I used it just for a night but the hotel doesn't have elevators , so first I ask for 1st floor room but they didnt have any available, so I have to take a bike suitcase, and all the other suitcases to the 3rd floor alone in a narrow stairs. Nobody offers any help. Definitively I am not going to recommend this hotel .

Hotel was hard to find ! No free/easy parking available...had to pay $20 to private park.

En general un hotel que cumple bastante bien con la relación precio calidad... Si te hospedas ahí por la alberca, decir que está limpia y bonita pero pequeña!! La ubicación excelente

The hotel is in a great location—just a short walk to the beach, souvenir shops, the ferry, and the ADO bus station, making it easy to get around. The area felt safe, and there are plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby. Room service did an excellent job making the bed and respecting our belongings, which we appreciated. However, the room itself was quite stuffy and had a noticeable moldy smell, likely due to the humidity and the age of the building. The door didn’t close properly, causing it to make noises throughout our stay. Also, there is no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. The biggest downside was the WiFi—it simply didn’t work. Overall, if you’re looking for a convenient location and don’t mind some maintenance issues, this could be an option, but improvements are needed.

Ok, el hotel esta en muy buena ubicacion si vas a turistear. A 2 cuadras de la playa, atras del ado, a un lado de la 5ta avenida. Tienw El detalle q aveces en las noches y como hasta las 2 am se alcanza a escuchar la musica de los eventos q realizan cerca de la 5ta, aunque en realidad a mi esposo y a mi no nos molesto. Las camas son cómodas, las habitaciones muy bonitas, hay una cafetera para los q quieran llevar su propio cafe, la señal de cable en la tv es buena, el personal fue amable. Le doy 4 de 5 estrellas solo por el detalle de q la piscina estaba fuera de servicio y no la pudimos utilizar, esta igual no es muy grande pero es funcional, aunque, aunque debido al mal uso q le dan otros huéspedes metiendose con bloqueador (lo cual esta prohibido) requiere mantenimiento mas seguido. En general nos encanto

They are well located but have no parking and have not made arrangements for any nearby parking lots. Any parking nearby is always full so there are no nearby alternatives.

We like the colorful old style Mexican painted headboards, chairs, etc. On a previous stay the swimming pool was much cleaner looking; this time the staff seemed to be having difficulty adjusting the balance and it looked very murky. The staff if very friendly and accommodating. When we were unable to open the safe in the room someone came within a few minutes to take care of it. We have been vacationing in Mexico for more than 20 years and have accustomed ourselves to the generally “relaxed” speed that the locals move, so we were pleasantly surprised when the man from This hotel responded so promptly.

My wife sliced her toe open in their pool because tiles are missing. They handed us some band-aids and that was it. Soon after, children were playing in the pool. No warnings were given to them and this is after my wife bled quite a bit in the pool. They refused to talk to us or accept responsibility and don\'t seem to be planning on fixing the pool. It ruined our vacation and we were unable to go on any excursions. My wife was up all night throwing up, the night before check out. Possibly due to germs getting into her cut toe. When I told the extremely rude woman at the front desk we may need an extra hour or two to check out due to my wife throwing up, the only thing she said was, "You have to pay an additional 200 pesos per hour. She was horrifically rude our entire stay. The rooms smell like sewage. Wifi is virtually non-existent. They take your towels in the morning and don\'t replace them with clean ones until the evening. Music from a club down the street blasts until 3am. The A/C is above one bed pointing down to it. This results in one bed being freezing and one being hot. Do yourself a favor and don\'t stay there.

Cleaning lady came every day to clean the room and bring fresh towels. I stay here every time I come to Playa.

Por segunda vez nos hospedamos y había cucarachas y nos mordieron durante la noche

When we arrived the room had strong smell of urine. We weren't sure if it was from the bathroom or the space outside the bathroom window. It eventually dissipated. Room was spacious bathroom was smaller than expected. The parking lot was closed which required that we park on the street several blocks away.

We have stayed here several times. Always friendly staff and clean rooms! We love how close it is located to 5th Ave! Recommend this hotel!

