The Moon Boutique Hotel & Spa

Overall, The Moon is an excellent hotel experience with fantastic staff. The only part that wasn't great was my check-in, and that's because the guy working the front desk watched me struggle with four bags, having to walk each one up the steps (solo traveler) on a very hot day (I had just walked from the train station and was clearly sweaty and exhausted), and made no effort to help or even to stand up from behind the desk and greet me. He wasn't on the phone, and wasn't helping anyone else (there was no one else in the lobby at this time). He barely even smiled. I thought it was strange. Everyone else I encountered was amazing - the guy who manages the spa - SO nice and helpful. Special shout-out to JoJo, the night desk clerk, who, when I checked out at 4 am, was SO helpful with my bags, offering me a water, helping me carry the bags down the steps to the taxi, and just so friendly and warm. Check-in should have been the same, if not even better. The room is beautiful and SUPER clean. Definitely book a room with spa access. The spa is amazing, with different types of water therapy and relaxation that you can just use on your own for a window of 1.5 hours. You do have to book your slot in advance though, as they limit the number of people using it at the same time. I used it both days I was there. After long days walking all over the city, it was so restorative.

Nice modern boutique hotel. Pleasant staff. Awesome breakfast. Wonderful spa experience. Definitely worthy of a return visit. Thank you.

Great place to stay. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Wife and I both enjoyed the spa time and breakfast. Staff was courteous and professional.

Over the Moon!! What a beautiful boutique hotel. The little details. The whole place is glorious. We used the Spa too, would’ve used it again but had lots to do outside in town.
