Great hotel staff, helpful and interested in making their guests comfortable. Fabulous small bar with outrageously good cocktails. Again, bar staff, JanCarlos, extremely professional and talented as a bartender.

Beautiful boom-era hotel in the center of Old Town Santa Fe; appreciated the Gruet winery tasting room within the Hotel; great front porch for relaxing; we were there during construction project, but it did not bother us at all; valet parking was less that parking a few blocks away and very convenient

Decent hotel. Very few amenities, no gym as advertised, onsite restaurant wasn’t open.

This is beautiful historic property located just a block off of Santa Fe Plaza. The art displayed, along with the antique furniture pieces throughout are interesting. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. My only issue with the hotel is that they charge a $30/day “resort fee”, despite not having a pool, gym, or other typical “resort” amenities. They offer access to these amenities in their nearby sister properties.

Gorgeous property with great location and friendly staff. Super Easy access with valet parking and many nice seating areas in the hotel. Room was clean, the deluxe double beds were super small (very hard for 2 adults to sleep on) and the fact that the bathroom sink was in the room vs. bathroom made it difficult to use specially at night. Hence the 4 star:)

Lived in NM my whole life, Santa Fe is usually a drive threw town. I deiced to stay local. GREAT CHOICE! Hotel St Fancis, Market Steel restaurant and the Sercreto lounge. Great service and experience.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking is valet only but I took my Harley and they let me park it myself in the valet lot. Wonderful hotel. I will be back and definitely recommend.

Good location. Beautiful historic location. The room was tiny, barely enough room for the bed. Tiny bathroom. The bathroom was not well cleaned - old shampoo bottles on the shower shelf, stains on the walls, no bag in the trash can.

Unimpressed overall for a downtown Santa Fe Hotel. Room old and dated and in some disrepair with peeling paint. Spider in bathtub. Older, worn towels. Coffee provided in the lobby in the morning - ran out with a wait time of nearly 10 minutes to provide another carafe. Would not recommend this hotel, nor will we return for another stay.

Spotlessly clean hotel, rooms are very spartan but nevertheless clean. Hotel staff are incredibly friendly and the location is excellent. My one complaint is that I arrived minus my toothbrush and toothpaste, so requested a traveler's toothbrush and packet of toothpaste from the front desk; normally this request isn't a problem, but twenty minutes after my request the front desk called to inform me they were out of toothpaste and toothbrushes. As such, I had to get my car from the valet and drive to a CVS. Obviously I survived the ordeal, but I would have preferred not having to drive at night for something as basic as a toothbrush and toothpaste. I would like to politely suggest the St. Francis make certain they're stocked up on these items for their guests, because at their price point, there's no excuse for making your guests drive out to a drugstore. This issue aside, I would still recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to stay at a hotel central to everything in downtown Santa Fe.

This beautiful hotel in the core of old Santa Fe is a historical building but is kept in perfect shape. The hotel is so clean, the staff very kind and the room was perfect. The history of the hotel is shown in photographs in the hallways near the guest rooms, and is amazing to review.

Really enjoyed Hotel St. Francis. Bathrooms were clean and had a great shower. Small, but perfect for just me and my husband.

Lovely lobby, veranda, bar, and room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great, walkable location. Bathroom shower was in need of some maintenance, but overall a wonderful stay.

The staff here is second to none. They make this place & I can't say enough about how kind they were. Parking was minimal so you must valet which is odd considering the lot is literally next to the hotel & you could just park yourself so the additional fee for this feels unnecessary as this hotel is expensive. Rooms were bare bones & not impressive at all. No color, no coziness and bare wood floors that were in really rough shape. Our AC never quite worked and our room was stifling HOT. We had to open our windows at night just to get some relief. Our windows opened to a dirty rooftop & alley where we were woken up early each morning by the dumpsters being emptied. We were also without running water from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. one evening! There was a sulfur smell that kept creeping out of the sink drain as well. Very few amenities compared to other hotels: no coffee maker, no artwork of any kind of in the room, no breakfast, & our mini fridge could only do frozen or off. Sink & vanity are in the bedroom space instead of the bathroom & there is ZERO counterspace. We booked here because it was dog friendly, but I am super disappointed. I would not recommend this hotel & will not stay here again. It was not cheap & did not live up to expectations. My sisters stayed next door at the Inn of the Governors & it was very lovely w/great amenities so if you have a choice, stay there instead.

Cute historic hotel in downtown Santa Fe. Walking distance to the major sites in the historic downtown area. Resort fee included valet parking. There is a wine tasting room and cocktail bar on site. Noise can be a problem as windows are old. Our room faced the street, which had a busy parking lot that had cars peeling out of it at 2am on weekend nights - this woke us up abruptly. People also liked to “cruise” down that street late at night with loud music and exhaust. Room was also very stuffy and warm. There was only one vent for ac but it was right by the window so didn’t do much to cool the room. Overall ok choice in downtown area.

Hotel has great history and character. Staff was super friendly and helpful! Can't beat the location. Rooms were a bit small and dated. Needs an update. Electrical outlets were very worn...plug wouldn't even stay in.

We weren’t told the central heating was turned on so when we tried to turn on the AC the only thing that came out was heat so we were miserable all night. We left the windows open but after the bars closed all we heard were people yelling so we couldn’t sleep until 4am. It wasn’t a good stay for us. We thought staying in the plaza would be nicer but if you don’t want to deal with drunk people I suggest staying away from the plaza to get better sleep.

