Lobby under construction, room hotter than Hades, I had to buy a fan just so we could sleep, bar and restaurant nothing like I expected, the room is a cracker box, had to change rooms as the "mountain view " side was 50 feet from an 8 lane interstate that roared constantly mostly because the window was broken. The place is worn out and selling it as a 4 star hotel is a joke. Suggest selling it off to La Quinta or some other 3 star brand so unsuspecting guests like me can manage expectations. On the plus side Pat at the front desk and the entire staff were wonderful, the room and lobby were very clean, and there was plenty of parking. I also really liked the cookies 😊 Bottom line is that I was disappointed upon arrival and immediately tried to change hotels but I was trapped in the Expedia nightmare…that part was obviously on me.

The room was nice and clean. The pool was extremely cold. The hot tub and the pool were very dirty, cloudy, with scum and foam around the edges of the hot tub. The breakfast buffet was luke warm, and way way way overpriced for very basic mediocre food. The coffee was also discusting.

First night air conditioner was not working that well so I thought I would give it a day or so because we were staying 3 days. I then called the next day. They offered to move us. We declined due to not having to pack up all of our suitcases to move just next door. They did try to get the air conditioner working better, but it still did not. It was not muggy in the room. The real bummer was hot tub and pool was closed. And that is one thing that I always book and try to do on our vacations, this was our third place to stay, and this was the only one that did not have everything working and we paid the most for this hotel, which I was a little discouraged. This was our week's vacation and this was our third place to stay so overall. It did not meet our expectations. They did offer a complimentary breakfast for 1 Day Out of the 3 days. We were stan due to the pool and hot tub being closed.I felt that they could have done a little bit more than that for the price of this hotel.

Front desk staff were friendly and great. Our particular rooms issue is that anytime the air went off or on it made this loud noise and it was so hot no matter what I put the thermostat on. Also the pool/hot tub were out of order and that was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. Room 305

I love that the property is pet friendly. The staff is pretty good. The room was clean. The carpet was worn out and needed to be replaced. The landscaping while maintained wasn’t in great shape. Overall, my stay was great.

This hotel was very conveniently located for our Christmas visit with family in the area. Even though it is an older property, it seems to have been renovated within the last few years. Our room was clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Morgan at the front desk was extremely kind and very helpful. The best feature of this hotel is the view of the front range on the Mountain View side of the building. Lastly, the hotel is very pet friendly and our dog had a wonderful stay.

Hot tub was gross and smelt like sewage, rooms were run down and had water damage and looked and smelled like a very old hotel that just got painted over, my tub never drained and complained about it twice and was never fixed, the bathrooms had no ventilation so you took one shower and the whole room was steaming hot, I ’m completely disappointed the pictures look nothing like the actual hotel and my stay was horrible to say the least.

Although recently "renovated", this property has gone downhill with respect to the cleanliness, customer service, restaurant food quality, and property condition. Some of the staff was friendly and polite, but others were not. Also, the rooms are only partially renovated, and we did not see security on the property during our 5-day stay.

My first room I checked into was not cleaned, the beds were not even made up, soap was out of the box. My 2nd room had flooding so they had to switch me to a 3rd room. I noticed all 3 rooms had drainage issues, water damage on the ceilings, stains on sheets and towels, poor lighting. The hotel lobby and restaurant are very nice but the rooms are in bad shape.

Our stay was comfortable and the room was much larger than expected. Comfortable bed and pillows. A bit bare bones on decor and ambiance of the room, plus the bathroom was kind of outdated. Tub looked worn, as did countertop and the tiles on the base. Wish the lighting had been better and a full length mirror had been hung in the main area, not just in the bathroom!

I liked this hotel except for 2 things. Their cooling system is a swamp cooler so my room never got cold, only cool and humid. And the room didn't have a microwave. I won't be staying again because I need a true air conditioner, not a swamp cooler.

Everything about this hotel is five stars…except one crucial detail…the A/C in the rooms are garbage. Our initial room was miserable, after two hours with the stat on 60, I was still sweating. Moved to a second room, which was much better, but still not comfortable. The rooms have individual units that I’m guessing to be some type of water-cooled system. If you like to sleep with a room temp 65-70, don’t stay here. Especially in August.

My main complaint is the free way noise! It kept me up ALL night. There was never a time it wasn’t busy, and people would revv their engines, waking us up all throughout the night. It was honestly a pretty decent hotel other than that! The common areas were beautiful, the room was pretty good, but lacked a lot of amenities and seemed bare. The room ran very very hot. Has to turn the air down to 60 and open a window for it to be bearable.

Bed was comfortable. Check-in fine. Clean. Quiet on 2nd floor. Negatives: could not regulate temperature. It never warmed up, still cold at 78 degrees on thermostat. Not enough blankets. Double queen room, but only 1 chair, the desk chair. Quite stark. No microwave. Key wouldn't open the back door closest to stairs even at 6:30 p.m. The stock photos do NOT show this property.

I loved the fresh baked cookies! Good location for me to meet with family and friends. Room was cold and air vent only produced more cool/cold air. Rooms that are located in back deal with a lot of street noise!!

