Location was ideal to access to public transportation (subway and taxi) and Kyoto Station. Hotel was also close by to restaurants and stores. Room was spacious (family of 3), but no closet included or door hooks in bathroom. Amenities were efficient and excellent (laundry, water/ice station, and public bath). Staff and employees were accommodating and friendly. Bathroom amenities could've been better (size of shampoo, conditioner, and body soap). Breakfast choices could've been more diverse and flavorful. 객실도 깨끗하고 교통편도 좋아서 지하철역이나 버스정류도 가까이에 위치해 있습니다. 무엇보다 호텔주변이 번잡하지 않아서 좋았고, 1층에 대욕장도 피로를 풀기에 안성맞춤이었습니다. 가와라마치 중심지나 기요미즈테라도 접근하기 용이했고, 교토역도 버스로 가까운 거리가 이동하기 수월했습니다. 게다가 직원들이 친절하고 마지막날 택시까지 잡아주어 너무 감사했습니다. 다음에 교토에 갈 기회가 있으면 또 묵고 싶은 곳입니다. 가성비도 뛰어나니 강추합니다. ^^

Everything was perfect, it had all the amenities you could think of. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location was just walking distance from the metro station and the sights around the hotel were beautiful as well. A convenience store next door, was also great to have. The room has smart tv and was more spacious than other hotels in Japan. I would 100% recommend and will be returning on future trips to Japan!

The Hotel itself was very clean and the staff were very helpful. The onsen was amazing although they need more laundry facilities. There are only 4 machine for the whole hotel which typically go for 2 hours per cycle because they are combined washer/dryers and the dryer usually takes multiple cycles. The location is ok, but be prepared to walk at least 15-20min to get to main Kyoto area, which doesn't seem like much until you spend all day exploring temples and climbing the numerous stairs throughout the Kyoto area. The nearest train station is approx. 10 min away with a lot of stairs so be aware for luggage

Everything was great…except the laundry facilities. There were only two machines. The make matters worse, they are the combo units that wash and dry, and it takes numerous additional cycles (3) to dry your clothes. If you don’t plan on doing your laundry, this is a great hub for Kyoto.

Keio Prelia Hotel in Kyoto was an excellent stay with convenient access to an accompanying restaurant. The room was fairly clean and was attended to daily with fresh towels. The laundry unit in the hotel was also very easy to use and accessible. Overall happy with our stay.

Stayed for three nights while sightseeing Kyoto. The property was clean and the staff were kind and responsive. They helped us keep our luggage before check-in time, and also helped us retrieve our keys when we accidentally locked ourselves out of our room. There are washing machines in the building on multiple different floors, and loved that we could check the availability of each washer through the TV inside our room. We felt comfortable every day of our stay and would definitely go back!

お部屋も思っていたより広く感じ、インテリアも良かったです。気になったのが、ユニットバスの中に独特な臭いがして、消臭スプレーをしても消えませんでした。お風呂はホテルの大浴場を使用しましたが、やはりお手洗い、洗面台は使用しますので、その度不快でした。見た目には何も問題がないのでお部屋の変更も、チェックインからある程度時間が経っていたので言い辛く2日間過ごしました。あと、冷蔵庫ではなく保冷庫だったのでビックリしました。小さくてもやはり冷蔵庫が欲しいと思いました。それ以外は、スタッフの方も皆さん対応よく綺麗なホテルでした。

일단 청소상태가 좋지 않음 체크인 했을때 바닥에 휴지와 테이블에 파스에 붙어있던 비닐이 있었습니다 이 호텔에서 3박을 했는데 중간에 청소해줄때도 체크인 전에 있던 바닥 휴지는 계속 그대로 있었으며 슬리퍼도 정리되지않고 오히려 한쪽에 던져놓은듯하게 쌓여있었습니다 대욕탕은 규모가 작았고 직원분들은 친절하셨습니다 교토역에서는 거리가 있어 캐리어를 가져올 경우 걸어오기는 힘들고 지하철을 이용해야할듯합니다

Very convenient for day trips and restaurants. We visited several excellent bakeries for breakfast/brunch. The room was the best layout and had the most comfortable bed of any hotel on our several-city trip, but the temperature was not as we'd have preferred because the thermostat is centrally controlled and the window could not be opened.

