"Beach" area was limited and no access to water. Need chairs under east cabanas. Bathroom fan didn't work. Flooding in parking lot limited options for parking. Breakfast was minimal - needs fruit and more options. Staff were nice and general location was good.

The good: we had a large unit with a gorgeous view on the top floor. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The continental breakfast was nice. The bad: the room was not clean upon arrival, smudgy sliders and windows, the building condition is poor and the elevator was downright rickety and scary. The pool is small and shared with another resort. Other guests were loud and there were piles of dog poop left on the grounds (we brought our dog and would never leave her poop behind). The resort fee is high and there was only one paddleboard. The marina was dirty and the grounds were not well kept. There was quite a bit of trash washed up at the boat ramp.

Room and facilities were as expected - decent value for money and no complaints. We only had a 2 night stay but on both days we found the elevator was in a pretty gross state (unfortunately some people find it acceptable to spit wherever they like - not the resorts fault but should have been checked for cleanliness at some point during the day) The breakfast offering was basic but acceptable. However, in spite of cereal being on offer there was no milk available on our first morning. Staff could have gone to a local store to purchase but chose not to so our toddler had to go without. Not great.

Front desk staff are very nice. The breakfast is nice as a continental breakfast. Pool Villa although it wasn’t on the pool was comfortable. I must say the floor of the kitchenette area smelled like rotten milk, so every time I went to get something out of the mini fridge I caught a strong smell. The launch ramp is a gravel dropoff that is very shallow at high tide. I managed ok launching Jetski’s. Much easier to retrieve at low tide. Overall a nice to place to stay.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. It lists as water front, there is literly room for just 3 chairs on the waters edge, did i metion that you have to walk on rocks to get to the waters edge. No beach area. Or access for swimming in the ocean. The property is very dated. Paper thin walls, could hear the people in the next room as clearly as the people in my room. Yhe main check in and office, were the breakfast and bicycle pick up area is across the street from the main hotel and cottages. The Marina, staff were friendly and helpful. However the jet skiis and boats are very worn, and old.

Great location. 2 bedroom room was spacious and the balcony over looking the ocean was awesome. Property itself lacks all resort amenities except a pool. Getting towels or even TP was a pain in the butt. And forget about getting your room cleaned. They advertise grills, but no propane ( they did me a favor by letting go to the store and buy a propane tank. (Really)??) The staff was nice, but mostly non-existent. At $600+ a night - would expect more.

Was very disappointed with the room cleanliness. The bedroom patio was not swept, bath tub was dirty, phone did not work. Roach was in room, walked to front desk to have maintenance remove it, was told that he would not be available until 9am the following day. Therefore the desk agent had to remove it. Rooms are not as described. Will not be staying there again.

The photos and descriptions of this place from the website are very misleading. The rooms are extremely small and dirty. The floors were filthy, food on the curtains, toilet had poop crusted onto it. Then we brought our boat expecting there to be room for us to park and launch the boat as described on the website and the grounds were so small and tight we couldn’t even drive our boat around the back of the buildings. We have a 25 foot boat so good size but not even close to the biggest boat in the keys. Will never return.

The room was not clean. The toilet was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. This is a picture of it after we complained and asked for it to be cleaned again, it was better but still dirty. The shower curtain was moldy. The coffee maker and ice maker did not work. The room itself was not cleaned well at all. The floor was filthy. I would not stay here in the future.

The first room we have been assigned has a very strong smell of mold. Front desk staff kept saying they were sold out on that night and could not help to gave us another room. After we kept addressing mold issue, he finally found a room in a different building for us. It seems to be a newer renovation and at least has no mold concern.

Place was very dirty, mattress were disgusting and dirty , trash on the floor, floor, not swiped or washed, sticky cabinets. Baseboards looked like were not clean for couple weeks. Did not let my kids take shoes off and Did not use their shower. Wrote an email to the manager and he never get back to me. I tried calling multiple times he never got back to me as well. Neighbor next-door also complained that it was the worst place he ever visited he said he stole the cleaning cart to clean himself bathroom and floor. He canceled his stay. Also they charged us an extra charge in addition to the Expedia “price you see rate” fee not listed on website.

The white wall to the right of the door to our room had some type of brown dirt, mold or a dark drink dripped down the wall. The shower stall had pink mold around it. Something leaked on the bathroom floor a couple of nights/days. It looked like someone was trying to renovate but got tired and quit because the wall in the bathroom looked like it was rotting out. The bottom of the bathroom door looked like there had been a flood in the bathroom and it was rippled and bottom missing, paint missing on the door where it cracked off. The exhaust van in the bathroom ceiling was full of dust, looked like hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. Black scraps on the white walls in the hanging clothes area and a black spot on the bathroom wall. The mattress was on a piece of plywood that wasn't even painted and the bed made so much noise had a hard time sleeping because every time you move in the least bit, it made a loud noise! Needless to say, not much sleep. The one thing we'll say is the view off the balcony was good of the ocean from a side angle. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY ON YOUR WEBSITE UNTIL THEY CAN RENOVATE A LOT BETTER!!!

Overall the hotel for the price everything was nice and pretty modern. Staff was friendly but a fake friendly if you know what I mean. The free breakfast and having kayaks and bicycles to use included is really nice and convenient. Only issue with me was roaches.. I found the little ones running around the bathroom at night and a really big palmetto in the refrigerator.. Other than that the rooms were clean I was honestly surprised when I seen them.

This doesn’t seem like a resort, I paid for an upgraded size double queen room, they placed me in a building right on the highway. Our beds were about 50 feet from loud truck traffic thru the night and morning. The room smelled like cigarettes. They are old rooms. We saw no beach. There is a sitting area on tall rocks, it would be unsafe to try to swim there. It would be unsafe to kayak there.

