The good points were that was inexpensive and the room was fine. Breakfast was OK. The bad points start with the lift being broken. It happens but no apology. Fourth floor room with a narrow spiral staircase. I am fit for my age but am still 71 and getting the case to the room and down afterwards was not easy. As I said the room was fine but the walls must be very thin as you could here everything from adjacent rooms. The towels were very stiff.

The hotel was perfectly fine for our needs. We mainly needed an affordable place to sleep at night, since our plan was to spend most of our time exploring Paris. The location was very good, only about a five-minute walk from the nearest metro station, which made getting around the city easy. The room was simple but completely sufficient, as we mostly only slept there. Breakfast was also simple and didn’t offer a huge selection, but the food was fresh, tasty, and better than expected. This was the cheapest hotel I could find close to the city center, and for the price I think it offered good value. I paid around 1,500 NOK for the stay. Even though I discovered upon arrival that it was only a one-star hotel, the overall experience was better than expected. A pleasant and cozy budget option in expensive Paris.

This little place is absolutely no frills but is clean and friendly and I felt safe there. If you’re looking for a bed and shower, this is it. No extras, but the price is great for the location. You’ll not feel pampered, but it meets basic needs. I would stay there again.