I checked in at 5pm for my king suite room I paid for when I was told they did not have that room I was put in a regular king room with a view of the parking lot and I was supposed to have a view of the beautiful mountains when I got to my room and realized that I didn’t get anything I had paid for I called the front seat and was told again they didn’t have the room I paid for so the clerk offered to comp a dinner I agreed and ordered dinner! When I woke up the front seat called to say I had a balance from the night before dinner I explained what happened and was told that was not what the clerk told them! I ended up paying the amount due because it’s not worth arguing about! I feel like because I went through a third party I was given a basic room with a basic explanation that they didn’t have any other rooms available but on top of that I was lied to about making it right and ending up paying more money to eat at their restaurant! The room itself isn’t terrible the toilet was running all night, like I ran to get far away from this place! Very unhappy and beware of the risk of third party reservations!

This hotel was very conveniently located for our Christmas visit with family in the area. Even though it is an older property, it seems to have been renovated within the last few years. Our room was clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Morgan at the front desk was extremely kind and very helpful. The best feature of this hotel is the view of the front range on the Mountain View side of the building. Lastly, the hotel is very pet friendly and our dog had a wonderful stay.

The front desk checkin was horrible when we arrived. I had 3 rooms booked, we were all supposed to be on the same floor and we were not, we prepaid our rooms and were told we did not and had to pay twice. That was fixed ultimately. We were able to move one of our rooms the next day but it was far far from our other 2 rooms. We were supposed to have had a cot in one of the rooms. We didn’t and told that they did not have cots. We found out later that they did have cots. The same desk clerk that did all of the above also charged us for extra bed sheets and pillows for a sofa bed in our room. She was the rudest person I have ever encountered at a Hilton. Ethan another desk clerk was great on the other hand and helped in every way he could. Otherwise rooms were great and pool was as well. Jean the desk clerk we first encountered when we arrived was unpleasant and caused a lot of issues where there shouldn’t have been any.

I booked a deluxe king room but was given two queen beds instead. Unfortunately, this was not what I reserved, and the experience did not meet my expectations. Since the reservation was made through a third-party site (Hotels.com), I was told the hotel didn’t have any king rooms available at check-in, even though my booking confirmed it. If you’re booking through a third party, I strongly recommend calling the hotel directly to confirm your room type in advance. Otherwise, you may end up with a different room than expected, which can be disappointing—especially for couples.

Stay was excellent. The room I book on Hotels.com was actually turned into a meeting room for that day's convention so there wasnt a bed in it when we got there. The front desk was waiting for us when we arrived, told us what had happened and upgraded our room. Also, since we had already purchase breakfast package, the hotel comped our dinner that night in their restaurant.

Have stayed at Double Tree in Denver and one of best stays at a hotel! This time not so much! Our A/C wasn’t working so told front desk about 8pm on 1st night. Said couldn’t change rooms cuz hotel was full. At 5am went to front desk and they sent up 2 fans and said the maintenance person would repair that morning. Was gone all day and returned later that night to still no A/C. Went to front desk and for some reason did not respond to service ticket. Tried to find us another room but nothing available. Told front desk very unhappy but checking out next morning. Very uncomfortable night again. Next morning went to front desk to check out and ask to speak to manager. Manager not in but did offer us free breakfast but were needing to get on the road. Said would have manager contact us when they got in. This is 5 days later and still no response to our complaint. Won’t stay at this Double tree ever again.

Front desk staff were rude at check in and throughout stay. No housekeeping on 2nd and 3rd night. Called front desk to request towels and was told they will up but never came. Room air conditioner did not work. Notified front desk. Never was repaired and the room was uncomfortably hot. Front desk was rude throughout. Disappointing compared to other double tree stays.

We arrived at 6pm to check in and were told that they didn’t have a room ready for us unless we wanted to switch the type of room from 2 queens to a king with pull out. This was not really a great option as we had 4 adults. They asked us to wait and gave us a $25 voucher that was only good for food in the restaurant. We waited the 30 minutes and were then asked to wait another 10 minutes because they had to change a light bulb. All of this was fine until we got to our room and it was warm so we turned the temp down. We left for a couple of hours and upon returning to the room it was still warm but cool air was coming out so we assumed it would get better. We also tried to use the food voucher but the restaurant was sold out of pizza and a couple other things. The room never cooled down and upon asking about it Sunday they told us they could switch us or give us fan. We took the fan because we were leaving for an event and did not have time to switch all of our things. If this had been just an issue with our room I could understand a little more however the other people we were with had the same thing and we were on the same floor. I stayed in a Double Tree 3 weeks prior in the Cherry Creek area and had a great experience, I was definitely disappointed in this location but will still stay with the Double Tree brand.

Very comfortable room and kind, helpful staff. Also very clean. Fruit-infused water in the lobby which I enjoyed every time I passed by. Also great breakfast buffet! Location great for travel between Denver and Boulder even without a car - short walk from US36 & Sheridan, but note that hotel is on the Boulder-bound side; Denver-bound side is slightly farther but accessible by ramp traversing the highway.

Staff is friendly and helpful, room was clean. They do have some renovations going on in the building right now. My only real complaint is that the windows aren't great so it can be pretty loud with the noise from the highway. Of course, the cookies are yummy though.

The room was very clean and the food was pretty good. The staff was nice and attentive. You only get 40 Chanel’s on tv. There’s no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The shower curtains always allow water to puddle up on the floor. Those are just little things though. I would stay there again.

Property is getting old and showing it’s age. Front desk checked me in but didn’t have record l checked in. They said l checked out. The restaurant was confused every morning x3 that my breakfast was included. The breakfast buffet was terrible. Never refilled it as it was emptied. The bacon wasn’t refilled, oatmeal was hard as a rock, french toast was stuck together, the juices were very watered down, took forever to get coffee. Dinner was ok but overpriced. The evening wait/bar staff were friendly and helpful.
