores near by the hotel. For the price it’s a good hotel.

I think the main issue is the area. Other than that largely no issues.

Very clean and nice hotel...my only issue is the construction in the area...its hard to leave something detracting when it's not their fault. Butit should be noted just getting out of the hotel etc can be very taxing/time consuming due to the roads being redone.

I was there from out of town for an early morning surgery in Houston. Thankfully my grown son was with me because there was a man and three obviously drugged women in the lobby asking if we needed their “services” one of the women handed me half eaten candy and it was very uncomfortable the desk manager was not at the counter I had to go beat on his door and he wouldn’t let me cancel my room since I paid in full through Expedia. I baracaded myself in my room, horrible experience.

I like that the hotels smells very fresh. No inconvenience smells if you know what I mean. It’s a nice location. It’s close to Westheimer close to the beltway close to West park.

Breakfast options were limited for my diet. Only one fruit (orange) and lots of carbs. I was able to eat eggs & toast.

Breakfast was great. Good options of hot and cold foods and was served til 11am.

The hotel was conveiently located. We did not have any issues with our room. Everything worked and was decently cleaned. Breakfast: the hours were not the same for our entire stay and we almost missed breakfast because of that. Also, breakfast included eggs and sausages, which was more than expected. WiFi: the check in person forgot to include the password and tefused to give it to me when i called the front desk using the in room house phone. I had to go down in person to get that. Mildly inconvenient when we didn't notice until late and were relaxing in bed and trying to order delivery. Suggestion: post the breakfast hours on a sign in the breakfast area.

Like: Easier to find; easy parking. Dislike: very noisy even during 2 AM in the morning due to traffic in the area. People still talked loud and slammed their doors at 2 AM. Breakfast items are limited to waffle, oakmeal, and muffins; no egg/sausage etc.

Overall, my stay was fine, but I think the breakfast could be improved. When I visit Houston, I specifically look for hotels that offer a full complimentary breakfast. The options here felt limited juice, muffins, cereal (which I don’t eat, and I’m not sure if milk was even available), and a waffle machine. There were no eggs, sausage, bacon, or other hot items that make breakfast feel like breakfast. Instead, I ended up purchasing breakfast from Waffle House, storing it in the fridge, and reheating it in the morning since the room had a microwave. The only reason I came downstairs was to grab some apple juice.
