The property was in a good location for me, across the street from bus stop / tube station. It was clean, with friendly staff and has a restaurant and Uber services in the lobby (great for those without an account). The hallways were nice and the rooms feature internal electrical switches for "make up room" / "do not disturb" with relevant colors showing on the lighted room numbers outside the room - although simple, this is a really nice, sensible approach. There were also two lifts, which was convenient. Although I had a small windowless room, this did not bother me too much as the TV was good. I would have liked to have a kettle and possibly a microwave in the room, which contained only an expresso maker.

Easy check in and out, clean room. No window in room which was unexpected, not a major issue as meant better sleep but should be transparent about this on booking as no natural light not ideal. Nice toiletries provided and glad to have a coffee maker!

No complaints to be had, but manage expectations when it comes to space. When the staff couldn't find my booking they worked quickly to sort it out, to their credit. The room itself was a compact double with a window - if you have a suitcase you may struggle for room but if you're there for a couple of days with a bag you'll be just fine. It's got a decent sized bathroom, a safe, and a really good set of blinds that blocks out all of the light. Plus, the windows reduce a lot of the street noise, so you'll sleep well. The windows don't open, but the climate control is excellent - our stay was during a heatwave and the cool air was wonderful, especially at night. If you can get over the minimal space, it's a good place to stay. You're close to the Bethnal Green underground station and you're close to two overground stops. I'd certainly stay here again.

Love the area! Tube, overground and buses close by. Good dining and nightlife in area. Room was bigger than expected, and always clean. Room would improve with a small fridge. Cleaning staff was really polite and service minded. Staff in lobby were also great. They have a safe luggage room, that's great. But... YOU REALLY NEED TO GET THAT SECOND ELEVATOR FIXED! the waiting time for the elevator was not great, our room was on the 5th.

Location is good with 3-5 minutes walk to an underground train station. It’s a quiet and safe area. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Hotel allows early checkin at 1:00 without charge which is very helpful for people arriving after an overnight flight. The room is small but that’s what I paid for. My only complaint was the housekeeping light which you have to choose which light for housekeeping or no housekeeping. It would be helpful if some staff explains the light at checkin.

The male staff were very helpful and kind, always there to assist. We had an issue with the condition of the first room, as it smelled like rotten water, and 2 days into our trip there was water coming out from under the floorboards. We were moved to another room thankfully, but that first room should not be available until the issues are fixed and cleaned (we saw new guests staying shortly after).

The only downside I could mention is that the cleaning staff went knocking at my door (like half an hour before the check out time) on the checkout day just to tell me: you're leaving today right? - it is not a big deal but it makes you feel they're rushing you when you are getting ready to leave anyway. Apart from this, everything was great and would definitely be staying again.

The room was spotlessly clean and cleaned every day. The staff were friendly unhelpful. There was a good quality breakfast available at a competitive price and overall I would write the Hotel very highly. The rooms are small but you do not need anymore. Highly recommended.

The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. The room was quite small but suitable for a 1 or 2 night stay. The doors can be quite loud when closing but it didn’t help that alot of guests just let them slam shut rather than closing them using the handle. We booked a city room which faced on to the main straight and it seemed there were sirens passing constantly throughout the night. Overall a nice hotel and would book it again for a short stay.

This is not in Shoredich it's in Bethnal Green. Our room has no windows which initially freaked us out but quickly realized it was a blessing as our room was quiet and cool for sleeping in. Handy and close to the tube into the city centre.

When we arrived I felt the welcome was underwhelming and my booking for b&b was questioned as I was asked pay for breakfast. I had to tell the person at the desk several times that I had booked throgh Hotel.com and I had already paid for breakfast. He asked me to prove it and I spent time searching for the receipt and then he found it on his system and agreed without apology. The room was very small, with a good shower and air con but no windows or hanging space. The ensuite was also very small with very little turning space. It did the job for us as we only needed it for one night, but it really was for only 1 or 2 nights. Breakfast was fine, with a limited choice.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. Everything about my experience was great, but what truly stood out was the hotel staff. They were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout my entire visit. The receptionist on the morning shift (asian nationality) was not friendly and did not seem to care about accomodating guests , also he did not speak good enough english, the cleanliness in the room was not good enough they did not removed from the room dirty glasses and coffee cups and were there for 3 nights in a row, the sofa bed extremely unconfortable , wouldnt stay here again or reccomend this property other than location as it was very convenient

Family room is spacious with double bed and double sofa bed, our stay included breakfast which was great. Property is a block away from underground station Bethnal Green, across the street from young v&a, and 10m walk to Victoria Park/Market and Broadway Market… super convenient.

A really good no frills stay in London, we were visiting Victoria park so it was a 15 minute walk away and the hotel is right by Bethnal Green underground. Small rooms but perfect for what we needed in a 1 night stay, surprisingly quiet at night, all good!

Hotel room and bathroom were nice. We did recieve 1 free drink which i got after we checked out of the hotel. It should have been a srink for 2 people. Did not use the food credit as the kitchen was closed every time we came back to the hotel.

Very small room. One of the worst stays. Basic breakfast sometimes cold. Sometimes gone before we got there. Not enough seating. Got charged for breakfast even though we did not go one day. Only good thing was excellent air conditioning. Will not stay here again.

Hotel was centrally based. 2 mins from Bethnal Green station, walkable to Shoreditch, with a sainsburys local nearby. Bars and restaurants located nearby. Breakfast for£10 is a bargain, and voucher for free drink at the bar
