Stayed over after we saw a show at the Casino. Free shuttle service to the casino and a specific bar. Service avail 5:00p-12:00am. The driver even texts those she dropped off reminding them of the approaching end time of shuttle service. Breakfast avail in the lobby. Beds very comfortable and linens had a pleasant feel.

The outside was outdated but the inside was clean and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised that the hotel offered a shuttle to the casino and the driver Teena was very nice, helpful and prompt!

Great stay overall. Nothing fancy, but a nice, clean, and updated room. Good for a night to be close to the casino. I cannot speak highly enough about the service and the girl at the front desk named Teena! She was super friendly, helpful and informative. She let us get checked in an hour and a half early and she was also our shuttle driver to and from the casino! Would stay here again for sure when in the area.

Old but renovated. But doors in my room are super dirty. The heater/AC was covered with thick dust and black dots (mildew or mold?) that cold air blowing was fine but hot air smell really bad a strong sour smell I had to open up the door but it would continue blowing the strong odor I shut it off even though the night was quit cool in the low 60s or upper 50s and rained after dark last night all night People are nice especially those who have to roll up their sleeve to cover for the front desk. The worst part is: Wyndham had sent me a link for pre arrival check in. In addition to my name, address and email, it also asked me for my credit card number and photo of my ID , which after the trip, I confirmed with Wyndham on the phone they don’t ask for credit card information at pre arrival check in. Note: the hotel I stayed at doesn’t know and told me to call Days Inn Wyndham itself. Immediately after providing my credit card number and photo, I received an email from my credit card company reporting Days Inn Wyndham had charged me $1. So, their website was hijacked. The experience was swiped terrible. We ended up not staying with them when me and my partner went up to our room. The bedsheets were full of hair and full of stains and dirt everywhere and stains everywhere. The cleanliness was horrible. The smell was intense. I do not recommend staying here.

Area outside of room doors was malodorous - unsure of source. Rooms had not been thoroughly cleaned and stocked. Bedding was dirty. Bathroom (toilet, shower curtain) was dirty. Shower did not drain (after 5 minutes in the shower, there was 3 inches of standing water). Shampoo and body wash not refilled. Location was convenient for our needs, but would not recommend or stay there again.

This was the most unclean motel room I've ever stayed in, and I stay in hotels many times a month. There were blood stains on the mattress, urine stains on the white comforter, dirt on sheets, and the furniture in the room had rips in the cushions as well as stains. The bathroom was dirty and had mold in the corner between the tile. It was noisy outside with people hanging around smoking on the hallway balcony and in the parking lot. I took pictures of the bloody mattress and will be submitting it to the corporate office. This is not the way to run a property.

The hotel was filthy, room had not been cleaned. The room smelled awful, and the front desk gave our room to someone else even though we had checked into it. We were scheduled for 3 nights, we packed up the car and left immediately. Do not recommend!!!

Tub would not drain upon arrival first night, was extremely dirty. Crickets crawling all over the floor. Matress pad had stains, did not replace towels and wash clothes 2nd day, beer bottles on window outside my room every evening, lots of traffic in and out of parking lot all night long and they werent guests.Very unfriendly while checking in and out. Very dirty, the shampoo and body soap in shower were both empty. Never had any service to change out trash cans or towels. Found bed bugs. The carpet was worn and didn’t look like it had been cleaned in years. Terrible place to stay!!

Clock radio did not work, so we asked for a replacement and the radio still did not work, clock was fine on the second one. Breakfast could offer more of a variety, as it was the exact same for the 5 days we were there. No bananas, eggs & sausage had no flavor. This hotel appears to be used primarily for construction workers and the guest above us had "lead" feet.

Rooms are out dated. Ours had a musty odor. Water pressure for shower was almost nonexistent. Took a long time for water to get hot. We were on ground floor and while the door would lock it did not seem secure. Outside light could be seen around the door and even when deadbolt was locked door could be moved back and forth.

It is not quiet (traffic). AC unit works very loudly also. We were there for 4 days, nobody came to make the bed, or empty the trash. The front desk was very helpful, however, when we wanted to change rooms on the first day.

If you’re looking for non-smoking room, this is not the property to find it. People stand outside the rooms and smoke which comes in through the air conditioning unit. And you don’t get clean towels and more coffee and cups or trash removed unless you go to office daily and turn in a request form. Property is older but room was clean and the staff was friendly when I checked in and out.

Property is old. It sounded like the ceiling in the room was going to crash down on us from people walking around. If you wanted room cleaning you had to take a request from to the main office at the other end of the property. You get what you pay for.

It looked like housekeeping went in room and sprayed Lysol, maybe checked beds and put 2 towels in room. The room had not been cleaned at all dirt all over floor and tub drained super slow! There were huge dust cobwebs all over the ceiling. The air conditioning leaked and floor had a puddle in front of the air conditioning. It was quiet until they rented the room above us. Anytime the people above us walked it sounded like they were coming through the ceiling to the point some paint fell off of the ceiling. Someone had their tv turned on full blast and kept us up most of the night. There wasn’t much options on the free breakfast so we walked to McDonald’s. At least it was only 2 parking lots over. Definitely was not happy with the experience at all.

We showed up and went to check in and the lady at the front desk was very unprofessional and just told us “no we don’t have any rooms ready - maybe by 3:30ish” - the pictures were nothing like was the space looked like in person. We ended up leaving and booking another room at a different hotel now losing out on money for this room.

Stay was fine, as was the room. One negative … at check out, lady at the desk would not give me a receipt. She told me I had to request a receipt from Wyndham! I asked again and again she refused! I have traveled extensively, both in US and abroad, and have never been denied a printed receipt when checking out. This needs to be addressed.

The property is what it is a motel. It’s not a bad place to stay yet. It’s just not anything fancy. It’s very inconvenient to try to walk to the casino because there’s very little availability for foot traffic no major crosswalks no sidewalks. I blame the casino that brings in a lot of money, but does not put money back into the community.

Days Inn by Wyndham Charles Town/Harpers Ferry is a nice hotel within a few miles of Hollywood Casino in Charles Town. It's a no-frills motel style hotel, which was clean and reasonably priced. Also, the breakfast buffet offered good hot food. They sausage, eggs, biscuits with gravy was surprisingly very good. The self-service waffles were excellent too. There was also hot oatmeal and breakfast/granola/cereal bars for a healthy option. I will definitely stay at this location again in the future.

The place was great..super friendly personal..but the breakfast could have been alittle better..the sponges they called eggs were nasty and the sausage, not sure what it was but it could have been better ..maybe try using hard boiled eggs instead of what you are using... Tried 3 rooms before finding one tolerable because of smell. Front desk person was very accommodating but it should not have been such a hassle. Noisy with frequent smell of marijuana coming into room from outside users. Eggs and sausage were cool to Luke warm. Won’t be back.

So the good part was the bed, at least, was clean and comfortable. The bad part was the room had an odor to it that reminded me of cat urine. The shower had a few long dark hairs (mine are short and gray) but the worst part was the (white) shower curtain which was a yellowish brown on the bottom foot or so with some pieces of black something stuck on it. The breakfast offering of sausage patty and biscuit ended up being thrown in the garbage; I'm not fussy but this wasn't good. There was cereal, juice and fruit though so I was able to fuel up for the day. The manager was having a bit of computer problem when I checked out and didn't ask how things were so I didn't get a chance to tell him his room needed a little love.
