We really enjoyed our stay at Des Grands Voyageurs! Attentive staff, and an especially welcoming bellhop, who we enjoyed seeing each day. The room had a lot of great touches, like small minibar included and refilled (with snacks, Coke products, beers), a little welcome gift, etc. They offered refillable water bottles, which was a little odd (3 euros to replace them or get a new one), but it was nice they'd fill your water bottles. The location is wonderful - just a block off the Sainte-Placide Metro and walkable to the Jardin du Luxembourg, shopping, restaurants, etc. We love this area, as it's somewhat more residential but still very close to our favorite attractions. Bed was comfortable and the rooms were well-appointed. Breakfast was also good. Would have been nice to have eggs and coffee to order, as the coffee machine coffee in particular wasn't great, but overall very nice, especially for a 4-star property. Also nice that there was a fitness center. Would have liked to see some smaller weights than 11lbs, but other than that, it was sufficent for travel workouts. The restaurant and bar area are beautiful, but we were disappointed to see that the bar was dead every night. No guests or outside patrons. We really love a lively bar at a hotel and this bar has a lot of potential. Overall, we had a great stay. The value of the room rate was good for the quality (i.e. it was not inexpensive at all, but not overpriced). We would definitely stay at this hotel again!

I liked the fact that the staff was so excellent. Upon arrival a young lady actually came outside of the hotel to help us with our luggage. She saw us pull up in our taxi and left the front desk to help. All of the staff from this young lady to the young men were so professional, a true reflection of excellence. They had a restaurant with limited offerings however, there were so many surrounding restaurants within a block that it didn’t really matter to us. We also used Uber eats for outside delivery. The famed Le Bon Marché is only a couple of blocks away. We invited a friend from Aix-en-Provence to stay with us in her own room that we paid for and she also had a wonderful time in room 207 a king room. Rooms in Paris are known to be smaller than in the USA however we had a junior suite which was the size of a regular room in the USA. The drinks in fridge and the snacks supplied every day were included in the cost of the junior suite and they were replenished everyday. Our room 401, was quiet as well as close to the elevator with a walk-in shower. A perfect location as I use a walker and a mobility scooter. The perfect location. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Staff were all amazing. It was our anniversary and we asked to have champagne in the room when we checked it The check in crew left a nice hand written note and gave us a couple free desserts. We had a great time in the late evening at the bar with Max. Thanks for the amazing stay.

Amazing hotel with excellent service. Was greeted with a welcome drink and allowed early check in. The beds were so comfortable and mini bar was fully stocked and complementary with snacks and drinks. Located in a nice neighborhood close to jardin du Luxembourg. Not very close to a lot of attractions but lovely area. Felt very luxurious and great value for money.

I have given this hotel 3 stars which I think is fair based on what I noticed over the 5 nights we stayed at this hotel. Our room was on the 7th floor (top floor) and it was uncomfortably hot even with AC on max. The room was small and really had little space for clothing and suitcases.The staff adjusted the AC but it was still too warm. The hotel seemed short staffed. The beautiful downstairs bar was closed due to lack of a bartender and the breakfast that was included was a problem every morning due to staffing issues. On the plus side, it’s in a wonderful location, the front desk was very helpful and the rooms were spotlessly clean.

Top notch service, clean, stylish, great location, wonderful restaurant. Our room was very, very small. Opening a medium sized spinner would have taken up the only open floor space in the room . That is the only drawback. We tried to upgrade but nothing was available.

Brilliant, stylish hotel. Accomodated my request for a twin. Lovely touches throughout from a welcome drink, robes and slippers, luxury body wash/lotion, bottle opener and chromecast television. We were on the 2nd floor and had a lovely quiet room and very comfortable beds. Metro lines very conveniently located.

We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel des Grands Voyageurs on Rue La Vaugirard, Paris. The location was excellent and very convenient, being close to the metro, various restaurants, and within walking distance of the River Seine. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable, and kept very clean, featuring a king-sized bed, which is quite rare in Paris. The staff were truly wonderful, especially Louise and Marion, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We highly recommend this hotel and would be delighted to stay there again in the future!

Excellent location! The deluxe rooms are large for Europe, and the Diptyque bath products a special treat. Very comfortable beds and the blackout shades made for a wonderful night of sleep. Great neighborhood near Montparnasse and a quick walk to St. Germain-Des-Prés; we enjoyed our time here!

Room is small but bed is super comfy. The only issue is that the heater wasn’t consistent and I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to turn off floor lamp so I unplugged it.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. The decor, eco-friendliness and attention to detail were amazing. The staff were very warm and friendly. The location was fantastic, very safe and walking distance to everywhere. I would definately stay at this gem again!

