Staff was always super nice from check in to check out and in between. Room was clean. The breakfast was really good with omelets, sausages, potatoes, waffles and other sides. My kids loved the pool and the breakfast. Also loved that it’s pet friendly as we were able to bring our dog with us.

This is the second year we have come the Vines in the Pines event. It is a regional wine and art exhibit at the convention center hosting wineries from southern NM. It’s a popular event and the hotels fill up for it. We were hesitant and thus did not make early reservations. Few hotels had vacancy once we decided and I chose Hampton as an Hhonors member. All as I would expect except the hot tub is out of order.

I’m on the bottom floor, the ceiling is obviously not well constructed. People walking around is easily heard along with the common thumping of lower rated hotels. Parking spaces are for mini coopers, etc..The staff is wonderful and professional, the room smells great and is very clean. The only flaws on this place is because ownership has failed to provide the adequate funding for a Hilton Hotel. I’m 53 and remember when Hilton hotel brand was hard to beat. Anyways, just my thoughts. Thanks

The stay was pleasant, the staff was extremely friendly at all times even though my English was not perfect. The only thing I think could be improved would be to clean the room every day. There was one day that we met a cleaning lady and we asked if they could clean our room but on the night we arrived we had realized that they had not done so. Also regarding the room, the floor of the tub was very dirty. It is also important to mention that we chose the hotel because of the indoor pool but the water was extremely cold. Apart from that, the service was always excellent and the breakfast was very varied and delicious.

Our stay was horrible the walls are very thin you can hear the people in the room next to ours. Kids running and people could slamming their doors. It would vibrate the whole room. The bathroom was dirty. We were on the second floor so we could hear the people above us walking around.

The restroom was very dirty, and as well the main entrance floor to the room. When they would “clean” they would only make the bed. Our counters were still dirty with stickiness, floors had dirt and debris and you can tell. The shower and tub had a stain on it. Good hotel but horrible room service and unclean.

Where do I begin. Filthy carpet, old hotel def needs updating, just dirty and dingy! Worst of all in our shower we had filthy black foot prints that was not cleaned! We laid a towel down over it and the towel started floating due to drain not working! Ugh it was disgusting! Worse than motel 6. Def do not stay here especially for the price of 250 per night! 😡😡😡

We stayed in room 224, king suite. The bed is ok. You can feel the springs just a bit which made for sore spots on my sides. But, I have experienced much worse. The room layout is a bit odd. No storage drawers for personal items, except for the closet. Television system is with Direct TV, and all the HBO and Cinemax channels available. Internet connectivity is really good. Water pressure is super great. Taking showers with lots of very hot water is an absolute gem. Breakfast is available. The usual canned stuff: scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, etc. We tried it once. It didn't suit us at all. Overall, a good, albeit a bit worn, hotel with all the good hotel expectations.

When we checked in we noticed the cleanliness of the property and the staffs willingness to help you. In less than 2 minutes I had my room key card and was heading to my room. It was very agreeable since we had been driving for over 8 hours.

Nicely updated amenities. Mike at th e front desk is great, always greeting you with welcome. It was refreshing to chat with Chelsea as she was tending to the breakfast bar. Great Hampton in Ruidoso!

Ill make this short and sweet: Cons: -Grumpy Front desk staff ( at night) -At the time of our visit, the spa was out of service which was one of the reasons we had booked this place -The bed is a bit thin, almost like sleeping on a sofa mattress. Pros: -CLEAN,CLEAN,CLEAN!! -Excellent breakfast options ( fresh ) -Friendly house keepers ( in the breakfast area -Close to everything ( Walmart, inn of the mountain Gods, in the same parking lot as a 24 hr Denny's) -Modern feel

Felt a little uneasy when I pulled up and there were guys in the parking lot with lawn chairs set up drinking beer lol I was pleasantly surprised when I walked inside. Upon arrival I was nervous that it may be a little sketchy, but it was not at all. Clean, friendly and welcoming staff, and good prices. Beautiful view as well of the mountains.

Every time I travel to Ruidoso I stay here. I love this hotel. It’s right on highway 70, easy access. Rooms are great, spacious and always sparkling clean. Breakfast is always good.

It was very comfortable. But We got sick with COVID that night. Im Blaming the hotel. The pool was COLD!! even when they said it was warm it wasn’t! Hot tub was comfy but to get out to other people to get in. Breakfast egg was kind of gross but waffles and other stuff is ok
