Very helpful staff, especially all reception staff we spoke to. Car parking available which is a bonus. However it was payable on site £15.50 per night which I hadnt noticed when I booked hotel. Close to city centre about 15 minute walk. We went AO Arena which was also 15 minutes away so very handy.

Stayed for 5 nights while my son was on a residential summer course locally. Hotel is well located a short walk into the centre of manchester. The room I was allocated was spacious and well appointed. Bathroom was fairly new. Staff were great, very welcoming and responded quickly to requests. My room didnt have aircon which probably is rarely needed with the local climate, I just happened to be there the hottest week of the year ! Internet was strong and I worked at the hotel during the day, video calls etc, with no issues whatsoever. Car park is run by an outside contractor, Ringo, which has a good app but you need to be careful when selecting the date you want the parking to start on the app. 15 a night isnt cheap but the carpark was secure and right next to the hotel so peace of mind. All in all, I’d stay again.

This was our second stay at the hotel. Location is convenient, about 10 minutes walk to Manchester city centre. On-site parking is reasonably priced and secure, despite a few broken glass bottle on the floor. Pay at counter option is slightly cheaper than using the App, at £14.5 for 24 hours so you can leave your car there after checking out from the hotel. The room is spacious. The only catch I would say is the lack of door for the bathroom (shower / bath tub), which might not work very well for some travellers.

Before I start, I do have to say the staff were all very polite and friendly. Ok, this place is billed as 4 star but that has to be purely a technicality - there is no way on earth this should be described a a four star hotel. Maybe a hostel? There is no bar - the hotels.com website is incorrect. There's freezer full if pizzas and a microwave in the foyer - draw your own conclusions. There is no air-conditioning - anywhere Housekeeping visits only once every three days (buried in the small print) The "deluxe" suite had a small double bed of very dubious quality not the king mentioned on the site. Shower water pressure is poor. Neither of us slept well at all and although the hotel is on the "inexpensive" side, better value can be found in budget hotels and only a few GBP more will get you into a real four-star hotel.

Overall the hotel was ok. Little noisy, could here the blinds being closed in next room, thankfully they did not put the tv on. The corridor carpets are ruined, but I guess thats down to inconsiderate guests. The room was mostly clean quite a lot of dust about, mold on bath tiles and green gunge in the bottom of the shower panel. This was once a very nice hotel Breakfast - This is the UK, where was the bacon? The turkey rashers were rank. This woke act alone would prevent me stayng here again The reception staff and the two ladies at breakfast were great. Need to have a word with your cleaner. I pulled the shower panel strip off into the bath hoping she gets the hint for the next occupants.

The carpets were very badly stained, desperately need replacing or at least a very good industrial clean. Booked a double room for myself and my teenage daughter as there were no twins available at the time, wasn't a problem we don't mind sharing. But no door on the bathroom was a bit too far for a self conscious teen... don't assume it's always going to be couples in a double, and even then sometimes a bit a privacy is wanted...a nice industrial looking door on runners would look 👌

I was fairly satisfied with the room, I liked the high ceilings and large floor plan. However, there were stains on the carpet in the hallway (and in my room), on some of the blankets and linens, and some rubbish on the floor. It did not feel like it had been cleaned very well between guests.

Room smelt of cigarettes - had to wash all clothes that were even just worn in the room becuae of the smell. Only one small fan on a very hot day (no air con in room) and window barely opened.

Brianne on reception went above and beyond to accommodate our early arrival . She also spotted that I was walking with crutches and changed our room to one with a wet room . Marvellous customer service . The room was excellent . Spotlessly clean and well equipt .

Room was pretty cosy but very warm. Ground floor so window wouldn't open at all. Would hate to stay here in summer! Bed and pillows were quite soft and squishy too which wasn't ideal. Also the bath was very high so took a bit of climbing to get in when you're 5'2... Service was good though - it was sufficient for one night.

Great price to stay on the edge of Manchester city centre. Value and secure parking on site. Professional staff. I opted for a basic room which was very large. No window in the room but that meant no external noise, so a very peaceful sleep. I would stay here again.

There are some cheaper rooms with no windows, fine as long as the AC works. The AC was broken in the first room, not fixed after the first night but was able to be moved to a room with working AC for the second night.

Decent room with good breakfast close to the city centre. It's next to a busy motorway so it can get quite noisy. Even with th window open all day the room still felt quite hot. I don't know how you would be comfortable here in summer.

Our room was on 2 levels with a spiral staircase up to the mezzanine level where the bed was which we wasn’t expecting. TV on each level. Plenty of sockets. Lots of room. Bed was extremely comfortable. Room had blackout blinds. Didn’t hear any noise from other guests. Huge bathroom. All clean. Downstairs area had a large desk, a wardrobe, chair and sofa. Sofa had a few throws over it covering the very tatty, worn out sofa. Carpet needs a deep clean. Lots of stains which gave a first impression of it being a grubby room. It was clean though. Extremely hot in the room where the heating had been left on. Turned it off, opened a window and had to get a fan out. No air conditioning. We were offered another fan which was dropped off whilst we were at breakfast. Our stay was in October and it was a very warm room. Dread to think what it would be like in the summer. The only thing we felt that we needed was drawers to put clothes in the same area as the wardrobe. Breakfast was mostly really good. Just the sausages that were like rubber. Overall a good stay. Would stay again but probably in a different cooler room.

