Great place to stay in Puerto Morelos. Close to everything! Easy to walk to various spots such as cafes and stores. The rooms are as described and very clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Great restaurant in the hotel, Muelle Once, and Om Delfin Diving Center is right next door which makes water activities such as snorkeling easy to book. Thanks for a wonderful memory.

We’ve traveled around the Yucatán many times and stayed in some truly wonderful places, but this hotel stands out above them all. It is by far the most welcoming and relaxing place we’ve experienced. The location, atmosphere, and views are simply unbeatable—including the breathtaking view from the hotel room. The service is excellent, and it adds tremendous value that one of the area’s best restaurants is located right at the hotel. Having a top-class scuba diving center on site, along with the outstanding Violeta’s massage, makes the experience even more special. Everything about this place feels thoughtful and refined. The hotel’s beach access is beautiful and inviting—peaceful and away from the crowds, yet still perfectly close to everything you might need. A truly magnificent stay that we can’t wait to return to.

This was a great hotel for proximity to the beach and restaurants. Check in and parking were easy. We had a mini fridge and ground floor access to the beach and pool area.

Great hotel with wonderful views of the ocean from your balcony. Staff is pleasant and helpful. There is a on site restaurant with wonderful food and complementary morning coffee. The pool and beachfront have loungers and wait staff in the afternoons. This is our home when we come to Puerto Morelos!

Pros: you get nice beach views no matter what room you’re in. The ground floor (no balcony) option you get direct access to the pool and the steps to beach are also right outside your door. The hotel is on the quieter side of town. Right on the edge of everything else which I personally enjoyed. I love my quietness. They have a good restaurant connected to it and also option for snorkeling/diving and other things connected to the hotel. So Everything you need is there. Also, free coffee every morning for guests. Cons: No elevators. Stairs only, they are narrow. Sheets are super thin. I was cold most nights but I brought socks thank goodness! No microwave. I got take home food twice and couldn’t warm it up. The inside isn’t the best, definitely don’t book if you’re looking for luxury. I’d book again due to the views and the side of town it’s on. I love it. Employees are all excellent! Super helpful and kind staff!

Nice big room with fridge and safe. Large terrace on 1st floor overlooking the pool, beach & sea. Bathroom a little dated but clean and functional with large shower and lots of hot water. Great location with beach access and plenty of sun loungers round pool and on beach for exclusive use. Great restaurant attached to hotel (Meulle Once) super location and tasty food.

The hotel was very ugly and the rooms were in poor condition, the beds were dirty, the pillows were super hard, and the bathroom didn't work properly.

Very quaint hotel older well kept except room 102 had a gap that let in mosquitoes and ants in . On top and Btm of door . They had a foam strip across but you can still see lots of light in between the door and outside . Best room for gorgeous sunrise from bed ! Mgr changed our room all was good . 102 best sunrise views !

Spotless room, courteous staff. I loved that the staff was very much in tune with who should be on the property and who should not. The private beach was checked to make sure you were in fact a guest at the property and I appreciated that. I felt very safe.

Property is in an excellent location with a beautiful restaurant attached to it. The pool is perfect on a hot day. The only downside is it’s in a very loud area and the hotel itself is outdated but clean. Staff is friendly.

Everything was great. The only issue we had was that the body wash dispenser was not filled when it ran out and the cleanliness could have been a bit better but we still enjoyed ourselves.

Beautiful sea views and a great location, but there were a number of issues that would discourage a return visit. The pool, for example, was extremely murky looking the first couple of days and not at all inviting. There was also a banquet hall adjacent to the side of the hotel we were staying that can translate into very loud music played well past midnight. On the positive side, really lovely cleaning staff that kept our room looking pristine, and a great restaurant that serves excellent coffee and espresso.

