No parking Don't feel comfortable if you can't park your car yourself and they force you to use the valet where you put a lot of tips with every move in addition to what they take from you for parking when you reserve with them

Parking is limited. Unexpected that my vehicle had to be parked in the public lot because tis hotel did not have parking or valet available.

Valet parking did NOT discount $20 like your website said. Pool was too hit. Hot tub jets not working. Front desk does not provide much info for tourists.

I traveled with a large group, we were comfortable in each room, which were spacious. Awesome location with easy walk to Bal Arbor mall and beach, also many option for restaurants. Parking was easy if you are using Vale is worth it! I have a 4 star for facility since the pool was not available due to repairs, I feel that we should have been notified! Staff was friendly and professional. I would definitely stay here again

Our experience was terrible. We didn't even stay the night. We booked 2 nights at this hotel and were diappointed with the cleanliness of our room, the poolside area was a complete mess, the pool was tiny and the hot tub out of order. We tried to transfer to a different hotel but they wouldn't refund us. Still trying to get a refund a month and a half later, but travelocity said they can't help unless the hotel approves the refund, and the hotel said they won't talk to us because we booked through travelocity.

The hotel itself was nice however there was a lot of construction going on around the hotel. There was a lot of construction noise during the day when it would’ve been nice to just relax by the pool. The description of the hotel on Expedia states that it has a bar/restaurant under amenities However upon checking into the hotel we learned that this was not true. The room was spacious with two full bathrooms and the balcony was spacious as well. The staff at the hotel were all very pleasant and accommodating.

Could not check in when we arrived at 1:00. I understand that. The valet said we could leave our car. But, we didn't know where any restaurants were so we drove. When we checked in at 4:00, I told the Receptionist that we had a vehicle. She said I would have to deal with the valet. The new valet said there were no spots available and we would have to park elsewhere. No suggestions or help. He just walked away and said, "it's not my problem!" We ended up parking across the street in an alley for free, rather than the $40 per night the hotel charges. There were chairs in our room that had been used outside and were wet and filthy. Housekeeping had brought them inside to stay out of the possible winds from the hurricane so we had to walk around them and couldn't sit on them. There were stains on the couch. Floor was dirty. The bed creaked. We were there fleeing Hurricane Milton so we were safe and had a place to sleep. We were charged the resort fee even though the pool was drained and the hot tub was dirty. I would not recommend this place as somewhere to go on vacation.

The hotel was quite pricy and we couldn’t cancel the booking due to technical difficulties when we made a phone call to the third party who was to help. The rooms were nice and spacious, but the couch soiled and some old floss was laying around on the floor amongst some other stuff. We were given another room that was a little better but that couch was not super clean. The breakfast did not include bacon, sausage or boiled egg - only one type of ham and one type of cheese. It was all gone when we came down the first morning and no room to sit inside, so we had to sit outside with little flies that bit us. It was beautifully situated by the water though and had a small pool and jacuzzi, although we couldn’t go down to the deck by the water. It was closed off due to a previous fire. The gym did not have a treadmill. The hotel was too expensive for what it offered. No parking - only valet. But a nice iguana came and visited

Please fix jacuzzi and extend pool area hours

Room floor was dirty. Hotel didnt have a restaruant or provided options for food or drink. No entertainment at all.

My family and i stayed one night at your hotel and we were mainly out most of the daytime since the pool was also closed. Our room 212, reservations under David pershin was filthy. When we got into our room, my kids took off their shoes and i had to completely wipe my kids feet after because their feet were black. This was right after we got into our room. I then also noticed the bed frames were so dusty and looked like they haven’t been touched in weeks from all the dust buildup. I did mention all of this to the front desk the next morning but all they told me was i am sorry and the cleaning crew is new. I understand you have a-lot of guest coming in and out of the hotel everyday day, but floors and dust is really basic. When you go to any hotel this should not be ever a concern. I did not feel clean at all at your hotel.

Very clean with a huge room. Bed was comfy and staff was very attentive. Continental breakfast was excellent.

