First of all, I had to give a $50 cash deposit that was never mentioned. Who carries cash? It needs renovation badly. Much darker and very cheap looking so ignore the photos on here. There was a cockroach in our bathroom. The outdated fan system didn’t work so it was hot and stuffy. The elevator was broken. Definitely not even worth the inexpensive price I paid.

Parking was very limited if you arrived after 9:00pm. Air conditioning in the room was either extremely cold or humid and hot. The bathtub was dirty, and when we arrived there were no towels in the bathroom. Had to go ask for them at 10:30pm. Also, there was no remote control in the room. We didn’t really need it the first night, as we arrived fairly late, but the second night we went to the front and asked for a remote, they said they would have to bring one down. They never came, so we never got the tv on or working. Breakfast area is EXTREMELY small, so either you take it to go in your room or hope it’s not very crowded. Overall, I can see why it was one of the cheapest hotels in the area. Not a great experience.

So this place decided to fill their pool which happens to be in the parking lot in with dirt and did not have any kind of warning signs or cones or anything else to let you know. Our vehicle ended up stuck in the pool and the motel manager refused to do anything about the situation to help us out. I will make sure everyone I know that is planning a trip to Denton Texas knows not to stay here

The online representation of this hotel is far from accurate. There is hardly any parking close to an entrance, there is trash and road construction mess inside and all over the front parking lot. The elevator is VERY noisy (I was in a room at the very end of the hallway and elevator is in the middle of 60ish rooms - 30ish on each side and I could hear the elevator going up and down, door opening and slamming), the floor in the hallway is very uneven and cracks/squeaks, the WiFi signal is weak in room but said to be fine in the lobby however there's only seating in the lobby for 4 very small people. There is vending machines by the lobby but they don’t cool the drinks inside. Hairdryer in room was broken, only 1 of the lamps worked for light but 3 of the wall outlets didn’t work nor did the lamp outlets. The hotel amenities and room were not worth the amount I paid for the 2 nights I stayed. There was no other option to change hotels due to gymnastics and dance competitions being held on the same weekend, and I paid for both nights upfront which hotel management would not refund for me to attempt to find a hotel further away from where I needed to be during the days. Very disappointed.

I have pictures of blood on my curtains in my room. It was hot in the lobby and hallways. The A/C in the room wasn't had one speed and it didn't cool until at night. Only 1 roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. Had to ask for new towels on the second night they didn't clean the room. There were signs for the pool area but no pool.

The pictures of the property make it look way nicer than it is. Very small spaces all around. Breakfast area was cramped, small, and dirty. Floor sounded like parts were broke as you walk. Some parts are uneven. Staff was not helpful at all. When checking in they said nothing about breakfast time or checkout time. Elevator was awful! Sounds awful and super small. Door opened before we fully go to the floor we were going to. Made lots of metal clanking noises.

The shower was disgusting. Looks like it hadn’t been cleaned in years, the towels were stained, toilet seat was loose, the sink had a very slow drain, and the blinds were torn. Would not recommend unless you are 100% desperate.

This hotel had the worse odor I have ever smelled in my life. It was like a mixture of mildew, mold and musk. Upon check in the room didn’t have any towels in it and the vending machines were all out of order and they had like warm bottles of water for sale behind the counter. Not once during the entire stay did housekeeping check to see if we needed anything. And every night the hotel parking lot had people outside having a party drinking in the parking lot.

The room was so dirty someone’s previous socks and undies were still in the room along with candy stuck to the floor. The bed is terrible like sleeping on a box spring. And the smell of the hotel was unpleasant. The only thing they did good at was the breakfast

The property is run down. Elevator doors open before Elevator stops on your floor. Had to hold the toilet handle down in orser to flush properly. The pull up knob from shower faucet was broken so water pours out of it causing shower not to drain properly. TV kept freezing and picture would pixelate.

Bed springs were broken on one side. Had to stuff towels under mattress to level it out and not fall out of bed. Not enough extra wash cloths and had towels for 2 people. Only enough coffee for 1 cup. Sitting chair needs cushion. Too low to sit in comfortably.

Had a few issues. Remote for tv didn’t work so had to move to another room. Only 2 bath towels in the bathroom. No hand towels or wash cloths. Bedside light did not work. No napkins in the dining area at breakfast. We didn’t make a fuss but will not stay there again.

I didn’t appreciate the harassment I received for having a service animal. She had to call her boss so if you do have a service animal, I wouldn’t stay there.

