Great location! Staff goes above and beyond. Friendly, attentive, helpful. Received several handwritten notes from staff. Nice touch! Breakfast was wonderful- many options and reasonable prices. Made us feel special with extras for our kids and our anniversary celebration. View was amazing of CN tower and Rogers Center. Several restaurants, shops, and attractions are walkable. Room was clean and spacious! Beds were comfortable. Sundries were good quality. Gym was large and well-equipped. It was also very clean. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool. Love this hotel! Would definitely return! Price was well worth it!

The room was great but there was significant building work going on in the foyer that was very noisy. It spoilt the only breakfast we had in the hotel, and was unpleasant each time we had to walk through.

Currently the lobby is under construction. I've stayed at the ritz plenty of times no issues. This time however there was a stain on one of the living room chairs. Housekeeping immediately came and switched the chair out and they comped my valet parking. All in all a good stay, even with the furniture issue the staff here is top class!

We had a wonderful stay recently, spending 5 days at the Ritz-Carlton. Our Club room was spacious and stocked with all the comforts of home. Our cleaner made it impeccable on a daily basis. We also experienced such welcoming warmth by the staff in the Club Lounge with special shout outs to Olga and Fernando who gave exceptional service to me and my family. Our children loved their hot chocolates topped with marshmallows!! Thank you as well to Armin who checked us both in and out graciously, assisting us with our questions. And finally to Paul, who drove us to destinations on occasion who had the most amazing recommendations on restaurants around the city! (and perhaps Montreal where we may try the Ritz in future!)

Exceded my expectations. The fact that all the staff address you by name and proactively suggest things you might enjoy is a great touch you tend to find only at real 5 star hotels. Perfectly clean and comfortable rooms can be found elsewhere but the little things the Ritz provides are intangible.

We stayed in a suite for 3 days. The service level is incredible and it is well situated. The room was beautiful but maybe missing some artwork or flowers to make it less generic. Also the bath was kinda dirty, I did mention it and nothing was done, these are small details but at this level everything is important! Nonetheless it was a great hotel overall.

My husband and I stayed in the 1 bedroom corner room, 2 washrooms. Nice design, detailing in the main washroom. It was a beautiful room, clean, comfortable. Service and staff were great. The hotel had a lot going on for NYE, and made an effort to make it special for the guests. We would stay here again.

I’ve never been given a bigger run around with wanting an early check in and even a late checkout. Call the day of too see availability, meanwhile there’s tonnes of empty rooms. Same ordeal with a late check out. Why can’t I have a late checkout when it’s already my room and you can’t check in until 4am. I’ve never had any problem until the Ritz-Carlton Toronto. Everything in the room looked very well worn also. The St. Regis and Four Seasons would be my next choice.

This was my first time staying at this property and it was nothing short of amazing! From the staff that greets you upon arrival and walk you to the front desk, to Alejandro and his amazing customer service. It genuinely made this the best birthday trip I’ve ever had. Thankful is an understatement! The food was just as amazing as the service and property. So if you have a chance, check out Toca on the second floor for breakfast. The food was absolutely delicious! Now on to the suite. I honestly didn’t want to leave! The suite and the view were breathtaking! It was such a welcoming and clean space and it definitely set the tone for our trip. There were views of the CN tower, the baseball stadium, and the lake. This suite and property are the main reasons why I will definitely be back to Toronto. I do hate that I missed out on the spa but I’m sure it’s just as amazing so if you’re there check it out as well! I could honestly go on and on about this place but please definitely go check it out! Again, thank you!!

This is my third time at the Ritz. I must say that we were disappointed with a few things and they really need addressing. 1. The soda bed in the room is terrible. It’s like a hammock and it needs changing asap. My granddaughters slept in it and they are under age 10 and had difficulty getting comfortable so I tried it. Secondly, an order of 8 chocolate chip cookies and 2 glasses of milk came to 88.00. This is unacceptable. Thirdly, the bacon at breakfast was inedible. It would seem that it had been previously set up in a buffet breakfast substantially earlier and used for our à la carts order. The proximity of your hotel is wonderful for our attendance to the Mirvish theatre but I’m considering changing hotels because of these very important amenities. Food, comfort and prices need to be improved.

Embarrassing how long we had to wait for room. We were told 3 times it was going to be ready and it wasn’t. For a high end hotel I would not recommend it. I was offered nothing!!!

The staff was very kind and welcoming. However, one young lady in particular—Gurleen—truly went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied throughout our stay. She was always available, whether it was for suggestions on places to go or just to check in and make sure we had everything we needed. I even forgot my flat iron, and she kindly helped me order one through Uber. She was simply perfect—professional, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. Additionally, Henry at the concierge was fantastic, offering us amazing dining recommendations that made our trip even more enjoyable. Thank you to the whole team for such a wonderful experience!

Can a hotel be too attentive? With a service priority they were trying their best but it became a bit of a nuisance in my room as someone was phoning and knocking often and interrupting. Next time I will just instruct I will reach out should I need anything and to not disturb ( privacy card on the door just had them call instead which defeats the purpose).

The location is convenient, but overall the experience was disappointing for a hotel of this reputation. Breakfast was mediocre—more in line with a 3- or 4-star property rather than a Ritz-Carlton.
