One Central Hotel & Suites

Nice place to spend a couple nights..small pool on 19th floor is good.. clean room with good shower.. 2 lifts that can be quite slow during check in/out period but suppose you expect that..very friendly fast check in/out good reception staff

About the only thing I don’t like about 1Central is for a nice hotel you have to use cash. If you go to the pool and want a drink cash, if you order a burger cash. You can’t just sign or even use a CC

The buffet breakfast was great but some of the staff seem unsure when ask about the food and lack customer service. The garage was unsafe, the incline was too high.

Overall the hotel was nice, but I found a roach in my room and the pool water seemed a bit murky for being such a small pool, there was also a weird smell in the pool bathroom. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was good.

Only 2 elevators and one was down for over one day. Stay somewhere else.

A great option for a stay in central Cebu City at a reasonable price. Rooms modern and comfy. Restaurant great for the excellent included breakfast and indeed dinner. And their cocktails rock for very reasonable cost! The top floor pool is very small, but handy to cool off and chill.

Lage ist sehr zentral, Preis/Leistung ist super, nur schade, das man am Pool oder an der Bar immer gleich cash bezahlen muß, es ist nicht möglich, etwas auf das Zimmer schreiben zu lassen.

道を挟んで向かいにスタジアムがあり、応援の鼓笛がうるさいことがあります。それ以外は満足。最上階のプールもいいですね。

For the price everything is better than expected. One Central has superior breakfast buffet, IMHO. It’s inconvenient that the pool does not let you pay with a CC. I wish the front desk was on the first floor.

There are only 2 elevators for the guests. However, 1 elevator was out of order and the main lobby is on the 9th floor. On my last day, the other elevator malfunctioned and I had to take the stairs from the 18th floor to the 9th floor to check out. It's a very nice hotel but because their elevator is not functioning I'm not recommending this hotel until both elevators are functioning in order again

Staff is excellent, I hotel a lot and I’m so happy with staff at One C. Rooms are pretty small, we have to walk around luggage. Elevators are an OVEN. Hotel does not FEEL clean except for restaurant area.

Everything was great from the staff, the food, the view at the pool and roof deck but what was needed to be improve is the cleanliness in the room. It's kinda dusty and when we checked in there was a cockroach greeted us and the next day almost check out I saw one walking on the bathroom floor.

I liked One Central Hotel. The hotel is very nice and the staff is fantastic. The hotel lobby is on the 9th floor and you need your room card to access the floors above the lobby so it is very safe. The rooms are fairly spacious, clean and modern. There are plenty of outlets, a safe, lots of room for clothing and a fairly spacious bathroom. They keep the rooms and hall areas very clean and there is almost always a housekeeper on the floor during the day if you need something. The showers have convertible overhead rain shower to hose and handle shower. The sink area is large with a good raised basin. The air conditioning works fantastically because the rooms must be well insulated. I barely needed it running to reach a comfortable temperature and maintain it. They serve a nice buffet breakfast from 6AM to 9AM. It has cereal, rice dishes, an egg cooking station, great fruit and delicious pastries. There’s fresh-brewed coffee, hot chocolate and a juice selection. It’s 575 PHP (about $10 USD). The staff is fantastic. They are so friendly and helpful that your needs will never be overlooked. They’re as accommodating as they can be and will help you as they can. Check In and Check Out were quick and hassle free. With its proximity to the bus station, three malls and a variety of local food options, One Central Hotel is a good place for a stopover in Cebue City.

need to call the maintenance coz of clog toilet that result the water overflow on bowl,..and need to call the reception to replace the towel which the maintenance used it to dry up the floor...and yes, someone came to replace it. but didn't replace the empty tissue role and didn't took the the full garbage...so need to call it again place it good but not the service.

Hotel was fantastic, such a beautiful hotel for the price paid!! Only slight issue was the shower in 6011 seems to be on an angle so all the water flows into the bathroom if you aren’t super careful. Other than that, considering booking again when I am in Cebu in a few days time!

The wifi was terrible, not worth mentioning in the description. It eas very noisey, there was someone making a call in a different room and we could hear everything that was being said. Also, they told us it would be quiet between 8pm and 6 am, but there were peope running trough the hallway at 4 and after 20 minutes i decided to tell them to keep it down myself.

No hot water. Slow internet. Elevators take ages. Just not worth the premium price.

Nice and clean hotel, great service but a lot of noise from outside

Property was clean, good wifi and good selection at breakfast buffet.

No hot water in the shower!!!

Hotel is in a busy area, thus, the noise. The bathroom has no shower partition, which makes the entire floor slippery after a shower. It smells like sewage just outside the hotel on the street.