Great location. The hotel staff was friendly and the common areas are nice. The room was a 2/5 just for the fact that it was very dusty and I have allergies. The shower floor also didn't look very clean. The room is big and the bed very comfortable. Lots of closet space and great view. Not for the shower and dust .......

Bathrooms not clean properly especially showers . Had two rooms in both rooms sofas stained and dirty that we had to put sheets to be able to even sit on it . We couldn’t use the pool because other guests were bathing in the pool fully clothed which was very gross in my opinion especially many of them were coming straight from walking outside the hotel to pool area and going straight to the pool not changing to proper pool clothing , hotel stuff seemed to not care at all . Very unpleasant . This hotel was rlly nice place to stay years ago but now everytime I go there it’s worse and worse .

The room was in rough shape and just not clean enough for the price of this place. I don’t think it’s a cleaning staff issue, it’s just the flooring, furniture, walls, and parts of the bathroom have seen a lot of wear and tear. Also it feels like there’s almost no staff working there

We had a good time at the hotel and Rosario was really nice , she took care of us and helped us moving to another room because the first room we had was dirty and there were stains on the couch. The breakfast was delicious, specially having the cook making delicious omelettes . Just one suggestion, please try to inspect the rooms before having checking someone in , like I said before our first room the couch was dirty with big stains and there was hair on the bed, the second room was nice and clean the only thing was that they didn’t check the mini fridge and we ended up finding a soda fast food cup .

Property was very clean and room was spacious. The location was safe for walking although a little quieter than we anticipated for a beach vacation spot.

The room was amazing and very spacious with the bedrooms and four baths. The staff was very nice and extremely helpful. The breakfast was not very good but the views and room made up for it.

Beds were too soft. My wife and didnt sleep well and our back and legs were in pain. I complained to the front desk manager. He was aware of this issue with other guests complaining as well.

The rooms are getting old , maintenance is not keeping up

We stayed for 3 nights. The first 2 nights were perfect. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and attentive. Hoeever at 4 AM on the second morning, the A/C started banging every 5 seconds while the compressor was on. In the morning I asked the front desk to fix that and was told someone would come to look at it. No one came and it happened again on the third night. The other issue that we had was that when we returned to the hotel late on the third night, there was a dog in the adjoining room that was barking. I called down to move rooms but was told that there were none. I didnt believe that, but finally, the dog stopped barking. While we liked the hotel a lot and would consider it next time, I would definitely make sure everything is working properly and ask if there are any animals in an adjoining room.

The property was excellent but a kot of constraction arround And in the room a problem of AC THE Ac was doing a lot of noise!!

Front desk staff - Marco and Maria - were first rate! Loved my waterview one bedroom suite. The king bed was divine, I melted into the pillows, and everything was spotless. Hassam in valet was super sweet and helpful. The gym was impeccable. I didn’t have time to use the pool or hottub, but they looked clean, quiet and relaxing. The lobby is so welcoming and flooded with natural light. This is a great getaway for anyone who doesn’t have to be on the beach, but wants a walkable, safe area and quiet environment. I loved it.

This older hotel had been refurbished nicely with lots of glitz. Our room was well done and comfortable. But the manufactured wood floor had gaps, some large, between the planks, and could have been cleaner. We had a nice balcony with its own private garden (though not well maintained) - a first for us. The breakfast buffet was good, but not outstanding. No obvious hand sanitizer. Excellent omelet, though. All the staff we encountered had English as their second or third language. But they were very competent and eager to please. Our only problem was the steep ramp from street to lobby. Our “trailer” was not handling that well. However, the valets Hassan and Carlos were extremely helpful, and made sure we were happy with the accommodation. There was a $40.00 parking charge.

