Its Toronto! The staff were very nice. The Rex Hotel has a full restaurant below the hotel. JAZZ jam sessions in the evenings. I loved the food! The carrot cake was delicious! Clean bedroom.

This was a great place to stay for a singleton like myself. Very nice area, central, safe. The room was basic but clean, lovely bathroom, friendly staff. Great music at The Rex too. Would definitely return

Stayed at the Rex one night to attenda concert. Perfect location to walk to Scotiabank arena and felt safe walking late at night. Room was basic but comfortable. Shared bathrooms were clean and stocked. Free breakfast included coffe and toast with pb and j but they also had a menu if you wanted something more. Good price for downtown Toronto.

Stayed 1 night

Room was clean, no elevator (not something you should expect in an old building though, so no faults there). The furniture was old and the beds were uncomfortable. Very, very small shower, both elbows were bumping walls while washing my hair. AC was very loud and there was no fridge. Parking was close by for cheap. Walking distance to everything we went to It’s in a great neighborhood, the staff was friendly and it’s a great price. Would probably stay again if I was in the city.