The room was advertised as a deluxe twin which, in my mind, means that two, non intimate, people can share the room. I booked the room to share with my 27 year old son because we travelled to manchester for a concert. We just needed a clean bed for the night with a bathroom. Points to note: *The bathroom has no door and faces out onto the twin beds and the ground filler street outside. This is very awkward in terms of taking a shower, as one person has to go elsewhere whilst the other is in the bathroom. *Only two pillows and one towel provided which suggests that this is really only a single room. *The shower is over the bath which is fine. What isn’t fine is that the bath is too high off the ground and there is a 10cm tiled edge to the bath, making it really difficult to step out of the bath if you are short. I am 5.2” with standard length legs (29”) and sustained a nasty graze to my inner thigh trying to get out.

Be warned !! This property will demand another payment before you can check in . Staff will be rude and demand this , even if you’ve paid in advance and even sent emails concerned they may do this because you’ve read reviews they do . They really do The girls were in a rush so one had to pay £177 on her card even tho they had solid proof I had paid over a week ago and it was all processed . Won’t return

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Checked in early no problem. Stayed in a duplex which was amazing value for money. Really spacious and loads of facilities. Breakfast was really nice, coffee was brilliant. Whole experience from start to finish was really good, would highly recommend.

The customer service is poor. The shower was not working. I reported this at the reception and the receptionist said someone will come check it out but nobody came till I checkout the following day. It was such a mess and very disappointing

The attitide of the night shift worker called Joshua was appalling. He didn't want to help and was extremely rude. The worst customer service I've experienced. The room was not clean when i checked in. The roulet seat was dirty, there was hair on the bathroom floor and the bedside table was dirty. The actual room was a very good size and bed was comfy but who would want to stay in a place where the staffs attitude stinks and the rooms not clean. Will never stay here again or reccomend anyone to stay here.

Staff were virtually none existent. Had to wait a while to check in and out but it was fine as we were only there one night. Bathroom situation was not clear in photos, no privacy in shower but again it was fine as only one night but this should be clearer in photos as it could have led to an embarrassing situation if you’re not 100% comfortable basically showering in front of the person you’re sharing with.

Stayed here during a recent visit to the Manchester Opera House, really nice hotel just outside of the city centre. Secure parking, efficient staff, rooms were large, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was buffet style with something for everybody, very nice and slightly quirky dining area. Roughly a ten minute stroll into the main areas of the city, or about £5 in a taxi, we walked in then got a taxi back. Would recommend, and will look to stay here again should I be visiting the city again.

Comfortable, clean and friendly. They did inform us that the bacon was turkey and chicken sausages. Why they couldn't do proper bacon and sausage aswell is beyond me, that was the only let down. A good stay all in all.

We spent the night here last night. The room we stayed in for our anniversary was the deluxe suite and we were genuinely surprised. Very specious, very clean and a lovely place to stay overall. We had a beautiful swan made from towels on our bed upon arrival for our anniversary and a small selection of chocolates. Both reception staff we spoke to were helpful. Breakfast, we got in with our stay, wasn’t the best (undercooked hash browns and sausages) but the cold section looked yummy. Overall stay was great, just probably would skip the breakfast option next time. Thank you! We definitely would stay again x

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful especially on reception The price was superb and a brilliant location to all of Manchester The room was relatively clean but unfortunately there were 1 or 2 issues there was a discarded tissue by the desk covered in red lipstick and crumpled rubbish too, also a black curly hair on the tiles in the wc The blind was defective and wouldn’t close so not very private The tv wouldn’t turn off either via the remote Internet was excellent & the location and price was excellent The car park was handy and had plenty of spaces The breakfast was basic and I am afraid not very tasty but the staff worked hard with what they had

New owners have removed alchohol from the bar and do not serve pork at breakfsst. Only vegetarian sausages and turky bacon. This should be posted as indormation when booking.

Been here before lots of changes since last visit the bar area has gone and rooms have been upgraded friendly check in staff, excellent breakfast even the no pork sausages, room was trendy and comfortable albeit could hear the build up of the morning traffic, great if you have a car bit of a walk to the nearest tram stop.

On arrival I was given a card key that didn't work. Not a great start. On entering the room it was on the smaller side, but spacious enough for a solo traveller and clean. The bathroom extractor fan was super loud and stayed on even after turning out the lights and closing the door. This was distracting for about 10 minutes. Sleep was okay, some creaking floorboards in the room above woke me up but that's to be expected from a budget hotel. The biggest let downs were breakfast and parking. Starting with the latter, £14 to park overnight (arrived at 7pm) with an additional £7.50 to park between 11am and 5pm, so £21.50 for 22 hours. Feels extortionate. As to breakfast, it is described as a hot English breakfast, with only veggie sausages and turkey bacon. I enquired with a member of staff and was told it was taken over by Rooomzzz (or something like that) and they've banned pork and alcohol from the premises. This was not advertised anywhere so very disappointed.

Nice hotel. Good staff and service. Nice little buffet breakfast as well. I booked a double room, very spacious, but the bed was small compared to the rest of the room. The room had an inside balcony, which is a very nice touch. Sainsbury's was 4 mins walk away and a bus stop was nearby too. Convenient. I enjoyed my stay.