Our stay at the Keio Prelia Hotel Kyoto was great. It is conveniently located a 5 minute walk from Gojo station (along the Karasuma Lina) and only one station away from Kyoto station or a 20 minute walk from Kyoto station. A family mart is located 1 min away as well as several other food options within a 15 min walk. The staff were super nice and were able to accommodate our luggage before and after check-in. The facilities were clean and amenities were well kept. The room was bright, quiet, spacious, and very clean. The had an awesome shower as well!! Would definitely stay again when visiting Kyoto.

The room was clean, lobby did not have a lounge. They ask you to come down and get extra toiletries. The breakfast was pretty good but did not change the menu at all. The same exact menu everyday. Also, the bed was soft , I prefer a harder mattress . The area was great to get around and the hotel is not in the busiest location but real easy access to everything

Nice clean property. They have a females only Onsen you can try out if you are comfortable. The rooms were clean and they give you small amenities. I didn't like that the wifi did not work properly and that if you were standing outside someones door you could hear their conversation. But I would still stay here next time.

i stayed for 3 nites and the room is nice and spacious. However, i asked for late checkout (just one hour late) but the hotel cannot provide free late checkout (i.e. need to pay 2200yen). this is not a good experience on this matter

Hotel was clean and accessible, we could walk to Nishiki market in 10-15 minutes. It was also close to Kyoto station and there was a bus you could take near the hotel that reached many popular destinations. As we had a lot of luggage, we asked for the hotel’s help to book a taxi. On a rainy day, the hotel manager very kindly put on his rain coat and went out to flag down a taxi for us. Other than that, we also noticed he was helping out during check in time with wiping the luggages that got wet due to the rain and replenishing the lobby umbrellas. We were very thankful for his help.

Friendly staff, clean, and the breakfast was well worth the added cost. The front staff spoke english, they were helpful in calling taxis and had printed out instructions on how to get to tourist destination via bus or train. The room was spacious and we were given cute pajamas and sandals. We took advantage of the washer/dryer that took both coins and tap card payment. The breakfast buffet was part of the restaurant attached to hotel. In the morning there was always a line up, but moved very quick, had great choices, and very friendly staff!

This is a good hotel, but probably not a great hotel. It was the only hotel we stayed at in Japan that did not offer complimentary water and coffee in our room. The front desk informed us that was because we booked a cheaper rate, but that was never an issue anywhere else we stayed. I would expect these services to be available for all rates, but this hotel was the exception, and I think other travellers should be aware of this. Otherwise the rooms are clean and well appointed although the hotel does not offer much in the way of personal care products like moisturizers and face cleaners, so that's also a bit of a disappointment. The front desk staff did their best, but they appeared a bit shy and standoffish compared with other hotels we stayed at in larger cities. Overall we were a bit disappointed in this hotel and we understand that hotels in Japan make no guarantees about the services or standards like they might in Europe or North America

Keio Prelia Hotel in Kyoto was fantastic. The quadruple room had lots of space and two bathrooms. The breakfast buffet was delicious and well with the added fees. The front staff were very professional and welcoming. The hotel is only 5 minutes to the train and tons of food options.

Stayed at Keio for 3 nights. It was wonderful because of the friendly staff, clean room and spa. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family. Only downside is that it is a tad far from the downtown area of Kyoto but makes up for in quietness.

Rooms are clean and come with essentials like razors and toothbrushes and extra chargers. Vouchers for free breakfast buffet are given for every day of stay, and the food is good! One stop from Kyoto station so very convenient. Also walkable to nishiki market and major shopping. Staff was helpful with forwarding luggage to Tokyo. Would stay again

There is nothing negative to say about this hotel. Everything was perfect. The location was great with close proximity to Gojo train station. The breakfast was very good but make sure you arrive early enough so you have time to sit down and have a relaxed meal as you have to leave by 10 am on the dot. A special shout out to Ryuichiro who welcomed us for breakfast with a big genuine smile. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay a very pleasant one.
