Sleep Inn West Valley City - Salt Lake City South

Made a late reservation due to a flight cancellation, so was happy just to have a bed to sleep in. Krystal was fabulous and set up an Uber ride for me from the airport since it was after hours for their airport shuttle.

If you're handicapped don't stay here. We ask for a first floor got a second floor they have no elevator so stay elsewhere

Just a cute motel like spot. No real amenities. Get a free waffle for breakfast

While on a road trip, one of our vehicle door windows was broken. Upon arrival I inquired if there was somewhere “safe” to park. Immediately the clerk quickly checked me in and proceeded to move the hotel shuttle van, allowing me to park right in front She assured me that they would do all they could to “watch” my vehicle so I could get a good night’s sleep. Why a kind gesture. I was able to rest and not worry about my vehicle. This displayed the highest level of customer service. I’m so grateful that I had chosen the Sleep Inn - the ideal location for sleep and rest.

Nice place and shuttle to the airport

Because we missed our flight connection we stayed here overnight. The hotel was fine, but the shuttle service provided was not. It was scary that the driver was very late threatening our ability to catch our makeup flight.

Property was fine hotel was clean, bedding and mattress was comfortable. Windows seriously need outside wash. NEED TO CLEARLY STATE IN THIS 3 STORY BUILDING THERE IS NO ELEVATOR ACCESS. MY HUSBAND USES A WALKER AND CANNOT CLIMB STAIRS. We reserved a 2 queen beds and learned it was on the 2nd floor. Then had to downgrade to a single double bed room because it was on the 1st floor and there was no discount given. Didn't set right with me.

The room was small and the bed was even smaller. The staff was friendly, but they said the beds are queens and they were actually full size. Didn’t get good sleep at all. To top it off there were no elevators had to lug all our stuff up and down stairs, craziness.

Priced like a Hampton, but just a local econo lodge. 1:45 wait for airport pick up and shuttle doesn’t start until 6:30 am . Bad choice that I will not make again!

This stay was not the best. People in the hotel were yelling at 11 at night. When trying to call the front desk. Nobody would pick the phone up. You cant even enter the side door unless its propped open. Also the rooms were still dirty when we checked in. The pillows werent even real pillows.

Cleaning staff stole a very sentimental wedding ring. Staff claimed to have never seen it and GM accused us of putting it in a pocket and loosing it. The front desk gentle was nice enough to allow us back in the room to look for it with no luck. We even went through our rooms trash that was collected and it was not there. The hotel is dated and not very clean. The room had stained/dirty bedding and we found an old fruit cup under the chair in our room.

This room was awful. Smelled like cat urine and the bathroom was dirty shower is slippery must use a mat not that you would want to shower in it.

Towels smelled, bed sheet was dirty, hair dryer didn’t work. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was not clean at all. It had a weird smell. There were some hair hanging from the light fixture in the bathroom. I went downstairs for breakfast and there were not hot items anymore. The lady said she was closing the breakfast at 8:30 and no cooking anymore. The breakfast was supposed to be done by 9am.

When I checked in, I was given a room key and walked into a room someone else was staying in. The bed was completely messed up, TV on and beer cans on the counter. When I finally got a room cigarette burn holes were in the sheet and it was dirty.

Blood and urine stained bedding.

The rooms was reasonably clean but the bathroom is pretty gross and the common areas smell and are in bad shape. Front desk staff was rude.

Wasn’t very clean. Sorry towel in the corner of the room from the previous guests… nasty.. hasn’t really been cleaned..

I gave 2 stars as the people there were really friendly. Traffic was awful, not their fault. Next time i will make sure any medical stuff is not on the same weekend as a big concert, my fault. Parking was great, I walk in and was greeted by a friendly female at the desk; I'm bad with names but she was great. I checked in, got my keys and went upstairs to my room. Tried the keys for about 5 or 6 minutes, went back down stairs...she fixed them and I went to go try again...took about 5 minutes but I finally got in. The comforter was dirty and the room looked a bit dingy as well. I went to shower and there were only 2 small towels, 2 rags and a floor towel. The water pressure was not very good and I couldn't figure out the showerhead setting without feeling like it was going to break. I struggle with getting to sleep and staying asleep normally and with the teip for health reasons my sleep was almost nonexistent, so I'm sure that had a role to play as well, but the mattress was so hard I felt like I was laying on concrete. The pillows however were very comfortable. I won't be staying there again.

