The lady at the reception and the bar staff were great. Breakfast room service was great and incredible portion sizes. Well worth the price. A real shame that it is shut on a Sunday. House keeping were asked to come back as my partner was getting changed. That did not come back that day, nor the next. 3 day stay and no freshen up.

Recently Stayed at windmill for a wedding. it was a great motel. staff were friendly and we had plenty of laughs with the manager and staff during our stay. the function was well done and the bar service etc was great. rooms are clean and tidy. overall a great stay

We recently stayed at the Windmill Motel on an overnight stop. After travelling long hour it was so refreshing to be greeted with outstanding customer service on check in. All the staff were super helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable and had all we needed. We enjoyed a meal at the restaurant which was good value and was the best butter chicken ever had. We will be back.

I liked the restaurant. Linen was clean. I didn’t like our room because the bathroom door won’t shut, ants throughout, had to ask for a hair dryer and walls/ fans dusty & cobwebs. Window shutters broken, no tv in bedroom. No phone to call reception. No sign to direct people to reception so initially we didn’t know where to check in.

I have stayed here before and as usual the rooms are immaculately clean and spacious and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I had booked a room not realizing that it was upstairs and the staff were able to organize a ground floor room for me - thank you so much. Will definitely stay here again when I'm in town.

The Windmill was a pleasant place to stay. Our room was clean and comfortable, a decent size and just overall a lovely experience. The king size bed was super comfy and great to sleep in. Checkin was smooth and the staff were lovely.

The location is great with a fabulous walk at the back which is welcome after a long drive. The room is modern, very clean. Flowers on the table. The bed is big, comfortable and the bedding is spotlessly clean. Plenty of towels, tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. Parking is at the door. It was very quiet. Staff are friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my meal in the restaurant. There’s a petrol station near the exit. Location is excellent for getting on/off the highway into the property easily and quickly. Nothing to dislike.

Good location, clean and modern rooms. It was very noisy due to a school staying at the same time to all hours of the morning. Went to report but reception closed. Breakfast not available because of gas breakdown. Not all options available for dinner. Very nice dinner though. Staff polite and friendly

Big room with Queen bed & 3 singles - comfy beds. Very clean, block out curtains. We slept very well. The restaurant was so good, we arrived tired & thought we would have to get takeout but ate in the bar/restaurant and it was high quality fantastic food very impressed. Highly recommend.

The property was clean and today, large rooms which were great. The problem is the smell in the room was very musty and strong. The other thing is the noise from the cafe next door went pretty late

Nice and quiant. Hidden away very quiet. Do need some fans in room as air con is tucked in corner doesnt cool whole room. Needs a small sofa to watch tv instead of sitting at dinnin table or beds that are faraway.

The layout of the apartment was comfortable enough. The space between bed and wardrobe a bit on the tight side. The lack of kitchen equipment very disappointing. Just two of everything, no knife or cutting board to slice a tomato etc and only two bowls and two side plates, no main size plates. We had to use face washer to dry the cups as no tea towel was supplied. For the price we paid it was disappointing.

A nice quiet area of Mackay. We had a family room with lots of room for all of us. Room was very spacious. Bathroom was equal spacious as well. Bed and pillows was comfortable. Definitely be staying here again.

Terrible experience for a business traveler and will never stay here again. Something as simple as a Tax Invoice and compounded further by the complete lack of service on check in. If you don’t like Expedia bookings, don’t list your rooms there.

I arrived to find a well-sized room for the price I had paid. The room had well-kept facilities, with only a couple of minor cosmetic blemishes, but I put that down to it being a well-used venue. The staff were all pleasant and the manager was very helpful when I needed it. I was staying at this venue for a wedding and my overall experience was very positive.

We stayed twice on our last trip, once on the way up and again on the way back. Our King Studio Room was comfortable and spacious with the King bed, table for 2 and 2 lounge chairs which were very much appreciated after travelling most of the day. Dinner in the restaurant was a highlight with exceptional food served both days. We will definitely return!
