Staybridge Suites - Denton by IHG

They have clean rooms with fridge, microwave, TV Wi-Fi, swimming pool, great breakfast eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy. Waffle maker, juice, milk & cereal. Kind of high but it was listed near the area I wanted to be in & I paid for the reservation & check in through the Expedia app. I paid & went to check-in & I got some rest & relaxation instead of burning gas running through heavy traffic.

Good stay, hotel was great, the only downer was limited parking and the area around the hotel was not the best

The only thing was the gym I can’t open the door to go in

Too expensive for one night with pets. Two small dogs cost an extra $169 for just one night! Otherwise great place

I am very frustrated. When we got the the Hotel, I informed them we have 2 small dogs. I knew there would be an additional charge, but not sure how much. The place we stayed prior was $20 extra. The person at the front desk said there is a $20 pet incidental fee and I said ok. We continued to check in no problem. Got the keys and went to unload. We were walking out and the front desk person stated he forgot to have me sign some papers. No big deal. One of them was the pet policy. He pointed me where to sign and that was that. I didn’t think anything because he had already told me the charge was an extra $20. At checkout I received a receipt for the additional pet charge and again didn’t look at it or think anything about it because the guy told me $20. About 2 hours down the road I pulled the receipt out and they charged me $125 plus tax for the pet fee! WHAT?!? That was more than what I paid for the room itself. I immediately called the hotel and they argued with me and stated I signed the pet policy. I tried to explain to her that the charge I was verbally told was $20 for the pet fee. She wouldn’t listen to me. Just said I would have to talk to a manager and took my number. Still haven’t heard from them…5 hours later. Very Disappointed with how this transpired. I feel they owe me a refund since the communication was not clear and they told me $20. Which btw, the lady that I called said the $20 was for incidentals! WHAT?! ON TOP OF THE $125!

Thirty minute check in. And fire alarm goes off a six am

Place is clean,quiet, good breakfast, only thing that the place needs is upgraded Its on the older side but we have now stayed the 3 timwes in the last 3 years because it is clean , quiet and good breakfast Just needs upgraded

Great stay! Good breakfast, clean rooms, comfortable beds, good location. All staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Nice pool area! The family had a wonderful time!

No ice machine

I took my neices and nephew as a mini vacation for them before school starts. The pool was great.. they had 2 propane grills we used for our meals.. and the mall was across the street for easy access for school shopping. They had a great time as we have a multi-room suite and there was plenty of room for all of us.

They had roaches!!

Air duct vents were dirty. Shower area could use some maintenance, tile separating from the wall and base.

A nice greeting from the front desk when we arrived, swift check-in, and easy onsite parking included. Unfortunately, there were German cockroaches in our bathroom and kitchen area, so we were a little paranoid about that the entire stay. The bedding was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was massive. There were some aspects of the room that needed repair (base boards missing, etc). Decent location, easy on-off to highway and quick access to downtown and loop 288 shops. Overall, a little pricey for what we experienced.

You can tell someone threw up in the restroom in our room and wasn’t well cleaned

I loved the location. Mr first impression was great. After a few hours and the next morning we found roaches in the room.

Very clean, smelled fresh. Great assortment for the breakfast buffet. The room was immaculate, loved the kitchenette, would be perfect for an extended stay in the future. The best touch is real dishes. Only complaint if I had to find one was the lack of ice but the staff was kind enough to get me some from the kitchen

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Amenities and options for 2 bedroom suits. Woke up to cockroaches in the bathroom and kitchen area. Recommend pest control.

It was a quick overnight stay. Checked in at 8pm and out the door by 430am but that short stay told me everything i needed to know. I was traveling by myself and felt safe. Room was spotless, bed & pillows were comfy, riom was roomy and bathroom was very clean too. They supply bathroom with dove body wash, dove shampoo & conditioner so if you firget your supplies like i did they got you covered. This will be my new place to stay when im in this area.

We were in town to see family and thoroughly enjoyed the comfort and convenience of the one-bedroom suite. Very spacious, it felt like an apartment rather than a hotel room. The breakfast buffet was impressive, lots of options including for those who are watching their diet. Staff were friendly and attentive, location was ideal in that it was close to restuarants and shopping but tucked away from the main thoroughfare. No doubt this will be my go-to in Denton - highly recommend.

Huge rooms and a really large bathroom area made it feel like home. Nice to have a standard-size refrigerator instead of the dorm-room size that many hotels have. Comfortable beds and plenty of space to walk around them. Next time I am in town, this will be my first choice as a place to stay.

This hotel worked but was nothing outstanding. Walls were very thin - a lot of hallway noise and we could clearly hear conversations going on the room next to us, which made it difficult to sleep. The initial staff member who checked us in was not dressed professionally and was not very personable, however every other staff member we dealt with afterwards, was very friendly. Breakfast was enjoyable and the dining area was kept clean. Bedroom was decent and spacious, not the most cleanly room but not too bad. The bed was comfortable, but some usb plugs were broken. All in all, it was a functional place to sleep but I wouldn’t be enthusiastic about recommending it.

