Holiday Inn Express & Suites Oklahoma City Southeast - I-35 by IHG

The "fitness room" did not have working equipment. The elliptical and treadmill did not work and was tore up buttons missing and cracks in the machine. When I checked in that evening the lady was nice nothing making me feel like i was special but she was alot better than the morning gentleman that i checked out with!! He did ask me how my stay was or invite me back and he didnt even break a smile. I guess it was too early for him! The shower head cover from wall was not on the wall to cover the pipe from wall. The swimming pool looked dirty but you could tell it had chlorine in it because my eyes were burning sitting and watching. Could have been dirty bc it was end of day?...it could have been alot worse though.

Called prior to booking and called on the last day to cancel my reservations to make sure pool and hot tub were working to arrive and the hot tub was in fact not working. We requested refund and found a difference hotel. We were only in the city for my 5 year old to have a heart procedure. Just very disappointed.

The hotel is fine - free breakfast is standard, pancakes and pastries and eggs and sausage patties, yogurt, cereal. Pool is indoors and was not kept clean (murky greenish water) and the pool area is uncomfortable - small chairs very close to the edge so you/your belongings are constantly splashed and they do not monitor the area so we had a HUGE amount of rowdy people in there drinking beer (against the rules) and vaping (also against the rules) while my young daughter was trying to swim. Hallway is constantly wet because there is no carpeted area or place to dry off between pool room and elevators/lobby so watch your step. Rooms themselves are fine. Area is close to everything, less than 10 min drive to convention center which is why we were in town. Diner next door is delicious for a quick bite and has a very cool retro David Lynch vibe.

The room is new and clean. Parking is spacious and safe with fences all around. Staffs are nice and helpful.

They have a really nice pool and hot tub. Clean rooms. Their breakfast was the best complimentary breakfast we have ever had at a hotel.

Poor property maintenance. Slow drain/clog in the shower. Very little water pressure. Handles loose on the bathroom door. Elevator was filthy. Property is in an industrial part of town. Expedia site said it was 7 min from Airport--close to 20 min away.

The property was so clean and new. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

The location was perfect for our event. However, the service was terrible. We stayed for 5 nights and only received service in our room once. I had to go and get towels each night from the lobby. I was told room service was minimum because of Covid restrictions. After I asked for service, all they did was take out the trash and switch out towels. Very disappointing service considering how much I paid to stay at this hotel.

I usually stay at Marriott properties. I was surprisingly satisfied with all aspects of this stay. I received several text communications throughout the entire process (check in, during the stay, and after) and was able to respond via text with questions and comments. The hotel was clean, inside and out. Good shower pressure, pleasant breakfast. The the registration desk staff was super friendly, helpful and efficient. And lastly, you couldn't beat the price/value!

As always, the hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly, the room was immaculate, and comfortable, and my wife and I had a lovely visit at the hotel.

The put us in a room with bed bugs!!!!! Then moved us but never offered anything else! It was horrible.

My sheets had a makeup stain as of not changed. The table was sticky as if not cleaned before I arrived. When I called to tell the front desk she said “ all I can offer you is some clean sheets.” Keep in mind we had checked in for a concert so we checked in and headed straight to the concert and this is all taking place at about 1 am. We start to notice how dirty the room is. After thirty minutes of waiting on new sheets my boyfriend went down to the car and maybe just see if he saw the front desk employee. He sees her and she proceeds to give him the new sheets and tells him to take them up and put the dirty ones outside the door. It was about 2am by the time we got the new sheets and bed made. I got wasn’t so late we would have left. DO NOT GO THERE! If I could give 0 stars I would.

We where over the pool and we could hair the nose.the bed was as hard as the floor.

We stay here often and love everything about this hotel, great service, quick access to Bricktown without the pricy hotel and the rooms are big. Only complaint, which I’ve mentioned in all my reviews but have yet to see improvements done, are to the SLIPPERY SHOWER FLOORS! Please put non skid strips in there before someone gets seriously hurt.

The front desk clerk was super nice, the hotel and beds were clean. It was a little loud from the traffic from the road.

The noise from the highway was so loud couldn't sleep. Haven't you heard of using materials to sound proof room? Worst hotel ever stayed in, never going back there.

Nice, clean hotel. The only problem was that you could hear the cars passing on the highway, and the curtains would not close. The parking lights would shine through the curtains.

Fast and friendly staff, clean hotel, great breakfast, good AC. Cox cable quit working, 2 LED lights flashed on smoke detector in the middle of the ceiling every 3 seconds, could hear people in the next room, no light in the ceiling but several lamps around, and refrigerator had a continuous fast click noise.

Excellent. We had problems with check in because I accidentally selected the wrong check in date but Will helped us out and was so patient with all the calling we had to do to get our reservation fixed. Gorgeous room and so clean. Breakfast was really good and there were a ton of choices. We will definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

Would have given 5 stars had we not waited for 30 minutes to be let into the hotel despite using the phone in the doorway and calling multiple times.

