Love the hotel and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Couple suggestions- option of regular coffee maker would be nice in room. Was not clear how to control room lighting easily. Difficult to get in and out of tall bathtub without a step or handle. Enjoyed the lobby and rooftop bars!

My husband and I did a staycation for our 1 year wedding anniversary and chose to stay at the Conrad. Upon arrival check in was quick and easy. The receptionist was friendly and informed us of all the available dining options and local attractions. We dined at the restaurant in the hotel and then visited the rooftop bar. The views from the hotel are amazing. When we entered our room there was a bottle champagne on ice for us for our anniversary. The hotel room was nice, clean and well stocked. We were enjoying ourselves so much we ended not even leaving the hotel to explore the city.

Professional top notch service!! Security and front door is fully aware of the realities of the world as it relates to SAFETY! A key card is required to access room floors. Staff greets you every time you enter and exit. Staff makes it a priority to make you feel comfortable, secure, and welcome. Excellent!!! Only hotel we book for DC!!!

Haven’t been to DC prior. Stayed on property for five nights. Hotel room was large and very comfortable. Staff top notch. Restaurant on site was great. Front door guys very helpful and I was surprised how easy it was to get a cab or Uber. Even with rain there were no issues. Luxury shopping just behind the hotel. Great restaurants close by. All the memorials and important sites very close by. My only issue was the last day of cleaning. Floor mats for the bathroom were not replaced. Hand towels were not provided. Dirty spoons and cups were placed at the in room coffee spot. Liquor and drinks not replenished. Not sure where things broke down. Otherwise an amazing and pleasant stay. I still give the Conrad a 5/5 stars and would recommend.

While it's a nice property, there were several items in our room that were disappointing, including: - Stain/bleached carpet - Drapes that didn't close all the way - Closet door that didn't close, which resulted in the closet light staying on - a big buildup of dust along the baseboard, which made it look like the carpet hasn't been vacuumed in a while - 2 numbers on the safe that didn't work Some of these were reported, none were fixed. Not what I'd expect from a 5-star property. The restaurant was amazing, one of the best meals I've had.

Wasn’t really great this time around. I felt like I got an “Expedia room.” I got a suite but it was dirty. The bathroom floor was dirty with grime, the toilet was dirty upon arrival, they didn’t have the room ready until about 2 hrs after check in time, the valet was horrible with my car, the floor in the room was dirty, the sofa had food under the cushions, the window had a huge bird poop stain on it, the whole areas behind the nightstand of the bed had dust..it was just not great. I hated it…. The whole experience messed up my birthday and plans.

The hotel was beautiful. Loved that it is LEED Gold certified. It was in a great location with amazing shopping nearby. The restaurant on the 3rd floor was great. The entire staff was AMAZING. Only thing that we weren't happy with was the cleanliness of the room. Upon arrival we noticed hair from previous guests on the sofa, the toilet seat wasn't clean and there was hair on the shower wall too. The slippers in the closet looked worn so we couldn't use them. The towels didn't smell that great either. Overall our stay was good..

Overall, the stay was alright but it did not function like a five star hotel due to too many inconsistencies. The housekeeping department all cleaned differently as well as the turn down service. On many occasions, things were missed/not done/ not replenished. It was not a huge deal but again, the expectation is for everything to be smooth which it wasn’t. Additionally, many times the room service food was just warm or barely warm- again, inconsistent. The gym was hot, we went two days in the row and both times gave feedback that it was too warm and no one came to check it out. Overall, most of the staff were lovely and pleasant but on a few occasions,we did have interaction with a few that felt like a bother or they didn’t even bother to look up that you were standing there. For the location, it was good and safe. Walkable distance to majority of the attractions.

Synopsis: Great staff, beautiful building. Room was disappointing. Details: Reserved a room as a birthday gift to myself. Based on the rate, I expected higher quality than I’ve experienced at other hotels. Unfortunately, as soon as I entered my room, my expectations were shattered. I immediately noticed the worn, stained carpet. Moving over to the couch, I saw that it was splattered with white spots of unknown origin. I also saw that the wooden chair was visibly worn. The bathroom was beautifully appointed and contained fresh towels and supplies. However, the water in the shower never rose above lukewarm in the two times I used it (early evening and early morning). Lastly, the lighting system didn’t seem to work properly. The light buttons were labeled, but some didn’t actually work to control the areas referenced on their label. I ended up using a flashlight to avoid waking my family up due to the lack of light control. Positives: The staff were WONDERFUL, and the common areas of the building were immaculate. The lobby and elevator areas even had a wonderful, fresh scent.