When I arrived I got told I had to put down a $100 deposit (which I never saw on online when I booked the room). So I told the girl what for. She said if there are any damages to the room etc. I said I didn't have $100 on myself. She said oh there's a ATM right over there. I guess she didn't want me leaving to go get cash somewhere. So I went to the ATM over by the ice machine. I didn't like doing that because it charged me $3.95 to get cash out of there. It would of been better if I was able to leave and go get cash at an actual ATM where I bank so I wouldn't of gotten charged the fee for using theirs. I don't think I would choose to stay at that location again.

My issue with staying at the hotel with there was a $50 cash deposit cash and I had stayed at this location before and had not ever had to pay a cash deposit previously. To use an ATM charge you withdraw money if you do not have cash and that is not refunded Back.

They insisted we pay $100 cash deposit for incidentals before checking in. I’ve always had a card on file for incidentals but was not going to give them $100 cash. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels and never been asked to pay cash deposit for incidentals. And then how does checkout work and getting the money back? We have to wait on them to clean the room and audit it before getting it back?? How stupid is that? So because I wouldn’t pay a cash deposit they cancelled my reservation. Totally unscrupulous and unprofessional business practices.

When booking, I chose this place because of the reviews and the rates. I knew this wouldn't be a five-star Hilton hotel, but I figured it would be fine for the few days we would be in town. I knew this place would look/ feel cheaper than most hotels, which is fine. My issue was the hospitality of the staff. You would think people in the hospitality business would prioritize this, but I guess not? Maybe it was a cultural difference? I'm not sure, but what I do know is that the staff was cold/ stand-offish, and honestly just kind of rude. Every single day of our stay, our keys would have to be reset because they would stop working. The staff was annoyed with us for asking for towels, and when I went to the front desk to ask again, she told me no, that I had enough towels already (we had 2, and there were 3 of us in the room). The staff was annoyed in the morning with other guests who were requesting breakfast items from the breakfast area. In all honesty, it just seemed like they hated their job at the hotel, like they hated the hotel, and like they hated their life.... that was the vibe they gave off and it sucked! I've worked at a low-rate hotel before; being kind and generous with your clientele and guests costs nothing. That's what makes a difference between a bad and a great experience. That's what ensures people will return again in the future.

When we arrived, the person who checked us in said we had to leave a deposit "in cash" for the room. I had to leave to go get it because who carries fifty to one hundred in cash on them anymore? Then when we checked out, the person checked me out and was like, "bye." Had I not asked for my deposit back, he would not have given it and there was no record of a deposit since it was in cash and not on my card. This seems super shady to me and I will NOT be returning to this hotel. Although other hotels in the area are a more expensive, I will choose that over this any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

Denton had construction going on in the front of your property rendering about 4 spaces where no one should park yet someone parked in a space and disappeared. the inn had no idea whose vehicle it was i complained several times and said they should have the police come in and investigate that vehicle. I believe it was a hazard and could prevent emergency vehicles from access.

The room was clean but a little dingy. They made me pull $100 cash out of the atm for a deposit for the room. That wasnt stated anywhere in any policy. It was given back the next day. Parking was very limited if you arrived after 9:00pm. Air conditioning in the room was either extremely cold or humid and hot. The bathtub was dirty, and when we arrived there were no towels in the bathroom. Had to go ask for them at 10:30pm. Also, there was no remote control in the room. We didn’t really need it the first night, as we arrived fairly late, but the second night we went to the front and asked for a remote, they said they would have to bring one down. They never came, so we never got the tv on or working. Breakfast area is EXTREMELY small, so either you take it to go in your room or hope it’s not very crowded. Overall, I can see why it was one of the cheapest hotels in the area. Not a great experience.

Bathroom smelled of mold, Bathroom also had a weird popping sound when you turned off the light. Beds felt like rubber toddler beds and crunched when you moved. Walls are paper thin can hearing everything around you. Breakfast was not bad small but had enough variety so that was the best part of the stay.

The room was so dirty someone’s previous socks and undies were still in the room along with candy stuck to the floor. The bed is terrible like sleeping on a box spring. And the smell of the hotel was unpleasant. The only thing they did good at was the breakfast

The hotel doesn’t look like the photos. Room is basic. I did ask to have wash cloths replaced as they had mascara stains. I was told they did not have any and those would have to be washed again. Never received replacements.