Reception desk not helpful at all, asked for toothpaste and still didn't get it after 1 hour despite called the reception desk twice and had to go down myself to get it. Terrible checkout experience, the night shift didn't even tell me how much I paid for the tax, very rude attitude as well

Everything was excellent. Obviously road works being undertaken out the front of hotel. Staff were all friendly and attentive. Special mention to cheerful Marianne on the Bar and Irene the helpful Tour Guide. Also Sarah on a reception doing a wonderful job. Will recommend this hotel to friends from Australia visiting Paris.

Stayed for a week at Hôtel des Grands Voyageurs in Paris’ 6th arrondissement. It deserves its rating... exceptional. We selected this hotel because of its location and rating. Very clean, quiet, well organized, very capable and professional staff. We enjoyed our Deluxe Room on the top floor. Some might consider it small, 194 sq ft, but for us, it was perfect. Maybe the only improvement could be more storage space for clothing (larger closet and a bureau). Of important note: the bed was extremely comfortable. Although we didn’t opt for the extra breakfast fee, we did have several meals in their restaurant and would rate the food better than average and the staff wonderful.

Very clean, quiet, well organized, very capable and professional staff. We enjoyed our Deluxe Room on the top floor. Some might consider it small, 194 sq ft, but for us, it was perfect. Maybe the only improvement could be more storage space for clothing (larger closet and a bureau). Of important note: the bed was extremely comfortable. Although we didn’t opt for the extra breakfast fee, we did have several meals in their restaurant and would rate the food better than average and the staff wonderful.

This is a nifty hotel in the 6th ARR which is a nice section of Paris. We really enjoyed staying here. The hotel is literally just steps away from the Saint Placide Metro station and is convenient to grocery stores, restaurants and shops of different sorts. It is only an 8-10 minute walk to the Luxembourg Gardens, and perhaps 25 minutes to Saint Chapelle and the other major tourist attractions. We had a junior suite for 2 nights in August of 2025 and the suite was exactly as depicted by the on-line description and photographs. The front desk was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with and was even able to check us in early, which was fantastic since we had come in from the US on an overnight flight. One other to mention is that breakfast was compact but extremely good. The hotel offered a nice variety of choices for the breakfast, which was a continental buffet, although it also included bacon and eggs. We would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again in the future.

We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel des Grands Voyageurs on Rue La Vaugirard, Paris. The location was excellent and very convenient, being close to the metro, various restaurants, and within walking distance of the River Seine. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable, and kept very clean, featuring a king-sized bed, which is quite rare in Paris. The staff were truly wonderful, especially Louise and Marion, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We highly recommend this hotel and would be delighted to stay there again in the future!

Excellent location! The deluxe rooms are large for Europe, and the Diptyque bath products a special treat. Very comfortable beds and the blackout shades made for a wonderful night of sleep. Great neighborhood near Montparnasse and a quick walk to St. Germain-Des-Prés; we enjoyed our time here!

Amazing hotel with excellent service. Was greeted with a welcome drink and allowed early check in. The beds were so comfortable and mini bar was fully stocked and complementary with snacks and drinks. Located in a nice neighborhood close to jardin du Luxembourg. We really enjoyed our stay at Des Grands Voyageurs! Attentive staff, and an especially welcoming bellhop, who we enjoyed seeing each day. The room had a lot of great touches, like small minibar included and refilled (with snacks, Coke products, beers), a little welcome gift, etc. They offered refillable water bottles, which was a little odd (3 euros to replace them or get a new one), but it was nice they'd fill your water bottles. The location is wonderful - just a block off the Sainte-Placide Metro and walkable to the Jardin du Luxembourg, shopping, restaurants, etc. We love this area, as it's somewhat more residential but still very close to our favorite attractions. Bed was comfortable and the rooms were well-appointed. Breakfast was also good. Would have been nice to have eggs and coffee to order, as the coffee machine coffee in particular wasn't great, but overall very nice, especially for a 4-star property. Also nice that there was a fitness center. Would have liked to see some smaller weights than 11lbs, but other than that, it was sufficent for travel workouts. The restaurant and bar area are beautiful, but we were disappointed to see that the bar was dead every night. No guests or outside patrons. We really love a lively bar at a hotel and this bar has a lot of potential. Overall, we had a great stay. The value of the room rate was good for the quality (i.e. it was not inexpensive at all, but not overpriced). We would definitely stay at this hotel again!