Check in time is 2pm. We arrived there by 5:30pm and the staff said the room is not ready yet. We waited from few minutes to HOURS, we asked for any update and they said it’s still not ready yet and that’s 8pm. It is very inconvenient and unprofessional. We are tired and exhausted from our travel but we can’t even get our room at the time that we supposedly should. Frustrating!

I don’t know why, but check in has become why longer. I got an extra room for my niece and it took literally like an hour. I went to check in on her twice and I was told everything was fine but she missed dinner with us it took so long. It’s not the first time lately (we stay there a lot).

hotel policy never mention no visitors after 8 pm when make booking also nobody mention it when checking in. But they conduct it ,it’s terrible service

Room not ready ar 5 pm

Des le debut il y a eu des problemes. La receptionniste voulait que j’annule avec Expedia et que je reserve avec eux. La negociation entre Expedia et l’hotel a dure 3 heures. Ensuite il y avait une fuite d’eau dans la chambre donc il fallait que j’attende. J’ai exige d’avoir la chambre malgre l’eau qui entrait par la fenetre. La chambre est petite mais avec une belle vue. Le buffet le matin est trs bien

The hotel was very nice. The service was outstanding.

They seemed to want to “game you” at every opportunity to collect more money from you. The AC barely works, the refrigerator kept going out. Rooms were small and TV didn’t work well. Overall - room was average at best. The one saving grace for hotel was a very nice breakfast.

Great location, amazing service, very clean rooms. They even packed a sandwich and water for us on the day that we left because our flight was at 5 AM so we couldn’t have our breakfast at the buffet station. Thank you very much.

The reception staff were accommodating and pleasant. Housekeeping cleaned well and timely replenished room amenities. The security at the entrance of the hotel were attentive to our arrival needs; gave helpful info about restaurants nearby and public transport available.

Service staff, like the housekeeping , maintenance, front desk and dining crew are courteous. It’s service with a smile.

It’s not walking distance to a good mall for food and shopping is my only concern. Breakfast is great in the hotel. Everything is very nice. It’s not far from CCLEX, Magellans Cross and Carbon Market by taxi.

It was above/adjacent to the Emall. That made for multiple options for different food and necessities/toiletries one may forget to bring. Also, it’s within walking distance of Magellan’s Cross and Fort San Pedro

The hotel is fine for an overnight stay if moving through Cebu to other destinations. I would not want to stay here fir several days as it seems far from the main attractions. The area around the hotel is very busy and quite noisy.

One Central is on the border with the area called Carbon... and it is a crime ridden, dangerous area... BE VERY CAREFUL walking south of the hotel!

An oasis in a busy and chaotic area. Breakfast buffet is very good. Hotel is attached to a little shopping mall with some food options and a supermarket. Very convenient to the bus depot for Moalboal etc

Great location walking distance to markets, Magellan's cross, Fort Pedro, Basilica Minore del Sto. Niño de Cebu,, short drive to the Aquarium. Very comfortable, great food.

A very good hotel in a central location. The area is busy and dirty, but there is a nearby mall which is handy.

Great traditional Filipino breakfast selections.

Some of the reviews I saw for One Central between booking and arrival did leave me a little concerned. Difficult to access parking, standard of rooms, extra charges, noise and lack of hot water. However, i experienced none of this. Yes the car park is steep but is fine to access and the person directed us to where I could park. Check in was simple enough, room was a good size, bed comfortable and bathroom a good size. Only had the room for 2 nights but had 2 good nights sleep and not affected or disturbed by music or general noise as other reviewers had mentioned in the past. Breakfast was good for what I needed, the omelette station was a pleasant surprise. They were freshly made and nice. My only comment about the room would be that the shower warmed up after a few seconds the sink hot water didn’t making have a shave a little less ideal but didn’t cause me any bother. Overall I was happy with One Central Hotel

Good service. Buffet breakfast for 599 pesos. They have good selection. Convinient to the stores around. Staffs are helpful and friendly.

The staff are very accommodating. The breakfast buffet was very delicious. Our rooms were very clean. It’s close-by to the local stores for gifts (pasalubong) for our family back home.

Great Hotel, close to major attraction. Yhey have the best Filipino buffet breakfast.

Breakfast had a great variety of foods to eat and they even had an egg station.

Very shabby area of town. Room adequate but for the safe, bedside light and tv remote not working. Breakfast ok but dinner was appalling. Three at our table one meal did not arrive until others had finished and I complained. We could not have the menu items we wanted-not available. L are yet in the evening I was disturbed twice, for room service I did not order and then to pay for the dinner, we were not presented with a bill at the table. It had to be cash.