Séjour décevant – Problèmes majeurs non pris au sérieux J’ai séjourné dans cet hôtel récemment et, malheureusement, le service a été la principale source de déception. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons constaté une infestation de fourmis dans tout l’établissement; dans la chambre, sur nos bagages, et même dans une boisson laissée seulement deux minutes sur la table. On nous a remis un petit vaporisateur pour gérer la situation nous-mêmes, mais cela n’a évidemment pas suffi. Nous avons aussi vu du personnel vaporiser ponctuellement, sans réelle solution à long terme. L’hôtel aurait besoin d’une fumigation complète, pas de traitements ponctuels. Nous avons tenté de régler la situation sur place de manière calme et respectueuse, et nous avons même demandé une compensation partielle compte tenu des désagréments vécus. Cela a été refusé. Autre point négatif : le café du matin, qui nous avait été présenté comme inclus, n’était tout simplement pas offert ce jour-là. La réceptionniste nous a répondu, sans chercher à nous accommoder, que ce n’était pas obligatoire. Aucun geste, aucune alternative proposée. Le seul vrai point positif : une belle vue mer et un bon emplacement. Mais cela ne suffit pas à compenser un service client aussi peu attentif et un problème d’hygiène aussi important. L’hôtel aurait tout à gagner à former son personnel à être plus courtois et à mieux gérer ce genre de situations.

The property is in a great location for shopping and dining options and is right on the beach. We enjoyed the pool and palapas right outside, and easily walked to a wide variety of restaurants. A large grocery store is just across the street. We had a good sized balcony, looking out to the ocean, but two of the three chairs need replacing due to the material on the seats being ripped through. The balconies on either side are divided by half walls, so limited privacy. I asked three times prior to arriving if rooms have refrigerators, I was told, “No”, yet we did have a refrigerator in the room, which is very useful. There are very few outlets and they are not very accessible, they did not work well with our charging blocks or hair dryer. The three TV remotes did not work. Lighting in the bathroom was not good for “getting ready”, no Kleenex are provided, and they ask that you put bathroom tissue in garbage instead of flushing it. The door to our unit appeared to have been kicked in at some point leaving a large gap at the bottom, there is just a simple door lock, with no additional locking mechanisms as seen in US. This place has great potential, just needs a little work. As things were I would rate 6-7, with some minor, but important improvements, it could be 9-10 for comparably priced places. No elevator if that’s a concern.

The location is great with access to the beach and proximity to downtown. However; the rooms are very basic, only come with 2 towels. The beds are about full sized and pretty hard. If you are unbothered by a very basic room with limited comfort; this is a great fit.

We stayed at Hacienda for 5 days recently. The location is great - you can walk to the Centro and to many restaurants and shops. The beds were pretty hard / not comfortable. The beach was nice and clean. Plenty of seats and shade. Overall we would stay here again.

We are 2 friends in our mid/late 30s that stayed for one night. PROS: Close to great restaurant options. Close to a huge modern supermarket with AC. The pool is very chill, with loungers, immediately next to the beach. Great view from the room of the sea. The restaurant beneath looks good although we did not eat there. Very chill area, sleepy beach town vibes. CONS/TO CONSIDER: Staff felt a little disinterested with answering our questions in general. Did not help us with booking a taxi in the morning, told to walk until we found one. We were on the 3rd floor, no elevator all stairs for those with luggage of mobility issues to keep in mind. Room floor made our socks dirty with sand and dirt. Shower water pressure very low, bathroom window did not lock. Door to the room felt very flimsy, as though the lock had been broken and repaired poorly with a screw in the wood, very wobbly and felt a bit insecure. Loud noise from other guests. Not a lot of privacy on the balconies. The AC and ceiling fan were both very weak. Towels and sheets were stained. Pillows uncomfortable, could do with replacing.

Loved the view of the beach from our room. It was just a basic room but was clean and was perfect for us. The pool looked like it needed a good cleaning but we didn't plan on using it. The only way to the 3rd floor rooms is a thin staircase and it was difficult to bring luggage up. If you have a hard time with stairs it might be best to request a floor level. I would stay here again.

