Motel 6-Everett, WA - South

The room keys did not work had to have security let you in the room every time you left. This was for all rooms in the hotel and had been that way for a week. The first room the bathroom was out of order was moved to a second lower quality room that did not have a microwave or a fridge. We were totally frustrated and kind of in a jam and were stuck to stay there. Totally unsatisfactory experience I am not happy

Hey its a Motel 6, so all I really want is a good nights sleep and a few decent bars nearby, like Cactus Moon Saloon. But, what stood out for me? It was really quiet. A lot of Motel 6 stays can feel like party central until 2 AM — this one has uniformed security roaming around all night — so the riff raff element is kept in check.

Staff was very nice but key card system was down so had to have staff let you into your room. Room smelled of smoke, tv was dark with weird big white spots in the screen. Not things I would usually complain about but for the price, I would expect a bit better.

Motel was evacuated for 24 hours. Hostage situation. Another night Woman banging on the door and window. Had to call security. The first time security came upstairs with her chihuahua in her arms. If you have a serious problem you’re better off calling the police. Office people are very friendly. The room was fine.

It doesnt matter about the area, its about the staff here. Yes there are problems like any area but the staff does everything they can to keep people safe and feeeling at ease. This includes security guards on shift from about 1pm until morning which I personally love. One just saved me from a group of people trying to smoke opioids in the laundry room while i was washing clothes. they monitor the property, they take out the trash when needed. all i need ill keep coming back as much as i need to

Staff was awesome. Fast and quick but very detailed check in. Safety checks are awesome kind of different but makes you feel safer and if I need anything they have been on top of it right away. Room was very clean. Thank you Ralph for such a very clean and welcoming room. My family will definitely be back to this location Everett south!!!

Room, was clean. Staff friendly. Property needs to implement parking permits, a lot of cars are there that are not lodging. Also be prepare to be waken up from random nocks on the door late at night. Was woken up 3 times by a very suspicious guy, needed to call front desk two times to take a look. Management needs to be in alert of who is wondering around property.

Terrible neighborhood. Dirty parking lot and lots of homeless people around. Concerned for my safety and vehicle. Will not ever stay there again

The front desk person was LOVELY but I was not comfortable with the fact that they dint have any room keys and security would have to let us into our room. Staff was very nice and courteous but the security issue was a deal break for me.

Needed a place that I could stay with my dogs. Not the greatest area overall. Had security during the day, but I didn’t see them during the night. Parking lots were well lit, but there was a lot of activity past midnight. Room was small and mattress was past due for replacement. I wouldn’t not stay here again, but being pet friendly is the biggest pro.

This place is absolutely horrible!!! It’s is very sketchy and there is drug dealing happing out of the rooms and parking lot. People smoking fentanyl outside my window. Room smelled like cat pee. At night it gets worse. Naked lady was walking around. Dog poop EVERYWHERE! Since the drug dealing is going on people come around and doing drugs everywhere. I left early and went to another place because of how unsafe it is.

Bed bugs in half the rooms

Very sketchy looking people around the property. The room was in rough condition and there was black mold along the wall behind the toilet.

The room was stinky, bed linen is dirty. There’re 3 flies when we came in to the room. I ask for the non smoking room but the room smelled like a smoke with a hint of pee😤 the bathroom was leaking from above, when we woke up in the morning our towel were wet bcs of the leaking.

This is one of the worst properties I’ve stayed in. It was filthy outside. Garbage and dog poop, and the rooms were rough. Our first room had cigarette burns in the sheets and stank like weed. Our second room smelled so awful of air freshener trying to mask something and the sink could not be turned on without spilling on the floor. This was an unbelievably aweful hotel and I can’t believe I paid for it.

We did not have a microwave or fridge as promised when booking through expedia. We were able to get moved ro a room that had one. In the new room they had not cleaned the floor or under the beds. We found cat food scattered under 1 bed from the previous traveler and bowls. We mentioned an awful smell. They sent someone to clean under rhe beds. The smell remained and we could not be in the room much. As we were checkjng out and gathering things we checked again under the beds. The cat food mess was gone. However, under the 2nd bed was a huge puddle of urine that had been there the whole stay causing the odor. We had specifically askedthem to clean rhis area when we first got to the room and then just figured it was an odor sunk in and permanent. Thisbstay was a health hazard as we were breathing in ammonia from catvurine and had notified the hotel of the smell and they had not cleaned under both beds. They refunded $70 of the 270ish that I paid. I would have never paid any money to stay in such deplorable conditions and should have been refunded all the fees. I had my 11 yr old and a friend with me. All 3 of us felt ill during the 3 night stay, 2 of the nights in the cat puddle room. We booked our last days in the area with a different hotel. We want to live!

Roaches

The bed is comfortable and seemed to be clean, but the room reeked of cigarette smoke and the highway noise is very close by. It's affordable and the parking lot is well lot. The staff were all nice, but it's not one of the nicer "updated" Motel 6 properties for sure. Just be realistic with your expectations and if cigarette smoke bothers you, go elsewhere.

