The bed was really great. I slept great. Room was small and bathroom too small, I couldn’t even fit through the door.p in a wheelchair. Definitely not wheelchair friendly, had to brush teeth outside and use towelettes to clean face, but beds were great. Could not get a late check out so had to be out by 10, could not use to change after the race.

Beautiful view of the marshes and beach houses that sit Oceanside a mile away. I enjoyed a morning walk to the beach…Mile Road is just around the corner. My kids had a great time in the pool. While we were there we walked to Condons for donuts and the food trucks, and Mike’s for dinner. We stayed in the Queen suite which had a private bedroom, a Murphy bed in the living room for 2, and a pull out couch bed for 2. There was also a full size refrigerator and kitchenette. Perfect accommodations for sleeping and touch-and-go as we enjoyed the town of Wells. The only negatives: bring your own pool towels and a box fan. We bought a fan for the bedroom because the AC unit is in the living room. It keeps the place cool but if you want to close your bedroom door, you’ll want a fan. Overall, we had a good time; I’d stay at the Garrison again.

room was okay but there was a lot of noise from adjoining rooms so you can hear through walls easily and a carpenter was allowed to work early Monday morning which was unpleasant. staff was not very accomodating or friendly. the parking was very tight for vehicles which made it feel constrained

Stayed here before and had an ok room but this one is better. Nice place near the beach, about 20 restaurants, a hannafords, a great little movie theater, convenience stores AND Congdon Donuts is across the street. Nice little outdoor pool.

There were small blood stains on my sheets. There was some sort of bug in the shower. This was on the right side of the property where there are smaller rooms. Very outdated. Some of our family stayed in the two story building (for $10 more) and it was very nice and no complaints.

We were upgraded from a motel room to an efficiency unit. That was a nice surprise. The unit was clean but basic. No frillls. TheTV remote didn’t work but was fixed the next day. The Wi-Fi was very unreliable.

I was a bit surprised that this is essentially a 1970’s era motel. Very basic rooms. No housekeeping but you can get daily towel exchange. Must wash your own dishes when leaving or you will be fined (no dishwasher - I washed my dishes and utensils before using them just in case previous guests didn’t). Not close to the beach, there is a swamp between the beach and the motel. Bed and pillows were not very comfortable, just ordinary.

The apt (suite) was really cute for the money. It was so close to oquinqut but not in the full traffic. Quiet room and stay. Only feel it needed a serious update from 1980s decore. But it was VERY clean. And the ocean view was not of a beach or ocean. But of the marshes the property over looks. I would stay here afain

The property was extremely dated. Our room had carpet that was completely stretched out in areas. The walls were paper thin and we could hear every time our neighbor used the bathroom. At least we were only there one night.

Wonderful check in/ check out. Bed was super comfortable & the room was huge although they could be updated a bit. Super convenient as I made my way up the coast of Maine. Directly across the street you’ll find a food truck court with many selections & picnic tables for lunch and dinner. For breakfast… you can’t beat the donuts and the beach is super close for a full day of fun.

Friendly staff, very clean property. Property is updated on the outside (beautiful pool chairs and umbrellas, general look of the buildings) but the room we had (luxury suite) had outdated decoration and furniture. However, the suite had plenty of amenities and it was very clean. The bedroom mattress and the Murphy bed in the living room were both very comfortable. We truly enjoyed having a complete kitchen (including a dishwasher and full size fridge) and a separate bedroom. The view from the property is amazing (marshes and ocean at a distance). This motel is close to everything you’d want to see in or around Wells, Kennebunk and Ogunquit. We will certainly go back to this hotel.

My husband and I went for a quick overnight getaway, we immediately regretted only being there for a night. We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. So clean, kitchen has dishes and utensils already there and a dishwasher. The view when you step outside is gorgeous!! We will definitely be staying again and even said we want to do a week for vacation possibly next year and this is where we’ll stay! There’s restaurants galore and the famous Congdon’s Donuts & Scoop Deck right across the street and a grocery store around the corner and it’s a 5 minute drive to the beach. Picture is the view when you step out, I didn’t take any pics of the room, just video which I can’t do on here but TRUST me!