Traveled to Cancun-Puerto Morelos with my family including a child. The location is excellent, very walkable, across the street from a grocery store and plentiful dining options. The facilities need repair, our door to room 303 had a big crack with a gap you could see through. I was tempted to fix it myself with wood filler, but settled with covering the crack with a cushion when we were inside. There’s a water pressure problem, but this might be related to the area rather than just the hotel. I’m Mexican so I had no trouble communicating in Spanish and had an idea of what to expect. The pool got dirty 1 day but was cleaned quickly and ready the next day. The quick and easy access to the beach cannot be beat. Wish the complimentary coffee service lasted till 10am, it was usually gone by 8am. My family and I enjoyed our 4 night stay and would definitely return.

Basic room on the beach. Bed was hard. For the first time we had a fridge in the room which was great. Not sure if they all have them. We were in 108 which had a renovated front area with metal shelves instead of the big wooden doors in others. Ground floor rooms have a covered patio so you can sit outside in the rain or daytime sun. Beach sand is very nice for walking and you can go north for an hour. Grocery store across street is good.

The front staff were not friendly or accommodating at check in. We had very slow service at the restaurant one day and so we left. The hotel is good enough for the price and ocean front, very convenient for walking. The pool water was dirty looking. Everything else was fine, I’d still stay here again for a short amount of time.

The area was great - short walk to central attractions, restaurants and shopping, it was handy to have the restaurant on-site (although pricey and limited healthy options), ocean view was beautiful, beach was very nice but a bit narrow and busy with boats. Pool rather small but pretty. Luggage storage was not secure or spacious (could only leave luggage at the front desk), there was no convenience room to change or shower before check-in or after check-out. Room was lacking hair dryer, conditoner, lotion, coffee maker, drinking water. Bathroom fixtures were dated and edges not perfectly clean. The on-site dive shop staff were very nice but the coordination for an off-site cenote tour was a disaster. The front desk staff was not very helpful or knowledgeable (about tours or the airport/departure tax process). We had a difficult time getting a late check-out to accommodate a tour return time booked through the hotel. Overall, the value of the location and cleanliness of the room was well worth the price but we will look for somewhere else if we return.

We have been here 4 times and will not be returning. Pros: the beachfront was well taken care of. The restaurant inside the hotel was excellent. Food and service 5 stars. Cons: the front desk staff and the actual manager just sit there with their heads down on their phones. The manager of the site was particularly unpleasant. We were there 7 days. We had no hand soap in our bathroom for 3 days. They didn’t ever replace the dirty cups in the room. I had to bring them to the front desk. The “free” coffee for the guests that is available at 6am is gone very quickly. Mostly due to their own staff drinking it. When it was supposed to be for the guests. It was usually gone by 8:30am. So if you want any get it early. Now towels require a cash deposit of $400 pesos for 2 towels. The quality of the hotel and arrive is very poor. We had an issue with our room and the bed was as hard a rock. I would never stay here again. We literally woke up in pain every day. And I love a hard bed. But this was terrible.

In terms of value for money this is an amazing hotel. The location is phenomenal both in proximity to the ocean and to the core of Puerto Morelos. To be fair the hotel is not the newest or the fanciest, but it is the best. When there was a question or concern staff were prompt and professional. Doria dealt with a few issues for me very quickly and with a smile. I had friends pass by and they immediately booked a room for their company. Yes there are things that aren't perfect, but I chose to look at the bigger picture, which is right in front of your balcony. Disfruta!

A bit run down, we always had to shut our front door twice to make sure it would shut locked. We checked in with the front clerk early and right before we got into the room a few hrs later he said that my husband and I owed seven dollars to a Eco tax that he never said anything about it when I checked in. we were staying with two other couples and they never had to pay the Eco tax. We all booked through Expedia and he was telling me that they didn’t have to pay because they booked through Expedia. So did I! I felt it was a bit of a small shake down for a few bucks in his pocket. Great location in town though.

Be very careful if you are planning to book in this hotel: they won't have any consideration: Do you need a late check out? Sorry, we will charge you. Do you ask for a room change (a nearby bar noise by night is unbereable), sorry, we can not. It is a pitty, the location is perfect, the manager doesn't care what you want or need.