I will admit I was disappointed when I got to my room. It was dated and didn’t offer the comfort I was expecting. Very small bathroom. The grounds of the building were somewhat run down and the ice machine was not working. The communication with the staff beforehand was great so my expectations were pretty high. For the cost of the room it was a definite letdown.

Benefits, Room was decent size, beautiful view of the ocean. Downside, bed was very squeeky when you sit on the side or move around, no chair to sit on in the room. Not much water pressure for shower, Saw a small bug run under the base board when we walked in.

View from unit is of trees not the ocean, you can get a peek of the ocean from sitting sideways on the balcony in a not so comfortable chair and also the unit had no chair in the unit or stand for luggage and very small refrig / kitchenette area.

We had stay here more than 7 times. The location and ocean view at Hadley House Hotel were absolutely beautiful — easily the highlight of the stay. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing due to the lack of staff presence and responsiveness. At times, it felt like there was no one available at all to assist with even basic needs or concerns. For the price and potential of the property, the service was severely lacking. With better management and attention to guest support, this could be a great spot — but I wouldn’t return until those issues are addressed

We literally had to wait hours for pool towels. We had no toilet paper in the room and when we called and asked for sheets and blankets for the pull out bed, they made my husband go down to the front to get them … in fact he is there now and has been gone a while. Would not recommend

The front office evidently closed at 9pm. Myself and 3 other reservations tried to check in at 9:40 and there was no ones on property to check us in. No one answered the hotel phones and was very aggravating. An employee eventually showed up around 11pm and we finally got in our room around 11:30pm. It was unacceptable for a hotel not to have anyone on property to check guests In. I even gave them a courtesy call at 6pm to let them know I would be checking in around 9:30. I even found other guests looking for toilet paper without avail.

Old property. Air conditioner in suite's main room was not cooling. This was a problem in January, but it would be much bigger problem in summer months. Answer to everything when notifying front desk is that they can move you. We get the sense that this is not a NEW problem, but an existing one and repairs have been delayed/ignored. Ice machine not working in tower. Previous reviewers as far as 6 months back had same complaint. Are repairs being ignored? Other problems with room: lack of mirrors - only mirror was in bathroom; slow running bathroom sink drain; no toilet bolt caps; dirty floor; very LOW water pressure; no coffee maker in room yet had coffee cups and pods. Front desk person at check in was not welcoming or friendly. Overall very poor impression of Hadley House. Would not stay there again.

Flight was delayed by 2 hours. Husband called resort to let them know we wouldn’t arrive till around 2am, twice. He was told someone would be there till 3am. We arrived around 2am NOBODY IN OFFICE, lights off. Nobody on grounds. Kept calling both of their phone #’s. Loaded up voice mail on both lines. Slept in rental car, till 730am. When an employee arrived. Finally got to our room & the freezer had melted all over the floor. Neighbors had a big dog that barked daytime & night time. Kids screaming, tv very loud (probably to cover up dog. Loud talking. Not a good trip, we had been saving & looking forward to. Very disappointing.

Lobby hours not as stated. Phones weren't answered past 5::30pm. I had to knock on the locked lobby door to ask for bedding for the pull out sofa then come back two more times within 2 hours to make sure I actually got it. One set of toiletries were given for 3 guests and when I asked for more towels and toiletries I never received them. Went to the lobby the next day to ask for the same and there were no clean towels. You pay a resort fee for 1 kayak and 3 bicycles for the whole property. The continental breakfast is sub par and hours for that are 8-10am..While it's really a beautiful property the hospitality is terrible. Very overpriced for the experience.

Parking is great, staff is phenomenal! My only complaint is the beds. We stayed once before and loved everything except the bed. Went home a day early because we just weren’t sleeping well on the old, uncomfortable bed. Decided to give it another try. Again bed was miserably uncomfortable. We went to front desk and they moved us to another room. Which was fabulous, and the bed was better, but not great. If they replaced the beds, this would be the best resort on islamorada!!

Cleaning staff was not super friendly. We asked 3 times if we could have additional towels and soap and she said said yes when I get to it. We said, we are leaving for the day. She promised they would be left by the door. We returned and there was nothing. This was one worker. Everyone else was great.

Great place quiet, stunning scenery and of course you’re located right in the middle of everything you can walk to the beach walk to the restaurants several different parks and enjoy. I just loved it here. I’ll be back again in a highly recommend coming to this establishment and checking out the island

It was a cheap stay. Got what we paid for and nothing more. The Marina had a very poor smell and was unkempt. There was mold On the ice bucket and soap dish. Sheets and pillows were discolored. Lobby was not open at posted hours, needed items but unable to get them until later in morning. Breakfast was grab and go but by third morning everything was pretty much gone and not restocked. Outdoor seating area near lobby was a very nice spot to eat versus the room.

I like that it was close to restaurants and bars. Room was clean but not deep cleaning. Also closest ice machine not functioning had to walk about 1/2 mile round trip to next machine. No housekeeping, must request 24 hrs in advance. Would have been nice to know on checkin. Breakfast options extremely limited..Coffee mediocre..Staff friendly.

We just stayed for one night as we were headed towards Key West. The rooms look nice, but unfortunately the room and beds were not clean. Airco was very loud. Breakfast was simple but ok, the breakfast area does not have tables so you need to eat outside. With a temperature of over 90 this is not relaxing. Staff was very friendly at the reception desk, but we were a bit surprised we had to pay an additional fee for the property. We booked the room incl breakfast via Expedia and all was already payed for.