Rarement autant déçue par un hotel et la différence entre ce qui est annoncé et ce qui est trouvé sur place. Sur le papier, hacienda / demeure de style colonial, dans la réalité: un personnel peu aimable, froid et parlant peu anglais pour un hotel 3* dans cette zone. Très mal équipé: pas d'eau chaude à l'arrivée, on a résolu le problème nous même en découvrant l'arrivée générale d'eau chaude est en fait ... coupée, le ventilateur à deux doigts de se décrocher (heureusement pas eu besoin), odeurs nauséabondes qui remontent du lavabo. Côté propreté, pas mieux, les draps sont sales,pas de tapis de bain ni de petite serviette fournis le 1er soir, on nous en a donné finalement 1 de plus en rechignant... sauf qu'elle était sale et trouée. Le 2ème jour, on a eu droit à un tapis de bain tâché. De nos 15j au mexique, 1er hotel (toutes catégories confondues) qui ne nous met pas à disposition une bonbonne d'eau filtrée. La piscine qui donne envie sur les photos est en réalité pas du tout idyllique: ouverte à tous les regards, même ceux des passants et dans un patio qui pourrait être utilisé autrement qu'en tant que dépôtoire / arrière cuisine du restaurant accolé à l'hotel, qui de ce fait, dégage des odeurs de cuisine qui remontent aux chambres. Enfin, la situation en plein centre est un point en plus en journée, mais un enfer la nuit car l'isolation est inexistante, et le bruit de la 5ème Av et des restos/bars du centre se retrouvent sur l'oreiller. Conseil: Fuyez pour ce prix là

No hot water to bath. Beds are hard. No top sheet, just a dirty comforter.

El trato y atencion del personal es excelente, solo la habitacion tenia demasiado olor a humedad, olía como a calcetines sucios. El restaurante muy bueno, todo lo que comimos estaba rico y a buen precio. Doy un 7 de 10. En general ppr lo q se paga no esta mal.

Friendly and helpful staff. Room has an authentic Mexican appeal, but it feels small and there's not a single chair for sitting. Strong AC and fan. Tiny bathroom and the toilet seat doesn't stay up. Good for a short stay.

Well located for fifth ave and the beach. ADO is nearby. Only complaint is spotty wifi and no fridge in the room. Staff is friendly and some speak English very well. Bed is comfortable and plenty of hot water.

The hotel was perfectly adequate for a short stay. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed, no issues with hot water or the heat pump. And the location is great. Surprisingly quiet, given the proximity to 5th Ave. Only a couple of negatives. It would be great to have a bar fridge to keep a few drinks or breakfast items. And the Internet is very wonky. Get booted frequently.

In the classic Mexican traditional style, the rooms were nice. Plenty of hot water.

Location was perfect. Was able to walk to many restaurants and transportation was easy to find. Very clean. Cute hotel. Hot water and cold AC. Only thing lacking was a mini fridge to keep drinks cold. Otherwise, great place to stay.

Ubicación mejor imposible, pocos metros de la 5ta avenida y la playa, buenas instalaciones, malo wifi y por alguna razón tampoco hay señal de teléfono, si ocupas mucho internet se te complicara.

The WI-FI did not work well. Would have stayed much longer as I am always working . Incredible location, comfy beds, great AC. Nice people and good style of hotel . Colonial style .

Nice, clean hacienda style place. Good air conditioning; beds were comfortable; room size was good; location was excellent. Only complaint was water in shower never got above tepid and on Thursday and Friday night I could hear/feel base of music from a bar down the street. It wasn’t bad and didn’t keep me awake, but noticed it in the background when I was awake. I figure it is a small trade off for the great location and being able to walk everywhere I wanted.

I liked that it was one block from the beach.. i did not like that it had no mini fridge or no microwave

Close to many parties, I heard a lot of noise up to 3am. My initial reservation was in this hotel, but they oversell the rooms for that night, so they have to move me to another brother hotel with a “better” room. I had to walk with me luggages around 8min to get to the new hotel. The check in Professor was painful, it took around 30 min. The worst part was that they gave an occupied room to my friend, so when he went to his room, he saw a naked couple! This hotel was a terrible experience.

I worried late check in, didn’t know they close at noon… but when i arrived at hotel, security guard help, he called reception person, it was very helpful.

they do not have an actual reception, they only have a security guard the one from the morning rude and lack of respect. They always need to wait from other hotel to come to resolve issues related to the reservation and payments.