I was a good place to stay and relax for the weekend. Customer service was excellent. Happy Halloween you’ll. Sorry if I scary the housekeeper. Is almost Halloween

This was a dismal stay, our worst in a holiday inn and possibly souring us to the hotel chain as a whole. They apparently have a blanket policy for no late checkouts now, despite we’ve always had one before. We were there for the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon and because of the policy and the complete lack of any understanding by the staff, we were forced to sprint back from the race to get our belongings and take a 5 minute shower. The front desk and staff were disinterested, the room did not feel clean, the TV remote was so worn it barely functioned, the bed also felt worn and uncomfortable. Begging for the extra five minutes to get our stuff felt like torture. Never again.

We arrived very late ( or very early in the morning) and check in was a breeze! Very speedy, and got us up to our clean, comfy room quickly. Breakfast was plentiful and coffee was strong. Front desk staff was always friendly and willing to assist. Highly recommend this Holiday Inn!

Absolutely HORRIBLE check in experience, wasn’t made aware of the policies and checked in late at night, attendant forced me to pay for the SAME NIGHT AGAIN or find another hotel, was rude and sarcastic. Stole my money find another place to stay

We were denied our stay due to hotel claiming that Expedia was short a couple dollars in taxes payed to the facility. We waited over one hour with an infant in the car trying to find a resolution. Hotel wanted us to pay for our lodging again. I refused to pay staff member was absolutely rude. I had to tell her to keep her attitude under control as well as her tone. Expedia representative asked them to accommodate us so we could check in and they were going to find a resolution for the missing taxes, the manager and front desk person refused to make an accommodation. She said she could make an accommodation but was not going to. I felt embarrassed frustrated my infant was outside sleeping in the car. I offered to pay the taxes “missing” she refused to charge them claiming that Expedia needed to pay. She mentioned that another guest earlier payed them the room after booking with Expedia. This was absolutely unacceptable. They definitely need to learn about the Business.

Front counter staff was excellent, especially the young lady at check in and the gentlemen on Saturday night. Genuinely friendly people.

The hotel itself was very good. The neighborhood was not that great.

Situated off interstate, shopping restaurants 10-15 away

Holiday Inn Express in OKC off of I-35 is clean and modern. Maintained extremely well. Although it's located in somewhat of an industrial area, the parking is off-street and between the hotel and interstate. If you really want a quiet room, ask to stay on the street side away from the highway. If you want to keep an eye on your vehicle (not that you really need to), stay on the highway side. We were on the highway side and slept just fine, even with traffic noise. Staff members and guests were all pleasant and friendly. Hotel has great access to downtown, Bricktown, Deep Deuce, OK Capitol, and OU Medical Complex. Only 10-15 away, you can get there by I-35 or S Eastern to Reno then north. The complimentary breakfast is one of the best I've seen with 2 types of eggs (scrambled - nice and fluffy - and omelets), a breakfast meat (1st morning was turkey sausage patties, next was crispy bacon), biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, cold cereal, Chobani yogurts, juices (cranberry was sweetened with Stevia), pancake batter, muffins, bagels, bread for toasting, muffins, and the most decadent cinnamon roll pastries. I noticed that several guests were in out-of-town construction crews. Note to self: when construction crews stay at a hotel that serves breakfast, you know that the breakfast is gonna be great! Shout-out to Sofia, manning the front desk. She was so welcoming, efficient, and helpful!! She got stuff done that another front desk staffer didn't.

Easy on and off access from I-35, quick trip to downtown, very clean, comfortable and exceptional breakfast. Will stay here each time I visit OKC.

This is a nice hotel with good amenities, and the front desk was very welcoming. The rooms were clean and quiet. The breakfast was great. It is a quick drive to downtown, which made this the perfect stay!

Pulled up in the parking lot with my daughter and did not go in. There were people having a party in the parking lot with sketchy behavior, all the businesses surrounding had barded wire fencing. We looked up the crime rate and it was one of the worst areas in OKC. The hotel inside could have been nice but we did not feel like it was a safe option for our family and vehicles in the parking lot. Surprised Holiday Inn would have this location. We’re usually happy with them.

There was a lot of street/traffic noise.

The hotel was great. The location, not so much. My vehicle, along with 5 other cars, had their windows busted out and broke into.

The property itself was great. An old dilapidated restaurant was nearby. We ate at Denny’s about a mile away. The area was somewhat old industrial. But not far from downtown and Bricktown and other places we wanted to see.

Great location by the highway and assessible to bricktown.

The hotel nice but the breakfast was not very good. The pancake machine was broken. 😞

Comfortable hotel with easy free parking. Safe, clean comfortable room, free breakfast was above average

It was very spacious and clean, the bathroom are very nice and clean but needed more towels for the family. Breakfast was good, but do not refill fast enough , I got tired of waiting for some granola, My husband was trying to figure out the coffee but when asked on how to the lady seemed bothered.
