This was the best Courtyard I have ever stayed in. It felt much more like a Marriott. The lobby, the staff, as well as the room were very nice and upscale. The only negative was the parking. A $62/ day charge for parking seems excessive.

Updated rooms, good AC, no pool, rooftop deck/gym and a nice restaurant + room service. 15-30 min walk to the museums. 5-10 min walk to shopping and restaurants. Would stay here again.

Great location, not far from a metro stop. Nice sized rooms. Roof top area is a nice place to rest during the warmer months. It closed during the middle of our stay - October 31st - was the last night. It was a great place to unwind after a long day. We had a crying baby in the next room- the walls were thick enough that we could sleep through it. I was surprised by that.

Welcoming. Lots of staff to help! A few restaurants nearby but nothing huge so kinda a draw back BUT Metro station around the corner!!!! AC worked GREAT (we are from Texas ). But downside is restaurant stayed open only til 10 and there was no pool .

Internet kept knocking us off and making us log in in the middle of work. Room was very dark even in the afternoon with every light in the room on and curtains open. Shower drained very very slowly. Gross! Tub itself chipped. Everything felt dirty and out dated in the rooms. They clearly spent all of their renovation money on the lobby and bar area. Not in the rooms themselves. Location was wonderful for access to the convention center and that must be why they’re able to charge such a ridiculous rate. We paid it expecting a much better experience.

My room was fine although I let the front desk know that another visitor has thrown up in the hallway. The smell of vomit was throughout my floor and a towel of vomit was in front of the room across my room. No one had cleaned it up the whole day of my stay.

We had bed bugs in our room! It was the most horrible stay of my entire lifetime. We are still unable to go back to work and dealing with all the issues including medical check ups, exterminators for the home, new luggage and clothes. It has been terrible nightmare.

The hotel building is nice, but the bathroom was not clean. There was a lot of hair, especially in the shower. I ended up cleaning it myself. The receptionist was really horrible. He was rude and not helpful at all.

Room was very clean, on night 2 of our stay we have no hot water from 10 pm until 6am the next morning. That’s unacceptable and they didn’t offer us any comp for that. I’m truly disgusted by that. Front desk staff was nice. Restaurant was ok. The service wasn’t that great. Room was clean

We loved the restaurant downstairs! Great food, great restaurantstaff and great service. It was very convenientafter a long day of sight seeing to ha e that option to relax and go downstairs for dinner. Breakfast wasnt included but that meant we could wake up feeling relaxed and not rushed. Also there were some amazing coffee options near by like Compass Coffee and Unconventional dinner. The staff at the hotel is prompt and very helpful. Something we didnt like is that facility in our bathroom which was not working, i.e. the tub. So the water would not drain. Howver when i mentioned it to the hotel staff they immediately fixed it and the next morning replaced the bathtub items that needed to be fixed. Great city, great experiance at the hotel...we could not have picked a better hotel for our first time washington visit.

While booking was easy, my issue was with the hotel room itself! There was NO microwave in the room! That is such an inconvenience. Also, no fully enclosed shower was aggravating. It’s nearly impossible for the bathroom floor to stay dry while showering. These may seem like minor inconveniences but when you’re used to certain amenities in hotels these are my reasons to not rebook here.

The hotel is great, the reason I gave 3 stars is they tend to put people who use hotels.com or 3rd party in the undesirable location. In my case I was right next to the elevator. It was loud and several people knocked on my door laughing through the night.

The property was clean and modernized. The staff was friendly and helpful, for the most part. My only issue, and it's a major is, it's that the lock on my room door was broken. The key card worked once, then every time I returned to my room I had to call for maintenance to come open my door. Once, I had to wait 30 minutes to get into my room. Very unacceptable! They tried 5 times to repair it, but couldn't. I was told that there were no other available rooms for me to be transferred to, so this was my misery the entire trip. $800+ spent on this miserable experience!

Very nice and convenient place to stay for a conference at the convention center. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice rooms with very comfortable beds. The only complaint was the AC being too loud and making a clanking sound every time it turned off. I asked them to fix it and they changed it to be on all the times. It made it a little better but still a little noisy.

We stayed on the 12th floor, one shy of the roof. We had random noises coming from the AC at odd hours. We called the front desk and they did send a repair man very promptly. The repair person went to the roof and fixed it… only to have the noise return several times through our stay. Have the hotel service their roof AC units

I liked that the room got dark easily. The AC/Heat unit was very very loud and the room was much warmer than the low point on the thermostat said (67 degrees). I asked in person and called a couple of times to see if something could be done, since I was getting very little sleep. The front desk said it could be lowered, but never did it. It was a decent, centrally located hotel, but difficult to give high ratings with no sleep.

I would like to bring to your attention some concerns regarding staff behavior during both check-in and check-out. During my check-in, there was a long queue with only two counters available to serve guests. It was frustrating to see that the staff members were engaged in conversation with each other instead of attending to the guests waiting in line. Similarly, during checkout, the situation was just as problematic. The staff member at the checkout was quite rude, which added to an already disappointing experience. I believe improvements in staff attentiveness and courtesy would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.

I’m gonna give the cleaning staff the best rating possible! They were amazing. However, the staff to great you upon arrival was ridiculously rude! I never encountered one person who actually wanted to work and I felt dumb asking questions. I wouldn’t stay here again because of the terrible customer service. Food at the restaurant honey and something … don’t just don’t! Total waste of time enjoy a breakfast somewhere else I didn’t make plans because I wanted to give them a shot. I was wrong.

We had a wonderful stay over Labor Day weekend! We were able to walk to most tourists areas and the Ubers were very convenient when we needed to ride. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful! We enjoyed our stay! No complaints😊

The choice on the menu was limited. If you stay more than a couple of days you would eat elsewhere. The acoustics are not good if children are around. Otherwise all good.

The location, next to the Washington Convention Center was great. The lobby area and restaurant/bar were inviting and comfortable too. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had a shower issue and it was taken care of before I came back in, so good building care. But the combined Courtyard and Residence Inn did not share free breakfast privileges. I was not aware of this and as a Courtyard guest, I had to buy my breakfast, and spend more time, while the Residence Inn guests had breakfast included. That was disappointing. But an overall good stay and a nice city hotel.
