Great hotel with all the comfort updates available. Nice clean lobby that we were proud to invite guest to. Staff was great with cleaning and promptness. Breakfast was fresh and warm. The area for morning dinning was spacious and very clean.

My family and I went for a stay-cation as it was so hot. We were so happy with our choice. The pool area was just perfect. Grills for grilling hotdogs and a meal for the bunch. Highly recommend!

Beautiful property. Great location. Only negative was the pool needed some general cleaning and was not heated as stated by the front desk. We chose this hotel specifically for the pool and were sadly disappointed

I absolutely love this hotel the staff is very helpful and nice, the hotel itself is very clean and staff is very nice. Just be aware that the room service is NOT daily and it's only every couple days and the breakfast is limited and they don't have much. BUT other than that it's an awesome place free laundry comfy beds and awesome staff.

Great location and amenities

Hotel was clean felt safe and staff was polite. Front desk clerk did her best to light up fire pit but coildnt get it started. Her effort was enough for it not to be a big deal. Shes not in maintenance!

This was a beautiful room. We even had a kitchenette which would have been great for a longer stay. The staff was friendly, helpful and they even cooked us BBQ hamburgers for dinner. The breakfast was the best I have had at any hotel. The egg white omelette was very tasty and they had an amazing oatmeal bar with great toppings. The best thing was being close but not in downtown NO. It was quiet, clean and plenty of free parking.

The suite w/2 beds was very spacious and super clean. The beds are super comfortable. The staff were very friendly and super helpful. The grounds are very well maintained and cozy. The amenities were very plentiful. The pool isn't very big but it was very clean. The breakfast was really good and lots of options.

The stay began with the excellent service of the Front Desk Supervisor Mr. Stanley who made us feel right at home. His professionalism and courtesy went above and beyond his duties. The facilities were impeccable. Everything was clean and comforting. This location also seemed to have Everything from a laundromat and gym to a pool, basketball court and family outdoor area that allowed grilling and outdoor setting to just relax and enjoy. I highly recommend this location. 5 Stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The shower was a little dirty, but over all great place to stay. Tons of things to do, food shopping. Staff was very nice, we will be staying here in the future.

I was very pleased with my stay. The property is really nice, clean, quiet and the staff is very nice. I'll definitely make sure to come back to this property. They have made me a forever customer.

I paid for 2 queens and a sofa room, we received a king bed with sofa. We get to the room and I’m hit with the smell. Room smelled like a wet dog. So I called the front desk from the room and noticed the desk had not been wiped down. Looked like someone shaved and there was hair and stains just gross. So I returned to the front desk and the lady says they’re sold out and basically there’s nothing available. So we head back to the room. I notice the counters and floors were also dirty. I always spray the bedding with microban or Lysol spray….fast forward to bedtime, tried to fall asleep but the odor from the bedding was so strong, like body odor and once again- wet dog. I already had them come clean the room so I didn’t want to put in another “request” besides it was almost midnight and only staying one night. Morning couldn’t come soon enough.

Everything was good but a note for housekeeping, when cleaning the bathroom sink, clean the drain hole. I saw it in mirror reflection and you can see all the black crud in it.

The room I booked wasn’t available. The room they provided had a stinch of wet(mold/mildew)…. Internet was down my entire stay…I had to pay for internet at another venue to work. The front desk person had an attitude when answering questions regarding my issues.

Super clean all around the hotel. Quiet rooms. Real friendly staff. Especially Elizabeth at check in. Real helpful and nice

Everything was great about the hotel except the lighting. Not that much light, very dark room

Rooms need updating. Floors were unleveled. Bathroom door had a huge crack in it that was visible from the bedroom and the door did not lock on the bathroom door. Air conditioner was very loud and the refrigerator had a loud noise.

I had a problem with the wi-fi when I first checked in. Asked to get it either fixed or move me to a different part of the hotel...Stanley at the front desk was great but didn't get much support. He finally had to move me after a couple hours.

Property was very clean & nice the rooms are like a studio apt i had a fridge & freezer along with sink & 2 glass burner stove, desk & work area, couch nice king size bed & nice bathroom i was very very pleased. Our check-in time was 3pm but we arrived from our flight at 6am yet they had rooms for us.

The staff was great.Made it in early and asked if we can do an early check in. The answer was yes.

Upon check in we ran into some issues but they were able to accommodate us in another way. The hotel was clean, and the front desk staff Stanley was such a breath of fresh air. He was always smiling and giving us recommendations on different eating places and sites to go see. He made our stay so worth it!

Facilities were nice and clean. Most of the staff were great. The breakfast staff attending to the area on Friday the 17th was rude. She muttered under her breathe while cleaning the tables and cleaning the breakfast area. There was a small spill made by the waffle area and she shook her head in disgust and muttered under her breathe about these people and how she was trying to keep it clean. Other than that the front desk staff was great!

Our stay at the Marriott Residence Inn in Elmwood was unfortunately very disappointing from the very beginning. The greeting was extremely unwelcoming. We arrived late at night with little children who were exhausted, restless, and falling asleep, and yet we had to wait for someone to even show up at the reception desk. When the front desk employee finally appeared, her attitude made it seem as though she was doing us a favor by checking us in. There was no smile, no greeting, and no basic courtesy. Additionally, the hotel lists its address as New Orleans, but it is actually located in Elmwood. This is misleading and should be corrected. When we got to our room, we discovered that it had one king bed instead of the two queen beds that I had specifically booked. I went back to the reception to ask why we were given the wrong room. Instead of addressing my concern, the employee ignored me and checked in several other guests who were in line, and only after that returned to me. She then informed me that no rooms with two queen beds were available and that when booking through Hotels.com I am only guaranteed a room at the hotel, but not the type of room I reserved. This policy feels extremely unfair and misleading. Because it was late at night and we had no other place to go, we had no choice but to stay in the incorrect room. The sofa bed was uncomfortable, and in the end all four of us had to sleep together in one bed. No hair conditioner, plastic plates at breakfast…

One of the best welcomes we’ve ever had at the front desk by Stanley and we are frequent travelers. He was so warm and friendly. Definitely a fantastic employee.

My family and I loved the location, as it wasn't directly in the city but was close enough to get to. Many dining options close by and it was a quite hotel. When ever we come back to New Orleans we will be staying here.Thank you for the great service.

I loved this hotel. Great for the price and location. It’s near the movies, activities, shopping centers, and food places. I loved loved loved that it included a kitchen and living area. 10 out of 10

Staff is amazing and extremely friendly. Everyone is very friendly and always smiling and greeting the guest. Love the location and all the amenities they offer. Definitely will stay again when we travel.

A good option to stay in the area for a quick business stay, with friendly staff, and a good location.
