The scale in the bathroom and the gym do not work The breakfast is not very impressive though all the chefs are very good and food very neat and well done. Missing the Shanghainese dumpling and bun or Chinese pancakes but I understand it’s hard to do but sometimes when breakfast is memorable guest come back to stay for the breakfast

Oh yes. They offer you a 'promotion' for lounge access which includes transportation within 3 kms. When you do need that option they tell you you needed to give them 24 hours prior notice (and this is after checking you in for a one night stay...) I would rather go to another property next time. The club lounge was empty and felt desolate to be honest. There was a bar and when we asked for some drinks they needed to fetch someone to prepare some basic drinks which did take a while. I'm not sure they were really prepare to handle international visitors to be honest (or people to consume at their bar for that matter...) Do try and avoid the club lounge access; it is irreparably expensive and not really worth the cost.

Nice, clean rooms. Tons of renovations right now so loud and noisy. Air conditioning was HORRIBLE. Switched to different rooms… could never get AC to go below 24C which was unbearably hot and uncomfortable.

I have been staying at the hotel many times when I am in Shanghai. It is in the city center and convenient. It was relatively newer hotel few years ago. However the service was not good to a five star St. Regis standard. No room was available when I was there at 1. Front desk said they will inform me when the room was ready. I waited 1 hour plus but no message. I have to check with the front desk again and they found a ready room for me. That was 15 pass 2 so passed hotel checkin time. No welcome or thank you said when checkin and out. Room temperature was not right and electronic window shade had a loud squeaking sound.

The worst 5 Star hotel in Asia and probably ly one of the worst globally. The hotel management lacks complete awareness of customer service standards. The staff is completely ignorant and unreliable in their attitude to service.

Upon checking in at the hotel, I unfortunately encountered an error made by the staff. While the situation was eventually resolved and clarified, I faced difficulties when picking up my invoice at the front desk. The male staff member gave me a hard time regarding the previously quoted price and questioned why they should not charge me more. This experience was highly unpleasant and unexpected from a reputed five-star establishment.

步行至2號線地鐵站非常方便。夜間街上不會太熱鬧，但是治安也是好的，不用擔心。特別一提這個位置打車也比較容易，不會像在外灘酒店要加錢才有人接單。下次去上海會再入住。

Amazing stay in a spacious suite in heart of Shanghai. They have a fabulous breakfast, indoor pool, top notch 24/7 gymz. There are steam sauna facilities, You need to inform the front desk at the spa if you want to use complimentary steam room and sauna services. Well maintained property that is very clean and quiet. Butler service was very responsive, I forgot my iPhone charger and they promptly lent me one for the stay.

The room was average, some stains on walls, broken lock which was supported by folded paper, peep holes was blocked. And some peeled wall paper. The toiletries were average, and the sink was clogged. Breakfast was not very good, the variety for vegetarians was limited.

I had a wonderful stay. The location was excellent and made getting around very easy. The room was spacious,clean and very comfortable.
