Great hotel, located near so many places and activities; but it is STRONGLY recommended that you Uber/Lyft/ Taxi to this hotel if possible. Parking is horrendous; and the parking garage—with whom the hotel offers a discount—fills up. The hotel is in an area that experiences perennial construction; but the hotel itself is so nice!

All employees were super kind and friendly. Room was small, but well fitted and impeccably clean. Loved that the window cracked open for fresh air. Fun to grab a cocktail at the rooftop bar too. Great little hotel!

Clean, comfortable and had everything I needed for my business trip. Even a small gym for me to keep my daily workouts.

We enjoyed our stay at the Artezen Hotel. Parking was a little tricky but we managed to find street parking nearby. The area is very walkable. The hotel itself was clean and the staff were friendly, we were surprised to find out that they did not offer room service though.

It was a great location for transportation. Hotel itself is very clean with a great gym and rooftop bar. Plus all the staff throughout the hotel are polite, friendly and professional.

Very clean and accommodating! The only thing that was missing was a microwave.

Great overall. They do have a maintenance charge for water and nespresso pods, 14 a day or something.

Rooms were nice and clean. Beds have the full mattress cover to keep away any critters!!! Friendly and attentive staff. However, there was a $16 fee a day for water, coffee, and tea in the room whether you drink it or not. Parking is a hassle unless you park 7 blocks away near the mall - $24 for 12 hours - great price! Or try the app SpotHero. Also NO MICROWAVES in the rooms! But nice overall.

The hotel location is walkable to all downtown attractions. The room is big, bed is very comfortable and very clean. The staff are nice and friendly.

This hotel should have 10 stars. The bed was so comfy I am ordering the same comforter for myself. Super clean, water and snacks in room included, just overall a wonderful experience. Stayed at 3 hotels my time in NY and this was my favorite.

We loved our stay here! The Artezen felt like staying at a luxury hotel without a luxury hotel price. Also located in a great location, easy access to the Subway. All staff were very accommodating and kind. Hotel room was spacious and always super clean. Hotel also smelled amazing every time! Would 100% stay here again!!

Lobby toilets poorly clean

An amazing hotel in the Financial District. A great base to explore or live like a local. The staff are so very helpful and attentive. The rooms are beautifully designed and very well equipped. The cleaning service is thorough and welcomed. The terrace room offers a space to sit outside and listen to Manhattan going by. Can’t recommend the hotel highly enough. Would definitely revisit.

The reviews about this hotel were mostly positive and this is why I decided to try it. I have been living in the city for 14 years now was just visiting. The staff were very friendly but the room service was not as expected. I can tell from the hair I found on my bed that they didn’t change the sheets!! I got a skin rash and was itchy for most of the night. I informed the front desk but for some reasons they didn’t care much!! If you want to ruining your business hire a lazy room service staff that doesn’t care to change sheets and you are done!! I might try it again so pls CHANGE the sheets!!

Great experience overall. It’s on a busy street but sound proofing it’s excellent so you rarely notice the outside noise. Staff was nice and helpful and the daily water and coffee is great. Room is small but not surprising given the location.

Stayed for two nights during the Fourth of July and really enjoyed our experience. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Close to subway and the Brooklyn bridge in case you want to explore beyond Manhattan. Hotel room was on the small end but fit a king bed and enough space for two people to spread out - view was great on 19 floor too… Comfortable bed, slippers and a robe. Definitely a gem in FiDi if not all of NYC!

Great location & staff. Room was small but clean & well appointed. The only negative is there is insufficient storage space for clothes, etc. This would deter me for a stay longer than a couple days.

Loved the hotel - room small and hallways tight, but that is typical for NYC. The Hide rooftop bar was beautiful and the food fantastic! My only complaint is that it wasn't quiet - you could hear others in the hall and nearby. The shower and products were wonderful. I would definitely return.

Room a little too small but reflective of rate. Cean, reasonable, close to subway, Brooklyn & services. Good NYC for lower Manhatten. Only problem pipe on shower head too short. Should be 6-8" longer. For older person like me, standong on slope not stable.

The hotel and staff were wonderful however we were on the second floor and the noise and traffic were so bad that neither my daughter nor I were able to sleep the entire night. It was like there was no insulation or sound proofing. It’s unfortunate as we really like the hotel and everyone who worked there. I would stay there again only if I could choose and be guaranteed a floor higher up away from the street.

Staff was very friendly. Room was quiet, but the smallest I have ever stayed in- even smaller than Japanese rooms. Too bad they did not use less terrace space. The room could also use better lighting, as it is like a cave.

Rooms are small but very nice and thoughtfully appointed. Very nice bathroom. Staff very friendly. Close to subway. Beautiful financial district architecture right around there. Good value.

The electronic panels for requesting housekeeping and privacy, climate control, and bathroom lighting were nice. Room was small but well-laid out, and the walk in shower was great. Could have used a luggage rack for unpacking and packing.

Overall an okay experience, is how I would describe my stay here. If you are parking a car do not go with the garage the hotel recommends. We planned on this and it did not work out the first day and then were charged extra for being five minutes late to pick our car up. The hotel staff are semi friendly, depending on the staff member.