I try very hard not to write negative reviews about hotels, in 30 years of extensive travel this is only my 3rd time. I try to deal with the staff and then the management to try to have issued resolved but this hotels had poor communication, especially from any supervisors on management! We stayed in a beautiful room but had a great deal of trouble getting into it. Took them for ever to prepare the room and made us wait until 5 mins before 4pm before they would check us in even though we spoke to a "supervisor" who assured us they would arrange an earlier check in so we could meet friends in Fort Lauderdale. We missed that meeting! We struggled with the cleanliness of the pool and spa, had a hard time getting towels for the pool and worst of all at 11pm when we wanted to crawl into bed we noticed the sheets were filthy! Dirt on the sheets and lots of dust/debris where your feet go and someone else's hair all over the bedding! We of course immediately called the front desk and no answer, we called for 10 minutes straight with no answer, finally I go dressed and went to the lobby and of course nobody around. After walking around looking for someone with no luck I gave up and went back to our room where we had to sleep fully clothed on the top of bed. Poor, customer service and issues with front desk staff from the moment we arrived. I called the manager and left 3 messages with No response. Even called the Grand Beach head office and send 2 emails also with NO response

There is no one after 9 PM at this hotel management is completely absent. Very inconvenient, dirty, I will never stay there again

There was not valet at night, neither in the morning, so you hace to park a block away, the man in the reception in the morning was very rude, and also we had the bad luck that the people next door were very loud, music and talking very loud so we called reception twice, so i wouldnt stay there again.

Overall our stay was Excellent. The Hotel was clean, our room was excellent, house keeping was great, and the valets Roberto and Hassan were phenomenal so nice and accommodating!!! The balcony and view was fantastic from our room. When we checked in Daniel went over and beyond to accommodate us since we were about an hour early to check in. We would definitely recommend and come back! A few things to note: the house keeping team does not speak English. The breakfast is just ok, very limited options and the cook was just there, no real customer service skills but the food area was clean and nice. Pool is small but clean. I would recommend you request an corner or end of hall room on 5th or 6th floor water view they have the best balconies and view. Hotel gym is nice, wish it had water and smaller hand towels. There is no room service or food except for breakfast but there are great restaurants in walking distance. Gave 5 stars overall.

The customer service was amazing, Carlos was always helpful and made lots of great dining recommendations. The hotel rooms were super clean and spacious. Overall we had a great experience and we would say here again.

The Grand Beach Hotel Bay Harbor provided an exceptionally nice room and the reception and service was impeccable. Marco, at the front desk, was very professional and accommodating and made the check-in process effortless and the stay enjoyable.

i don’t like that the front desk does not explain all fees upon check in …. then you get your final bill and it is totally different .. unfair

The staff was 11 out of 10. Valet, reception, the Ops Manager Daniel, were all extremely pleasant and helpful. The low-key luxury feel of the facility is very attractive. Omelettes-to-order are a great touch. (Additional veggie options would be great, spinach, mushrooms, for example). We WILL be back.

We’re with the family in December 2023. The hotel is in great location with 7min walk from the beach. Mall 3min away. Restaurants. Safe and rich neighbourhood. Will definitely come back!

The hotel is in a perfect location. It’s quiet, clean, great staff and not too close to the busy downtown Miami area but a close Uber ride away if you want to go. Great pool and 2 block walk to the beach

This hotel is a little gem and the location is perfect for what we wanted to do. We love to walk around the area and if we wanted to go to the beach we drove. Rosario at the front desk is always so helpful and friendly.

Grand Beach Hotel Bay Harbor was beautiful. Wish they would tell you before hand that the valet parking is $42 a night. The pool closes at 8pm… The breakfast is okay, but missing most of the menu and was mediocre. Some staff members were nicer and helpful than others. Called front desk to tell them we were celebrating a birthday, the lady rudely says that it is a small hotel and they do not accomodate for any type of event. Next day, called again and a nice gentleman from front desk want attentive and said “ofcourse we can do an accomodation for you. They took down the celebrated persons name and when i arrive to Check-In they gave us a bottle of wine and a lovely note from the hotel wishing a happy birthday.

The place is incredible, with an excellent location and great facilities. However, the breakfast left something to be desired, being quite simple and with few options. For those looking for more variety, it may not completely meet expectations.

The room and overall hotel was beautiful. The only downside was the continental breakfast. The hot food was not always hot or warm. Had to reheat the waffles and french toast in the toaster each day.

There is no much to see in the area except for the beach. The view to the canal is nice but to the city is not. There is no restaurant. You have to walk like 4 blocks at least for some good ones. Valet patking said usd32 a dsy in expedia dite and they charged usd40. Breakfast was poor. The staff is great.
