Beautiful hotel with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The gym and pool was also great including the steamshower, sauna and hot tub. The hotel did have some elevator issues (down to 1 from 3), which caused delays but I would hope and assume that was a one time issue. Would stay here again.

Beautiful hotel. Great staff. Great rooms and services, very clean. Missing some robes and towels in bathroom and they were very helpful. Celebrated new years and had an amazing time. Bartenders fantastic, room service great. Pool very very shallow and small, difficult to swim in, pool area not very clean. Challenging area to find good restaurants within walking distance.

I had a great 3 night stay, the price was excellent for the luxurious and clean room and staff who went above and beyond. They were helpful, responsive and friendly. The room service food was very good for room service standards, although the portions are a bit small. The cabanas in the pool area was very nice and relaxing and each cabana was outfitted with a tv with streaming apps. The only issue I had was the TVs in the rooms are old. They are not capable of casting or linking to your phone. That was a bummer because I like to watch shows and movies from my streaming apps on TVs

Clean room amazing hotel and location... Would recomend to anyone. Lobby bar even meet amazing people. Front staff great and inviting check in and check out super smooth. Room is a nice upgrade with great bathrooms and amenities with a tv in the mirror. Staff is super thoughtful and really remember you. Pool and ammenties are fantastic... with staff help and clean all over. Lobby bar is a must. Would recommend to stay again.

The Shangri La is a beautiful hotel with great facilities. The gym is huge and very well-equipped. The service was excellent. Everyone was kind and friendly. Our room was huge and comfortable. We hope to return soon.

Well, where do I start? The room that we had was beautiful and the hotel itself is gorgeous, the staff were lovely and the valet team were great. Everything seemed fine until we returned to our room at midnight after a long night out, to find the staff had been in to do a turndown service of our room (which is normally greatly appreciated) but they happened to DROP THEIR BAG OF DRUGS on the way out and left it in our room. Management and Security were contacted. I appreciate their quick attention, and we were comped the room, but STILL very disgusting. I wouldn't stay here again, knowing that this is the level of cleanliness this hotel keeps. Even if it was "leftover garbage from the last guest" which is what we were told from the manager in the morning.. thats almost EVEN worse. That means the level of quality in their housekeeping is subpar at best, and they really need to do more of an internal review of their practices.. this could have been MUCH worse. If we had children with us, a pet, anyone who didn't know what the bag was filled with and tried to handle it themselves, this could have ended in a much worse situation for this hotel. I would never stay here or recommend them again. GROSS.

Staffs were helpful, professional and friendly. I was quite disappointed that they don’t provide toothpaste and toothbrush unlike its competitors. But also how they cleaned the room was really bad as I could find several pieces of hair in the bedsheet.

After having stayed at this chain in other major cities, I had an expectation that this would live up to the others. IT DOES NOT. This is not a 5 star hotel anymore. It is in desperate need of a refresh and I found the service to be abysmal- unless they were jobs that were hoping for a tip (concierge, housekeeping). The beds are extra firm and on one of the days, our sheet change had stains and a tear in the sheet. The sheets are like 300TC, the carpet was stained and we found someone's bloody kleenix under the TV stand. The pool is not heated, but the hot tub is wonderful. They also do not change any of the pool cabana sheets, so one day a cabana had a pee stain on it. I would absolutely not stay here again, how disappointing.

Was a nice huge room with massive bathroom, found a pube in the tub so we never used it just stuck to the shower and the auto buttons for curtains etc. were wonky. Service was amazing but the area around the hotel reeks of urine and i expected more for the money.

The Shangri-La is an impressive hotel at first glance. The lobby especially is terrific with a great vibe all day. I should also add that the staff at all levels are fantastic. From the front desk to the turn down service, the teams are professional, hugely polite - absolutely top. Once you are off the lobby floor you begin to see the hotels age though. It’s time for a substantial makeover. The carpets need a little love, the pool - which I assume is a fitness centre for the building residents and also the hotel - honestly has an Embassy Suites vibe. Few towels, little room and chairs, kinda noisy and full of kids at one of our visits - and aged. The cushions in the seats were worn, it all looked like it gets the high use of a big condo tower. The hotel room itself was lovely but had the signs of age - like only a single standard plug on each side of the bed that could only be accessed by pulling the side tables out from the wall and unplugging a hotel amenity like the table light. There was a desk across the room with USB and plugs - but your phone goes beside your bed, your watch, your CPAP - no matter what you almost always need one plug near the bed. We went two blocks over to the St Regis for a drink and the difference is quite remarkable - including their arrival staff. It was a nice stay with great people. It just is getting tired and it shows in a few places. If you travel a lot, you’ll see it.

I thought this was really Lux for the price, the service in the lounge was a little spotty but really nice servers. It was so quiet I had the best sleep and the room amenities were 5 star. I would stay again and soon.

I love the hotel and the service but especially the people. I had a problem at 6am I had to go to a meeting wi the a bank and I forgot at home my cufflinks. I called the concierge and a few minute later the night manager knocked my door with a pair of cufflinks. His name was Perry Leung. Thanks so much Perry for all the help. Spa was also wonderful.

First impression the lobby was outstanding. Beautiful setting with a great vibe. However we arrived well over a hour after our check-in time and instead of going right to our room we were informed our room wasn’t ready and they were going to charge us $75 to upgrade to a room that was ready. The room was nothing special it didn’t even have a c-charger port to charge our modern phones and the hotel phones are terribly out of date, could barely make out the person on the other end when calling front desk. Overall it was fine, gorgeous facility but nowhere close to worth the cost. Wouldn’t book again.

This is a very nice hotel with easy access to the subway system. The rooms are well appointed, clean and comfortable. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the entire lobby is part of their restaurant, meaning that you need a reservation to sit anywhere after 11am. The restaurant food is of average quality.

My stay at the hotel was truly excellent. I really appreciated the efficient care and service. Also the property is in great condition. The room and lobby lounge was cozy. I also enjoyed breakfast and the complementary fresh fruit! And furthermore, location is great! Not too far from harbour and union - and also on allele so it’s near some shopping!

Terrible food. It actually upset my stomach. My pasta looked resembled sloppy Joe and my steak looked like it came out of a can of cat food, fancy feast to be exact. Not the best presentation. It could have been cleaner considering it is a luxury hotel. Also i was not offered 2 free beverages, when I inquired i was told it was the small bottle of red wine in the room. Well, ummm.thats misleading, definitely woukd have been better to choose our own drink. Not impressed

Above and beyond exceptional service and attention to detail. Incredible restaurants, and food and amenities.. my room was so clean. Love the convenience of the breakfast and coffee in the lobby.. had high tea and it was unique delicious and a very special experience!! the fitness area, sauna, yoga room, pool and Jacuzzi are wonderful. I can’t wait to stay again!