We stayed for 3 days and everything is great, breakfast is great you have variety. Room is spacious and quiet, my kids enjoyed their stay.

I spent $130 for a night in a room here and I couldn’t control the AC so I sweat all night I even went to the front desk and told the lady and she said she would tell maintenance and let me know something and I never heard another word. Other than that, the place was nice, but the AC was a dealbreaker. I don’t ever wanna go through that again. I was very uncomfortable.

The hotel and room were nice and clean. The bed on the other hand was horribly hard. We had a hard time getting to sleep, and woke up with several aches and pains. We feel the room and hotel wasn’t worth the price charged for the stay.

The room we had had a full kitchen, minus a dishwasher, and a living area with a separate bedroom. It was much more than we expected and my wife and I really were surprised. It was like an apartment, and there were two TVs which was also different.

Room smelled damp. The pull out couch is a joke. Weird grinding sount coming out of vent all night. Front desk attend unfriendly. Never again!

Tabitha who is the manager called me and was rude and condescending when I told her it was fraudulent not to reimburse me with hotel credit or refund due to car issues and being contagious due to a urinary tract infection treated by Baylor Scott Urgent Care in Frisco and Memorial Hospital ER in Las Cruces. Tabitha called and personally harassed me.

The hotel is in a great location. Every thing you could possibly want or need is within a mile. Shopping, food, car wash, post office, urgent care, it’s all there. There’s even a bowling alley next door. Our problem came in the form of roaches in the kitchen. I called the receptionist the morning we discovered them and she told me someone would be up as soon as housekeeping arrived. Never happened. I took a picture and we went out. They can in and changed the towels but never even moved the roaches. We called again that evening and someone brought up a can of spray. Never came into the room to look or say I’m sorry this is happening. I hate this happened because it’s really a nice hotel in a great location and this could have been a one time occurrence.

My Place to stay every time I go visit my daughter in college. Excellent Hotel love the Customer Service everyone who works there is so nice and polite.

Stayed for two nights and enjoyed a nice clean room, comfortable bed, quiet surroundings, and helpful staff support. There is everything you could possibly need nearby, shops restaurants and more.Highly recommend it.

The staff was amazing! Flexible with my checkout time as i had a baby and snow! One of the best stays i have had and I travel often! Keep up the good work!

The hotel is very good and comfortable. I'll be using this location again. The only thing was it took about 30 min to do checking. The lady at the counter was friendly but needed help, she was doing multiple registrations on a couple of people ahead of me. If she had help, the check-in would have been smoother.

Wow! My stay was so wonderful. I’ve previously lived in Denton, and visit pretty regularly but I’ve never noticed this quaint, tucked away hotel. It’s a quiet location, despite being so close to many stores and the freeway, the staff was friendly, and parking was plentiful. Our room had everything you could need, although we didn’t take advantage of much of it, due to being mostly out around the town. Before checking out we had the most amazing breakfast. Originally, I planned to only have coffee but the available items were so exciting, I ended up having biscuits and gravy and yogurt with fresh (giant) blueberries, strawberries and granola! There were other toppings available to make an egg scramble as well. They also had cereal, bagels, toast, waffle maker and some other hot foods like eggs and sausage links. I was impressed. Additional they have multiple juice options. The woman who tends to the buffet was very attentive and friendly. She made sure all of our needs were met and we were satisfied with our breakfast. I was not expecting that! It was lovely and I plan to come back and only stay here in the future!

Not in a great area. Limited eating amenities close by. Hotel itself was fine.

I like the location

Came for a solo trip. This is an ideal location if you want to be close to everything. Quiet, comfortable and smelled good. I will definitely stay here again.

Hotel is located behind the mall and shopping centers and food were all on easy to get to roads. You did not have to leave the area once you arrived which is nice in such big places such as the DFW area.

Great location for us for an event. Suite was perfect for extended family. Conveniently located to everything we needed. Not walkable given the heat / mainly concrete with mall/ stores in the area. Staff were very hemlock and polite.

Hotel was very clean and quiet. The location was great, lots of shopping available.

Property was convenient for visiting the UNT campus.

No extra covers, the restroom door would get stuck had to struggle to open it. The breakfast was horrible almost first ones down and no waffle mix. There was gravy and no biscuits they said there was none so I don’t understand why they put gravy out. The eggs were super runny very liquidy. Not a good experience. I will not be back!

Weekend breakfast opening earlier, hotel needs renovation - ie. Torn couch cushions, tile flooring chipped, just overall old and not maintained great. Ok for our stay but would not book here again

The continental breakfast was awful. One morning, we witnessed a child eating directly from the yogurt bowl. Please get single serve yogurt options. The last morning the hotel was very full and did not have enough food. Unfortunately, we stayed in a hotel to take advantage of the breakfast. Very dissatisfied.
