My husband and son stayed at the hotel to To break the trip to Cornwall. There was burning smell in the hotel and had apparently been a small fire in the upstairs restaurant so none of the lifts were working. However they had a second floor room so not much inconvenience. Overall stay was good and didn’t spoil it. Room was clean and breakfast good. Considering the fire my husband said the staff coped very well

Enjoyed our stay. Lovely clean rooms. Nice staff. Paid but convenient parking. Breakfast was very busy and took a while to find a cleared table - there were many with dirty dishes etc left on many tables not being cleared. There was a poster in the lift advising of busy periods for breakfast and we were there at the busiest period. We would stay again.

Lovely hotel overall 2 negative points is one the breakfast availability as every day food ran out and very slow reaction to refills so you had finished before more available. Secondly the hotel appeared to be very focussed on sustainability but a bit far with the lifts . Seems a new hotel but 2 lifts always turned off so only one working at anytime which stopped working one day so saw people dragging suitcases up 5 flights . I get trying to save electric but why build a hotel with 3 lifts as it's counterproductive.

Nice location right off the M5, next door to the Exeter Chief’s ground. Lots of car parking space albeit a £12 overnight charge. POD Point chargers on site at £0.40p per kWh. Just 2 minutes from the main Exeter services too. Plenty of Tesla points there. Restaurant & Bar on the 8th floor giving some great views of the surrounding area. David Lloyd gym on the same estate too. Still very new and a great facility.

Hotel was convenient and organised. Parking costs are additional. Room fine, bedding and bathroom new and good quality. Two out of three lifts not working but thankfully WiFi working after my last visit when it wasn’t!

Hotel is clearly quite new, all very modern, Rooms were spacious and equipped with plenty of charging points. Big TV with casting options. Bar, gym and restaurant all looked good but didn’t use any. Plenty of EV charging available, and only a short taxi ride in Exeter city centre.

Excellent hotel with a stunning rooftop bar with lovely panoramic views. Great place to enjoy a drink on a hot sunny evening. Very comfortable beds with a great nights sleep and the only down side is that the hotel doesn’t do room service. Very good stay though

Standards are dropping here…stayed here many times but this time it wasn’t great Room was dusty, tops dirty Service in bar was slow and lax. I had the “ultimate burger” …was probably the worst,sloppiest meat I’d had in years Overall a serious slip from what has been a great hotel

Stayed at the courtyard hotel at Sandy park Exeter. Room (405) smelt of poo 💩, it was disgusting. Initially we dropped our bags and went out. Returning at 21:15. The room and especially the bathroom was putrid. Disgusting smell. We were moved and given complimentary drink voucher. However despite being moved to a suite, the damage was done, it spoilt our stay and hence my low star rating review

Lovely hotel but had a few issues. Heating was broken in the room. Quickly corrected by moving us to a new room, but the heating wasn’t working in that one either. No drama as the staff were brilliant. Restaurant was not very good and over priced on some dishes. I had the steak cooked pink. It didn’t look nice, almost veal , very pale and anaemic and not much flavour. Nothing to really complain about just mot worth the money. Soup was nice, and the burger was nice. Breakfast was plentiful and tasted nice quality. I’d happily stay again just be more selective about what I order. Also, no soap in the restaurant toilets and no conditioner in the room.

Nice room Very new and shiny. But when we woke up in the morning there was a horrid very strong smell of sewage coming from the toilet area. It spoilt our stay. Reported it to reception. I hope this is sorted as that is unacceptable and spoilt a nice stay. We were on first floor

The breakfast was great, check in good, but no hairdryer. No bottled water. On floor 4 someone had left a dirty towel & a pillow in the corridor when I checked in at 4.45 pm yesterday. It was still there when I checked out at 8.30 this morning. Expect more for the price.

