Will not recommend or come back again. Smells like mildew very basic room with no sufficient lighting. The biggest minus were THE BUGS IN THE BED!!! While they didn’t look like bed bugs, they were definitely bed mites and no mattress cover! Cancelled and booked elsewhere. The only GOOD thing about this property was the service that Vikaya provided.

Great spot for a vacation quiet clean spacious on the go breakfast. Also the ability to rent the boat while you’re there is also awesome. I would definitely reserve one beforehand. Other than that will be back again. I highly recommend this place.

We arrived at the hotel and ask if there was a possibility for us to check in early since our 34th anniversary. The woman working the front desk that day said no there was not. If there was she’d call us. We never heard from her but when we got there to check in at our regular time, there were many many rooms open. We got to our room and inside it was so dirty smelled strongly of cleaning solution and the couches were scratched up looked like there was urine on the couches and chairs. I Understand this is a pet friendly hotel but this was unbelievable. So my husband and I went out for a little bit and I said listen and I cannot stay there. There’s no way I can sleep there the smell is horrible with the cleaning solution, the horrible pet odor and the condition of the furniture. We went to the office and Jamal, who was very helpful put us into a room in the back part of the resort in the tower on the water. That was a nice room and that was worth the almost $600. Please read all the reviews not just mine because if I would’ve read all the reviews previously I would not have gone into this hotel. The reviews that are getting it a 7.8 are the reviews from the back tower, which would’ve been much more expensive to begin with. We looked at other hotels well in the area, and there were a lot more that it would’ve been the same or lower price that were much much nicer. Other than Jamal, the rest of the staff were rude and unhelpful.

The smell outside was really bad. We were excited about paddle boards but it was a very muddy area you’d have to walk thru to use them. Saw bugs in the room. Refrigerator door was dirty. Garbage wasn’t emptied out when we got there. No extra toilet paper available in room. Finding parking was very difficult daily. All that said,… it wasn’t horrible. Beautiful views. Pool was nice. Beds were comfortable.
