The hotel is one stop away to NRT airport and also close to train station, shops and restaurants The staff is very friendly and laundry machines available at home. Only point is that the hotel do NOT pick up the customer from NRT and only send the customer to NRT in the morning. There is no shuttle bus available in the afternoon anx night for some reason.

The room is big and clean. All the people in the reception are nice, helpful and can understand English. Service is efficient. We have our luggage brought to this hotel fron Osaka earlier than our arrival and it is in our room already when we got there. They have a coin washer and dryer on the 3rd and 7th floor. They have a buffet breakfast with good selection for 1500 yen. It is close to the stations and to a lot of restaurants and bar. They also have a free shuttle to the airport which is the main reason we booked this hotel. We will definitely stay again here if we come back to Japan.

It’s only the shuttle bus service to the airport. I was told that it’s full when I tried to book the shuttle for next early morning to the airport. Then I have to either take a cab or take the train which I did. It would be nice if they have a bigger bus or more bus to the airport during rush hour. Thanks

We stayed at the Richmond for one night after a late arrival from an international flight. Unfortunately they no longer operate a shuttle bus from the airport (only to the airport) but we found a super friendly taxi driver to take us to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good with Japanese and Western options. The hotel has some shops and dining options nearby. It is very close to Narita train station which made it easy to travel onwards.

Close to train station, temple, shopping and Lawson’s. Nice touch with the buffet of extra amenities like face masks, razors, toothbrushes, creams and more. Great place to stay close to airport for one night with the ability to explore. Room was spacious enough for us and enjoyed the shuttle to back to the airport. Carpet was a little on the worn side but we wore the slippers provided. Would definitely stay here in the future.

Layer of dust on the bed headboard . But overall everything is very clean . They also provide free facial masks and free coffee machine at the lobby . Location is very convenient . Bed is quite hard leading to uncomfortable sleep. Will stay again for short stay next time.

Older property but very to maintained and very clean. Also the price is excellent. Definitely a great value. Towels and linens were great (very large bath towel, firm mattress with a cozy duvet). Full thermostat controls (with a/c). So why not 5 starts? Well everything had a cigarette odor, especially the bathroom. I thought maybe it was previously a non smoking room, but then I went to blow my nose with some toilet paper and nearly choked... The toilet paper reeks of cigarette smoke. Why? How?

Overall the stay was ok for the purpose to have a room for our layover. Maybe my expectations were too high, as the rating of the hotel was extremely good. However, we found the room and bathroom not really clean, same applies to the breakfast restaurant floor. Also the variety and quality at the breakfast was not what we expected. The staff however was super friendly and polite and was very supportive, whenever we asked for anything.

Good location for walkable sights in Narita. Hotel needs a refresh. Entryway carpets into hotel room were off putting. Bathroom definitely needed an update. Good location to Narita Kensei station. Check airport shuttle before booking as it’s only one way to Narita airport. Morning hours time slots only to schedule a drop off to the airport. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff were very helpful and the location was super convenient--right near Narita Station and several convenience stores. It was also only a 10 minute walk to Naritasan Omotesando (market with a ton of local shops and food), as well as the Temple and Park near by (both so beautiful!). We stayed in the Economy Twin Room, 2 Single Beds, and for the most part, it was clean, but the carpet had a noticeable amount of stains by the door. It was also very small, but we only stayed one night, so it wasn't bothersome, and it was very quiet.

I have used the Richmond Hotel for different locations. Any location of this hotel is pretty good. One thing I would say is I wish their mattress could be better. They don't have a top pillow, padding so that when you sleep my body heat is taken away. I had to ask at the front desk for two blankets to be put on the bed underneath for padding.

Stayed at Richmond Hotel Narita for one night to prepare for our flight out nearby the airport the next day. We appreciated the easy check in, complimentary amenities bar and the accommodation of our request for a higher floor room at the end of the hall. Our stay was amazingly quiet after a long flight for much needed rest! The room was very basic with a dated small bathroom, however the space was very clean. The hotel does offer a free shuttle to Narita Airport, however the run times are not early and can be limited. We ended up walking a few minutes to the nearby train / metro station that takes you directly to the airport. Overall, great stay in a quiet town and perfect if you’re just passing through for a short stay. Note, the hotel is only a three minute walk from the Keisei-Narita Station (very convenient)!

Second stay at this hotel in Narita. Great for when you need a full day in between flights and don't need to go into Tokyo. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The bed this second time, however, seemed harder than the first time. It was uncomfortable and gave me back pain. It does make me question if I can stay again. Otherwise a great option in Narita. Right in Narita town and minutes away from the train stations, it's so convenient! And Narita is a must visit especially the temple and park. Even after a second stay we enjoyed the experience.

Situé non loin des gares de Narita (Keisei plus proche), le séjour dans cet hôtel avant notre départ du Japon s'est très bien passé. Le personnel parle très bien anglais et est très accueillant. Le petit déjeuner buffet libre service est très diversifié (la configuration des tables est un peu différents hôtels où nous avons séjournés mais nous nous y sommes accomodés). Depuis l'hôtel on peut se rendre à pied vers Naritasan (compter un peu plus de quinze de minutes). De nombreux petits restaurants sont situés aux alentours.

Pretty good area around Narita. A lot of options for dining. Right next to train station and bus station. A convenience store located across! Over all, an ideal place for a convenient short stay. It is far from central tokyo but if you’re coming from Narita Airport and don’t want to deal with the train struggle after a long flight then you should stay here even for a night or two before going to central tokyo

This is my hotel of choice when arriving in the evening from overseas at Narita Airport. As with all the Richmond hotels I’ve stayed in it’s comfortable and quiet and conveniently located for public transport. The breakfast is great too.

Loved this hotel. Old world charm and great location. We did not realize that restaurants do not open early for breakfast so I would recommend opting to include breakfast at the hotel.
