Well, we showed up to the hotel to check in. We were told that there was no parking anywhere. We were greeted by very rude valet who told us that we needed to move our car and there was nowhere to park. So we ended up finding a place, about six blocks away. When we called the hotel to try to correct it they kept hanging up on us saying that there was nothing that they could do. We decided to stay elsewhere in the city because of The rude service and unprofessionalism of this hotel. I wouldn’t recommend it for anybody who is just trying to relax and have a nice stay.

This brand new property was great, modern with great kitchen, bathroom and very good bedding, blackout courtains and very good facilities (gym and rooftop). Breakfast was included and was good too. Mrs. Williams assisted with smooth check in and she was excellent, friendly, explained all the amenities and gave as an amazing room with great view. I highly recommend this property.

The room had bed bugs and we ended up having bites all over us in the morning. It seemed like a really nice hotel but my daughter got the worst of it on the pull out couch. Was really upset with this hotel.

This hotel was recently remodeled and the decor is very modern, clean and neat. The sofa bed wasn't very comfy but the king bed was great. We chose to sleep in one day which was ok since we had a kitchen and was able to make our own meals, drinks, etc. No oven, but we were able to make a skillet meal and basic breakfast items. Our room was pretty quiet but the view was the side of a building. Thankfully we weren't there for the view. The rooftop is nice for dining and there was a show being performed in the building. So for those days you felt you were out all day and wanted to stay close, check out the show. Staff were very nice and considerate and watched our bags when we checked out so we could tour a bit more before leaving. Walking distance from nice coffee shops, shopping and restaurants. Rideshare able to easily locate the hotel for pick up and drop off. About 15 mins from the DCA airport. No hotel shuttle service.

Location of the hotel is super convenient- close to Metro station and nice restaurants. The room we were in was a disaster - no curtain on one of the windows, torn shower curtain, no body-wash in shower, only two drawers for cloths storage, AC set up to motion so at night we woke up several times to reset it because it turn off automatically.

My room had issues. The automatic electric curtains were broken and the curtains were falling down. Several other issues in the room as well. The AC also cuts off after four hours or so, so you wake up in the middle of the night with no air and have to get up and turn it back on. Not good. The room needed cleaning better and had only 1/8 a roll of TP and 2 towels.

When we arrive I immediately tried to open the auto shades in the room and they would not open. We finally got one to work. Could not see out of the room, room was dark and I am a person that needs light. I called the front desk, 2 people did arrived, they could not get them to work and said they would be back later. I had an event and left the room but had told them to please feel free to come back and fix the issue so I would have a view later that evening. When I returned they still did not work and never saw another person before we checked out. I could have been in a large closet with the same view. Thanks

Loved the rooftop feature with the magnificent views. Although three staff members were checking people in or answering questions, a fourth or even a fifth could have moved the line along quicker. Very happy with the restaurant and the happy hour. Speedy delivery of the car when we needed it.

although we reserved for five guest, there were only three towels in the room. There was only two bottles of water! When I asked for more bottles at least equal to number of guests, they told me that macimum number of bottles for room is only two! If this is the case, why do they charge more as number of guests increase! This not fair at all. Also parking staff especially on 13th of August morning was terrible! They were rude snd not ftiendly. Staff was acting like buncb of buddies talking laıdly in different language other than English or spanish among themselves making guests feeling akward. One of the parking staff was beeping while I was loafing my car. He was seeing exactly what I was doing and despite that he was beeping. Whole staff was not proffessional. They were bunch of people brought at loe cost and not polite just msking guests feeling terrible. I think they use Marriot name but not providing proper service. I will never go there again.

Very disappointed as the Marriott did not honor the reservation. Wound up changing rooms 4 times, had people in the rooms for hours trying to fix problems etc. Also could not contact a person at Expedia to help solve the problem. Not the kind of service I would expect from Marriott or Expedia. ( Note: I am a gold card level user)

I had the privilege of meeting Essence. She is truly a great person to represent Marriott. I told her that she’s famous cause I read her name in most of the positive reviews from Google and other platforms. The hotel had free breakfast which was great for my family and the location is perfectly located to most of all the places you would need. However the room was not thoroughly clean as we had a few group of hair that were collected over time. The kitchen was nicely equipped and clean. There was one day out of our 3 nights stay that we were told hot water would not be able. It was ok since the hours were from 10pm-6am. We just make a few adjustments to our schedule that night. Other than that the staff are very friendly & hotel has a nice security in places. My family and I would definitely go back when we plan another DC trip.

I had a very frustrating experience at the Residence Inn Washington Downtown/Convention Center. Upon arrival, we were told our room wasn’t ready at the designated check-in time, which was incredibly inconvenient. After waiting longer than expected, they offered us a late check-out as compensation, which I thought was a decent gesture at first. However, what they failed to mention was that we would be charged extra for keeping our car in valet past the usual check-out time. This caught us completely off guard when we received the bill, as no one had mentioned any additional fees. Poor communication and lack of transparency completely ruined what should have been a relaxing stay. Definitely won’t be returning.

When I travel, I always use Residence Inn. This facility did not disappoint. Clean and spacious. What I appreciated the most is the helpfulness and professionalism of the staff. This was a really nice hotel. Great location, the White House and National Mall was within walking distance, but in the summer heat we used the nearby metro instead. Good value for the money. I would recommend this hotel for your stay in Washington.

The hotel is located in a peaceful area. The metro station Mt Vernon Sq is close, just a short walk of about 200 meters from the hotel. The hotel is very modern. The neighborhood is quiet at night and it feels safe. You will be charged a deposite when you check in. We were not used to that, coming from overseas.

Love the suite room. Has all the conveniences you need. The dining service was very poor in the evening. Morning service was great. Our room was not cleaned or serviced after our first night of stay so we did not have any coffee pods or fresh towels, bed was not made etc.

During check-in process we have been recommended in-room food service which we decided to try. The quality of food was way below expectations for a very high price. We basically were left without dinner that night. We brought it up during our checkout time but didn’t really get any resolution on this. Money were taken for nothing.

The hotel is located quite close to the tourist attractions in the area. For example, the White House is at a walking distance. The rooms are clean and spacious with a large comfortable bed. At this hotel, breakfast is included, which is an advantage compared to many hotels in the city that do not have breakfast included in the room price. One drawback though, is that the dining room has few dining tables, instead it has coffee tables that are small and totally impractical for having breakfast. If you come after 8:00 a.m. to have breakfast, you won't really find a place at the dining table, only at the coffee table, which is a bit unpleasant. Otherwise the hotel is fine and I recommend it.