We had an enjoyable 1 night stay in the interconnecting family rooms with the breakfast and all was lovely. Check in was warm and welcoming, all info needed re parkimg and restaurants etc dealt with easily. Rooms were very nice and showers strong and hot (only mark down would be not having the frosted glass for the bathroom as when in there whoever is in the bedroom can although its more a shadow can still see what youre up to!!!) Beds were comfortable, tv channels fine, drink making facilities fine (though a comp bottle of water would be a good touch) Breakfast was very tasty with lots of options and plenty of it We would recommend and also would stay again if ever down in Exeter

Chose the hotel as we were going to Sandy Park for the rugby. Excellent location and not hugely expensive which was a bonus. Food, service and room were excellent. Only tiny niggle was chairs being repositioned in the restaurant two floors above our room at 7am.....noise transmitted right through the structure.

Room was of good size, clean, quiet and comfortable. Bed one of the most comfortable I've slept on. Located in an estate outside Exeter city, it is a good value stay on a road trip. Staff pleasant and helpful. Pros: - quiet - rooms clean and comfortable - food was good value and bar served great Guinness Cons: - parking cost - Wifi awful - no room service

A lovely hotel, reception and conduct of staff. The title of the rooms suggests opulence, but they are quite ordinary. There being no open-able wondoelws resukts in noise from the ventilation - on always! 😞 I liked the setting, but frustrated too!

Do not recommend room 727. Directly under the kitchen of the restaurant on 8th floor. Constant scraping across the floor above and crashing and rolling noises. Very noisy room.

Staff Great Room was very clean. Room too warn and air con didn't seem to coll the room down and unable to adjust low enough. Toilet flush needs adjustment.

There was a mix up at check in, where somebody else had been previously checked into our room ~ hence when we came to check in, no booking was in the system… the receptionists managed to get to the bottom of it, & resolve the issue as well as offering us a drinks voucher for the inconvenience. Was a small issue in the end, but the staff dealt with it really well

Staffs are very nice and friendly. My son had hives on Monday nite and they were kind enough to call a taxi for us to Wonford Hospital. Meanwhile, they helped us to check out the waiting time at the hospital etc

Check in was very busy and there was a delay but the staff were exceptional and dealt with everyone in such a friendly way. The rooms are large and comfortable and despite being near the motorway are very quiet. There’s a small area to purchase snacks ( to eat in the room) but the restaurant has great views up on the 8th floor and I’d suggest eating in there.

We liked the hotel and the staff were friendly. The food was very good both in the dining room and for breakfast. It is very confusing to find the parking area however and the website should be clearer in how to get there. The hotel uses the parking lot at the rugby stadium next door and it costs 12 pounds per evening. It is a very circuitous route to actually enter it however.

The room was tastefully decorated, and everything was just in the perfect place - it makes a difference !! Staff were all very very helpful and polite. Very convenient location too being just off the motorway - surprisingly with still no noise pollution.

Well located for Sandy Park. Staff very welcoming and efficient. Resolved some issues we had during the booking process and talked through the details of the room. It was particularly refreshing to find a socket next to the mirror and USB sockets next to the bed.

Stayed here for the rugby at Sandy Park. The hotel is perfectly placed for that, just across the car park and you are in the ground

Zircon in the room didn’t work and with way to open the windows resulted in a very stuffy and uncomfortable night At breakfast most of the food in the buffet was swimming in oil, and the fried eggs are cold and like leather I prefer my eggs hot and room cool, unfortunately I got the reverse

Excellent hotel for a stop over. staff very helpful and friendly, food was excellent (especially breakfast) and all reasonably priced. The hotel is next to a Rugby stadium with not a lot else around. Great views from the bar and restaurant.

Food quality did not match the rest of the hotel and was sub standard. This was a shame as everything else was great. Managemt really needs to address this as after an initial bad meal and average breakfast we ate outside of the hotel and found much better restaurants.

This hotel is clean and crisp. Bedrooms and public rooms are corporate in style . Decor is rather dull - with a lot grey. Staff service in restaurant, bar and reception was good . The setting is not very attractive as the hotel is approached via vast car park and a covered pedestrian way. The location is convenient for the M5 motorway . Food is reasonable fort for this sort of holdall. The top floor restaurant has extensive views and live music in the bar - this is the hotels stand out feature