Great property, comfortable bed, great staff. Only draw back was the room was really small, it was just a place to lay your head at night. Not really enough room to even walk around. Hotel was very basic. Had a bar with a small restaurant, not really much else. Was really safe and was located in a great area to walk around the old downtown area. It was smack dab right in the middle. Was a good time but probable wouldn’t stay here again due to the small size of the room. Could basically lay in bed, watch tv, and try to squeeze around the bed to get to the bathroom. Shower took a while to warm up, the second person to shower gets all the warm water. Water wasn’t really hot. For the price, it was average, not over the top. Beautiful property and hotel, and safe. Not much else

Nice entry and shared spaces but tiny little rooms. The bed is comfortable and the linens were nice. The bathrooms were tiny and out dated. We were unable to adjust the heat in the room and it was way too warm to sleep so we had to open the windows to cool off but the road noise from the road kept us up until 3am.

Rooms are very small , not typical size hotel room .

Our stay was great. The staff was super friendly and helpful, especially Gabriel and Stephen who helped us with check in, restaurant suggestions, valet and making us feel comfortable and accommodating. Great location in downtown Santa Fe.

Lost my key after I valeted and had to argue with the front desk to look harder for the key. They found it upon my insistence but were about to have the car towed. Horrible service and dirty old rooms.

This is a beautiful and historic hotel in old town Santa Fe. It is a must see. The staff is super kind and the rooms are cozy and cute.

The hotel wasn’t as fancy as the price suggested. But my two main issues were: 1) We didn’t know that valet parking was included because it wasn’t communicated to us until after we paid for parking and went into the hotel. It’s awesome that valet is included, but not awesome that we paid for parking to get in to the hotel to then learn we didn’t have to pay. 2) The shower was cold. So upsetting. Otherwise, location is great, staff was great, room was cozy.

There\'s a lot of history in the building and the staff is nice. However, 1) Staff consistently gave wrong information. Regarding parking, amenities, room availability, etc. 2) Bar closes at 9. What? 3) No food service on Sunday. Rediculous 4) No room service. Ever 5) Extremely small rooms (not as advertised on website) 6) Sparsely decorated lobby. Minimal wall art. There\'s a bookshelf by the fireplace with literally nothing on the shelves. 7) Surprise Costs. At check-out they tried to charge me an extra $200 bill for "amenities". Wi-Fi, coffee, and access to the pool at DIFFERENT Hotel. None of this was explained to me a time of check-in. Also why am I being charged "access" to a spa in a completely different hotel? Also coffee service was minimal - it was a single pump can of burnt coffee in the lobby.

Stayed here several years ago and it was lovely. This trip was extremely lacking at the price point. Tiny room barely big enough to fit the bed overlooking the ventilation shaft. Lobby only ever had a single staff person doing check in, tending to the lobby, and valet. No one to greet you at the door, no assistance with bags , no one at the valet stand. Bar was also severely under staffed. We left after 15 min of no acknowledgment. Candles in the beautiful lobby never got turned on. Overall.. did not meet expectations.

Friendly and helpful service from all the staff made our stay in Santa Fe very enjoyable. The room was small but well-appointed, making it quite comfortable. Very conveniently located, easy walking distance to all downtown points. Valet parking included. I would definitely choose this hotel again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the St Francis. The hotel is in a great location; easy to walk to shops and restaurants. The staff was fantastic; very friendly and efficient.

I was to be upgraded per my last visit that had room problems. I ended up with a room grade less than my original one. Long short, the reception desk was the worst I have encountered in some time. The hotel is lovely on so many other levels. It is sad that employees are so uncaring and rude.

Nice hotel in the heart of old town Santa Fe. Went to The Lensjc for a concert. Venue and great selection of restaurants within easy walk. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property and perfect proximity to downtown Sante Fe shopping/dining. There are bars around the area and our room was exceptionally loud late at night and into morning. Bathroom was extremely small for getting ready but room is quaint. Would stay again m, but would ask for a different room.

Beautiful hotel, centrally located to Santa Fe plaza. Nice, helpful staff, convenient valet and other parking nearby. A bit loud at night with crowd noise from outside, but overall nice place.

Beautiful lobby, great bar, lovely street even terrace to gather, people watch, sip wine, etc. Room & bathroom are small. Staff very friendly and attentive ! Property spotless

The bedroom and bathroom were very small, the lighting in the bathroom was very dim and especially for administering makeup.There was no breakfast offered for the price and it required a trip off the property to get breakfast. Our wine tasting, adjacent to the lobby, at the Gruet Winery was exceptional. Overall the hotel possessed a lot of charm.

The Hotel St. Francis was a very nice place to stay near the plaza in Santa Fe. Very short walking distance and the hotel itself was very comfortable with lots of character. The staff was very accommodating and the hotel bar and the winery was an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again when we visit in the future.

Beautiful hotel and room. However, our room was above banquet room and loud wedding all night long. No hot water for shower in the morning. We were looking forward to breakfast, but Restaraunt now only open for dinner. Have always stayed there for past 15 years, but hotel has gone down hill in the past few years. No longer worth the high hotel rate. Will look elsewhere next visit.

Eventually I was able to stay at my favorite hotel in Santa Fé. I love the minimalist monochromatic Spanish Style. Bedding was comfortable and lush. Very convenient location. Hotel dining options not good but everything within walking distance, that said the quality of tea available in the lobby in the morning was perfect.

The hotel was a bit rustic, but very clean with great service/staff and a great location for walking around the Plaza area. The restaurant, bar and wine bar on premises were all wonderful and very convenient.

The Hotel was located in a central location to access restaurants, shopping and sites. Very rustic property. Overall the staff was welcoming and friendly. The lack of food/Hors d'oeuvres in the lounge other than Dinner Menu from restaurant was disappointing. The only mirror in the room was the one above sink in bathroom. Not having ability to have make coffee/tea in room.