Hacienda Morelos has been our preferred hotel in Puerto Morelos for the past 20 years. The hotel has been renovated extensively over that time and is quite comfortable and stylish. The location is excellent being directly on the beach, across the street from a major grocery store, within short walking distances to some great restaurants, and a spectacular view from the balcony overlooking the ocean. The working staff have always been very friendly and helpful during our stays there. Unfortunately, our last visit was less than pleasant as there has since been established directly across the street, an open air disco bar which plays extremely loud music throughout the evening and well into the early morning hours. If you value a quiet evening reading in your room or getting an early night’s sleep, I imagine this will be an unnerving problem for many people. It’s a nice hotel, but if you cannot get a decent night’s rest, then what’s the point. Sadly I would say it is unlikely we would book here again.

The property was wonderful in that it was located right on the beach BUT at night, the bar across the street was so so loud with their 80s music until 2 am every evening. Even earplugs couldn't mask the noise. So unfortunate for the hotel owners.

Great location for downtown! Room patio was great! Disco across the street made it hard to sleep until after 2 am.

This hotel is located in the best spot in Puerto Morelos with beachfront access and a pool overlooking the ocean. The rooms were clean and the food was great. It was a breeze stepping out of the hotel's entrance and walking around the town square.

This property is a gem! It's conveniently located in a central area of Puerto Morelos beach town. You can find just about anything you need within a few blocks, restaurants, bars, shopping, parks, street vendors, taxis, grocery, ATM, currency exchange, tours, etc. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The beach at the hotel is nice and most times you have it to yourself. I would pay the extra $10 for the premium rooms which are also on a quieter part of the property. The cheaper rooms are across the street from an All 80's bar that plays loud music until 2-3am and we heard other guests complain from the noise. If this hotel did a few updates such as comfier mattresses and some cosmetic updates it could easily charge a couple hundred dollars a night more for this location. For anyone looking for a beach town that's quieter, less busy, and friendlier than Cancun and Playa Del Carmen, this is it.

Very nice hotel. The location is great and every room has a fridge. There is a great grocery across the street so we bought sandwich fixings, water, snacks, etc. Beds are very firm, but that was ok with us. No hairdryer, bar soap or washcloths, but knowing that in advance, we brought our own. Very nice pool and beach area and the restaurant is very good.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was in a great location. The beach area was well kept, and the pool was always clean. The restaurant food was great and so was the staff.

We have been to Puerto Morelos 5 times and have stayed here every time. The staff is SO nice. The hotel is a little older, its not one of the fancy resorts but it is ON the beach. Across from the grocery store and within walking distance of anything you could need. Muelle Once is the restaurant there and it is DELICIOUS. Have the pancakes!!! We stayed one night at this charming hotel by the pier of Puerto Morelos. The ocean view is breathtaking and location is convenient. The staff here is incredibly friendly and accommodating. We had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant downstairs.

My husband and I just left Hotel Hacienda. We have nothing but great things to say about this hotel. It has a beautiful ocean front view and the location is walking distance to pretty much everything. We can't wait to go back. We also enjoyed eating at the restaurant that's attached to the hotel called Muelle Once. They have the most delicious food and the service was excellent.

They had a fire in the restaurant, so we were not able to eat there, and we love Muelle Once. There was no water in the rooms, so we had to go to lobby to get water to brush teeth and take Dr. prescribed meds and stay hydrated. a light was out going to our third floor. Where taxis drop you off is dirty and uninviting with extra supplies stored outside. No sign to the lobby, so we walked where it could be. On a good note, the mattresses and air conditioning were excellent. The staff were quite friendly. It is not a 3 Star--maybe that rating is only because of their excellent, consistent restaurant, Muelle Once. During our stay, we were not able to eat there due to fire. I did like that they took care of restaurant staff. They were paid anyway, and food was catered for them. The location is wonderful, on the beach, and it had a wonderful pool, and one got used to it being cold.