I very much disliked our stay. Upon arrival, we were told that since we booked through Expedia, that I would not receive my Hilton status (Gold - lost Diamond last month) points or benefits, i.e. free breakfast, executive lounge, upgrades, etc. Our room was terrible, hot mini fridge, shower/tub wouldn't drain, equivalent to an average Hampton hotel room. I would never stay here again.

The room was much smaller than expected, since much of the square footage was in the large unusable entryway. Although it was a "corner" room, the curtains covered two of the five windows even when they were open blocking much of the view with a large TV blocking another window. There was nowhere to sit but the bed or a hard desk chair.

Nice property even for families. My only comment is that we ordered room service for breakfast and asked for it to be delivered between 8:30-9 and it arrived at 8am so it was cold by the time my kids woke up after 9am. The fridge in the room also wasn’t working so we couldn’t store any water which on a hot day is critical when you get back to the room after a hot day in the city.

I enjoyed the vibe and decor. The only downside was I couldn’t get the shower water hot enough. It ran sort of warm at best and could hear conversations in the neighboring room clearly. The room was spotless and loved the layout and furniture. The bathroom was progressively modern which was awesome

The in-room phone did not work at all, very dangerous. The turn-down service was a joke, the woman who showed up yesterday evening only gave water, refused to arrange the bed and the curtains while the woman who showed up the night before did a normal job. The light system is ridiculous.

I had a wonderful one night stay. Upon check in my husband mentioned it was my birthday. When we returned from our evening I came into balloon bouquet in my room. It was such a lovely surprise. Beds & pillows were comfortable. Ordered some coffee and pastries for breakfast and they arrived so quickly. Never spent much time in lobby just passed through so I am sure we missed some things. We were just passing through. Overall great stay!

I recently stayed at the Conrad Washington, DC, and unfortunately, my experience was far from the luxury one would expect from a 5-star hotel. The staff's behavior was shockingly rude, leaving a lasting negative impression on my visit. The manager, in particular, was obnoxious and unhelpful. Instead of addressing concerns or providing assistance, their attitude only exacerbated the situation. It was disappointing to encounter such a lack of professionalism and customer service in a supposedly upscale establishment. Adding to the frustration was the check-in process. The hotel claims that check-in is at 4, which is already a late check-in time for many hotels. However, this turned out to be even more inconvenient as I was not checked in until 6. Customer service is horrendous. The extremely disrespectful woman who consistently refuses to connect me to the front desk because she exasperatedly says "I'm an extension of the front desk" or just lies and says she is the front desk when she isn't (of course always with a combative and condescending attitude), and the male front desk manager are the most egregious--they will treat and speak to you horribly and look at you with a "couldn't care less" attitude when you inevitably beg them to be treated with the respect that you deserve as a paying guest--the front desk manager just stared condescendingly and blinked at me as I told him I deserved better after being downgraded unwillingly for what I presume was a higher priority guest such as a celebrity or politician, and seemed incredulous that I dare stand up for myself when I'm spending the same amount yet being treated like garbage, being shuffled from room to room with absolutely zero respect for myself or my time. I had been an extremely loyal guest, spending an exorbitant amount of money each month, and they ended that abruptly with their behaviour. I will never return and it is clear that they couldn't care less.

Kaijah was a friendly and helpful concierge staff member, assisting with check in and a variety of sundry requests. She was easy to connect with, efficient, friendly, and made my partner and I feel comfortable and at ease. Frankly, she was part of the experience that would make me want to return to the Conrad Hotel.

Unfortunately our room wasn't ready at check-in until 5:30 pm. This resulted in a late arrival at a dinner party at a local friends home. From that moment on however our stay was pitch perfect. When we return to D.C., we wouldn't consider any other hotel. Lynn and Diane Hedeman

The Conrad was a wonderful stay. The room was comfortable, bright and the service was impeccable! The daily service was personalized; I received a lens cleaner when my glasses were left on the counter and a thoughtful gift for my new baby when the staff found out!

I loved our stay here. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond from the very start of our arrival. Thoughtful extras like offers of bottled water after a hot day of walking were very welcome. Perfect position for exploring the main attractions of DC. Delicious food in the restaurant and wonderful views from the roof top bar. Only improvement would to be to offer a non alcoholic beer at the rooftop beer as one is offered downstairs in the main bar. Apart from tgat 10 out of 10 😊

The Conrad Washington DC is very family friendly! They had a playpen, diaper pail,rubber ducky, bottle warmer etc for our Son! Thank You so much! And the Food and Drink from the Club was soooooo good! Worth every Penny! We will be Back!