I have stayed here a few times and love the location, hotel and sraff

Excelente Hotel, muy respetuoso, algunos muy amables que otros, pero nos sentimos cómodos y cerca de la Quinta Avenida. Los chicos de recepción son excelentes en dar información y ayudarte con tus dudas, Diego y Carolina son muy amables y nos ayudaron siempre. Después el muchacho de seguridad, Emanuel, muy amable, se ofrecía para todo, muy gentil. 100% recomendables. Nos vemos pronto

Close to the Quinta Avenida(5th Avenue) of Playa del Carmen, this hotel is a very good place to stay. 100% recommended.

Convenient hotel, shopping and restaurants steps away. Was loud in the night with clubs close by and other loud guests using the pool until late into the night.

It seemed safe, clean and the price was right!!! Didn't like they spoke little English!!!

Great hotel! Incredibly accessible location - the hotel is close to everything. It's right on quinta, next to ADO and ferry, not to mention all the dining options. We loved the hacienda style - the room was spacious, beautiful and unique, and the hotel had a cozy feeling to it. The best was the big balcony with a nice view. Really worth it for the price!

Ubicación privilegiada a media cuadra de la quinta avenida, en la misma cuadra en la calle lateral la terminal turística de ado, a una cuadra y media de la playa y a una cuadra de la plaza los fundadores

Ubicación mejor imposible, pocos metros de la 5ta avenida y la playa, buenas instalaciones, malo wifi y por alguna razón tampoco hay señal de teléfono, si ocupas mucho internet se te complicara.

Great staff. Accommodated us as quickly as they could as we were early arrivals. Very clean, ample space in room, good beds. Only thing lacking was a refrigerator 😊 Restaurant right next door was great, many options in walking distance.

The toilet would not flush. The free coffee was just for the first day. No frig or microwave. Only allowed one towel per guest for complete stay. No pool side bar, no snack bar or deli and transportation at additional costs. Noisy. Housekeeping cleaned the room and on two occasions left the patio door open.

No cuenta con estacionamiento, no realizaron la limpieza de nuestra habitación. Llegaron hasta las 18:30 hrs a querer realizar la limpieza, después de que ya habia reportado, pero mi familia ya estaba descansando. La alberca es muy pequeña. No cuenta con restaurante. La persona de recepción de noche un poco grosero, estuve marcando para querer avisar que llegaríamos tarde porque se atraso el vuelo y.solo contestaba y colgaba...

Todo bien solo que llegamos en la noche y en la habitación decia que habia agua y cafe de cortesia y no tenian nada de eso, como era de noche ya no habia nadie en recepción para comunicarles que faltaba el agua y traiamos mucha sed, fuera de eso todo bien, tranquilo y con excelente ubicación, el agua caliente tarda mucho en salir eso si y las cobijas y almohadas muy duras hace falta renovarlas

The shower head was moldy and the drain was slow. Some of the staff seemed irritated by us being there. There isn't a bar on premises like the pictures show. Coffee maker but no coffee and none of the markets we went to had coffee grounds. Air conditioner worked well and cleaning staff were nice. Front desk people were quite friendly.

Eu e minha esposa gostamos muito deste hotel por estar próximo do comercio na quinta avenida, terminal Ado e do ferry para Cozumel. Durante o furacão Berny esteve muito seguro. Pessoal muito amavel. Muito limpo. Uma piscina pequena e suficiente para depois do banho de mar. Não tem café da manhã, mas havia uma promoçäo muito economica para restaurante Ipanema, está próximo e excelente! Com certeza regresaremos neste hotel.

This place is a solid good quality value. It is not brand new or fancy but has charm and is a comfortable safe and friendly place to stay. It has a casual dining place called Mr. Dog that is open late with a wide menu. Kevin at the front desk really strives with customer service excellence.

To us, this hotel was a genuine Mexican experience. The facility had faded glory. Room was very good with good beds. The hot water was not working on and off. Weird to have a coffee maker but no coffee to make, even when inquired for. Pool is small and in the middle of all the lobby activity. Hotel is right in the Avenida 5 shopping market area but was still quiet.