Prices are really high for what you get and the rooms are very small

Rooms / hallways were outdated and in need of basic repairs. Sheets and bed were clean. Pillows were not the most comfortable. Shower/bathroom needs caulking and updated. Rooms felt humid even with A/C. A little overpriced for the facilities. If you need a quick late night place to sleep, sure. But if you need a facility for more than that, I would recommend a different hotel.

The beds we’re comfortable but the hotel could really use an upgrade.

Wifi wasn’t working properly, cheap and uncomfortable pillows. Also the mattress was so uncomfortable.

Walls between the rooms were too thin , we could hear the next room having sex for a long time , then they smoked week after in a non smoking room

The room had a funky smell. The window was open when we first came in probably because of the funky smell. The cleaning people didn’t take the trash out but the smell wasn’t from that. We kept the fan going throughout the night.

Scott could not check me in due to his personal phone call at 1:20 AM. We traveled all night after being in the heat all day. He wanted to have a conversation instead of doing his job. I waited over 15 minutes for him.

Front desk people, such a horrible attitude, completely unprofessional people, management should change the front desk people, for people who has the education professionalism to do such a work.

When checking in girl who helped us was awesome very nice and helpful the rooms very very clean and enjoyable but then when checking out front desk lady a little older was very rude and lacked any type of customer service my wife bad been very sick and was throwing up unfortunately we had to use their towels to clean up the mess from it i expected to pay for it out of my deposit and was totally fine with paying to replace the towels the front desk lady was extremely rude about the situation and told mei was not getting all of my deposit back because the towels had been destroyed and continued to give me the worst looks like we were such bad people I am very disappointed that our stay began ao grest but ended so terrible may or may not choose to stsy there again.

Walking up to the front desk lady was really nice. Checked us in really quick and gave us directions to the room, also told us where to get the morning breakfast. Staff was awsome!! Room was really clean they must have good housekeeping 😀 everything was really tidy bathroom was also very clean. Room had fridge, microwave, and a coffee pot. The only thing that was very concerning, it was 1@m and people outside our room where fighting and shouting at each other. We woke up and they were fighting over drugs. Hotel is great but if they are letting people like this stay there and do their deals . Its not a safe place for kids or anyone. We couldn’t sleep after that.

Booked this hotel because we were attending a conference at the Maverick Arena. It’s walking distance to the arena which was super convenient (didn’t have to fight arena traffic and parking!) It’s also walkable to a few restaurants and bars which is nice. Staff was friendly and huge bonus for us, they offer free shuttle transport to and from the airport. The rooms are definitely not luxurious or updated. Very outdated but overall pretty clean and bed was comfortable.

I'd pay more next time for a better location. Didn't feel safe.

While completely aware I booked a basic hotel, I did not expect sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot and in front of the alternate entrance.

We usually stay at a hotel across the street, but it was sold out. Well I'm glad it was because this hotel is a hidden gem. It's in just as convenient of a location for a much better price and with way more comfortable beds! Will 100% be staying here again!

Could not be a more affordable location close to shopping and lots of restaurant chains in walking distance.

It was an okay property. They can work on their cleaning. The breakfast is low grade.

Very good breakfast. To keep your environmentally friendly policy, I strongly suggest to quit serving plastic eating utensils which fill up our land fills and do not decompose. There are many other options. Thank you

I liked the management and staff, very friendly. Beds were comfy, rooms were clean. Breakfast was good but tiring having same food choices day after day. It would have been nice to have a mixture of choices. Would be good to have hard boiled eggs as well. Also it would be nice to have coffee offered throughout entire day.

It was a terrible experience, we wanted to leave as soon as we entered that room, there was black mold in the shower and the bathroom was not properly clean, the room smelled like humidity and i got food poison from the "breakfast included" NEVER AGAIN please dont do that to yourself

Clean and quiet hotel, coffee and breakfast are very good, and there is an airport shuttle. It will be the first choice next time