I've stayed at the Artezen multiple times and have generally had positive experiences. The location is ideal for me since I work near Wall Street. However, this visit was disappointing. My room on the second floor was extremely noisy, making it difficult to sleep. To make matters worse, the check-in experience was poor - the staff seemed indifferent to my concerns. Ironically, this was the most I've spent on a hotel room in a long time, which made the experience even more frustrating.

You cant beat the location, 2 blocks from WTC memorial. The highlight at the hotel were the Concierge team, what a wonderful group of gentlemen! Increadibly pleasant, professional and knowledgeable

My husband and I enjoyed our 5 day stay at the Artezen. Everyone provides excellent customer service, from the doorman and front desk staff, to the rooftop restaurant. Management clearly sets a high standard to ensure you enjoy a quality experience. Stephanie is a genuine asset to an outstanding team. We look forward to staying here again.

Great location to get around. Subway close by. Addition to the hotel will be nice. The only friendly staff was the concierge, everyone else was beyond rude and acted as though they were above you and you were bothering them when speaking to you.

Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed and the location offers great dining choices and the subway is at your doorstep. Room was quiet and size was adequate despite being in Manhattan.

Excellent location

Fantastic hotel, great service. Well connected to everywhere via the subway. Staff excellent. There did seem to be a lot of homeless in the area and at times they were intimidating. Not the hotel’s fault and security in the hotel was great. Glad I wasn’t staying in the area on my own.

Close to World Trade Centre and subways.

Best hotel stay ever in NYC. Only thing is it’s not in walking distance to the Times Square area. But this Weill be my first choice in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Artezen. Great location away from the Times Square madness at an affordable price. Subway access from the Artezen is great, Fulton centre entrance is right on John street, also the NYC ferry on pier 11. Hotel was very clean & staff were great, I will stay again.

Been to New York 10 times now and have stayed at many different hotels but the Artezan is by far the best. We love to stay Downtown and the Artezan is perfectly positioned being next door to Fulton street subway hub ( perfect for getting anywhere ) and is central to everything else Downtown has to offer. As for the hotel itself it is beautiful. As soon as you step in you are greeted by a lovely scent in the air and the a/c is very refreshing after a hot and humid day. The staff are extremely polite, welcoming and efficient and nothing is too much trouble. The room, though small ( but we did choose the petite room due to budget ) was perfectly appointed and very modern. A huge walk in shower, Bigelow toiletries, a tablet, huge TV, free internet, the BEST BED you’ll ever sleep in, robes and slippers, coffee machine and bottled water which were all replenished daily. We didn’t use the gym but that looked fantastic too. On the day we checked out we were unsure which subway station to use to get us to JFK as there were many different alternatives but Johnathan ( not how he spells it I’m sorry ) was Just brilliant. Not only did he suggest a train I’d never even considered, he actually walked with us ( in the rain I must add ) to the subway, carried my partners very heavy suitcase down the stairs and got us on the train safely. His knowledge was very well received and we had all the confidence in him as he had worked at JFK previously so knew the best trains to take.

The rooftop bar was closed which was the reason I chose this hotel. The staff at the front desk were very rude at check in. And the alarm was pre set for 6am when we wanted to sleep in until 10. I’m not able to fall back to sleep. The porters are fantastic and so nice. The room is nice - updated and big (for NYC). The location is ideal.

The hotel itself was very nice. The restaurant was pricey, but the drinks were good, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff was very nice. The biggest issue was being on the 4th floor with the only ice machine for the hotel. I didn't realize how many people needed ice between midnight and 3am.

Fabulous staff made this stay! An excellent location for us as we visited family in Brooklyn and went to a Broadway show. Very convenient access to all from Fulton Street Station across the street. Quick walk to waterfront shops and several great cafes close by. Will definitely return. The rooftop bar was beautiful.

i wish they had room service from the roof top bar.

The hotel was nice and clean, nothing too special about it but it was in the area I was looking and price was good. The bar on the 20th floor was nice but literally had only one other customer at 11 pm on a Friday. Which was fine, but the minute we walked in the girl who was our waitress informed us they closed at 12pm on the DOT. She really emphasized dot. the whole time she was polite and smiley to our faces but everything she said and did gave off a huge attitude. We could tell she didn't want to be there and our presence and any questions we asked was annoying her. We only ordered a glass of wine each then left because we felt uncomfortable. The other two staff, a girl behind the bar and a guy, were very nice. My main dissaointment is that I booked this hotel based off of the listing saying there was on site parking, which there was not. There is a garage 3 blocks away which isn't far, but when you have luggage it is and it was a huge time suck rather than just dropping off at the front as we had hoped to do. Not sure why they can't offer valet and have the attendant do the bringing of the car to the garage.

Nice boutique hotel. Small on scale. Great rooftop bar/lounge with food and drinks. Super friendly and efficient bartender and hostess.

The rooms are small but the price and location were good for us. Our room was quiet and we slept well.