Not all rooms come equipped with a fridge and microwave so if thats important you need to really look at the room details and make sure its available. The staff is really friendly but like any place you always have a few favorites. Kristina is the front desk/customer service manager and she works during the day; anything you need she will go out of her 12

There was no shampoo or body lotion so you needed to bring your own! Had to pay extra for microwave and refrigerator!

I liked the way the room felt clean but bummed out about having no fridge and no microwave.

Wi-Fi was down most of our stay. They did nothing to fix it or help the issue. But besides that everything else was fine.

Noisy

The gal that checked me in was amazing. She got me checked in quick after my long day of driving and BS with another motel. My room was ok, except there was a BROKEN METH PIPE outside my door. There was also a few “regulars” hanging around outside and one weirdo “cat called” my 16 year old daughter and asked if we wanted him to come hangout with us. I told the security guard walking the property and he said he would keep an eye on him. We didn’t see him again. On the 2nd night there (my key deactivated when I left the motel) while getting a new key there was a sheriff in the lobby looking at the video cameras because they had issues with 2 druggies in 2 of their rooms… on the 3rd day there I had to get a new key again and the front desk lady was super rude like upset that I had to get a new key:: very different than the original gal that checked me in. Other than that it was a good stay. The bathtub was dirty and had to be cleaned out before we could use it, the air conditioner didn’t blow very hard when on high but eventually it cooled off the room. There was no fridge or microwave or coffee maker in the room.. I thought ALL Motel 6 had those items.. so that sucked we really needed a fridge and microwave the blanket on the bed was extremely thin and the sheets were thin as well.. but I guess it’s better than no covers. The batteries were low in the remote control (I will let them know when I check out) it wasn’t a bad stay just wish they had a fridge and microwave.

This did the job for a one night stay. The walls were thin so you could hear a lot of outside noise. People were out roaming around at 1am and it was noisy. Cracks in the baseboards allowed for bugs to come in. There was a roach in the room.

The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and helpful. My room, though, at least to me, smelled like pet urine, and I know they allow pets. The gentleman at the front desk came to my room and said that it just smelled like cleaning products. I just stuck it out and used the deodorizer I have in my car. There was also no chair, or chairs, for the table and desk which made it difficult to work on my computer.

The desk clerk was very attentive and provided an excellent customer service.

Once again James made the check in process a wonderful experience. He really bent over backwards to help me out. Thanks so much James! See y’all again in the future for sure!

I did not like it at all. The staff was rude when I got there. I got harassed by the employee right off the bat. The room stunk and it was dirty. Just a horrible experience.

I wouldn’t say the property itself is anything different than surrounding Motel 6. BUT, the STAFF is awesome here! So many had me rolling with laughter, thanks for such an entertaining check in James! It was so much fun! Kristina thanks for always being so fun to talk to when I check in, definitely feels like greeting a friend. And Taylor she works so hard to be her best and it shows! The housekeepers are so sweet and quick with response. Krystal the GM is a hoot to talk to thanks for all your advice and help. Even loved the security team made me feel safe and each one was a pleasure to talk to! This is one GREAT team! Thank you everyone during one of the hardest times in my life you’ve been a definite bright spot!

Front desk people were great

Very bad customer service from Janette and her Co worker at the front office. Rooms are not ready to check in even around 4:30pm when you have made reservation months before and they should be expecting you. Poor environment. Room smelling of smoke. Homeless people all over the hotel. I saw one hotel window that have been tried to break in..

James the manager was so friendly and welcoming. I definitely will be staying here again the staff are amazing

we booked this motel because it was close to the things we needed to do. if I was going to return to the area, we would not stay there; dirty parking lot, people's belongings all over the place, drug dealing in front and back of motel, way too bright lights that literally kept us awake.

Friendly staff at check-in and location is right off the I5 which is convenient but also creates a noisy environment. Area around the hotel has a lot of litter and non-guests hanging out but overall it was a safe place to stay.

It is a good location close to the highway.

Despite the staff being friendly and helpful, there seem to be some long term clientele who are very loud at all hours. The area around the property is home to a large homeless population that openly walk through the hotel grounds at all hours despite the security presence. I really didn't feel safe parking my car in the lot but luckily there was no incident. Oj the plus side, it's near the freeway and countless amenities. The long term residents and homeless population really detract from the experience in a big way

The convenience. Close to highway. Walking distance to restaurants. Did not like the shady people hanging around. Criminal activity. Homeless people around the property.

This Motel has reasonable accommodation for the price paid staff are excellent friendly and parking was abundantly available location is great close to everything

Best prices around and good coffee at office

Always great service. Dependable coffee in the mornings served with a smile from Taylor and the rest of the AM crew is always a pleasant thing to look forward to!

James was especially helpful when checking us in, suggested multiple good restaurants close by. Room was small, but comfortable.

The staff was excellent and prompt. We felt extremely welcomed and appreciated their hospitality. The room was clean and on par with our expectations considering the price and everything worked like it should have. The area itself isn't exactly the greatest but I already knew where it was and what to expect but this is surrounded by several places to eat and get coffee along with a grocery store so really convenient for that.
