Comfort Inn Buckhead North

Stayed there a couple of years ago and it was ok. This time the place has deteriorated and the elevators didn’t work.

Pool was literally full of sludge, sauna out of order, coffee maker in room didn’t work, coffee maker in lobby did not work, TV did not work, keys constantly did not work. Worst hotel experience in 40 years of traveling.

Broken shower and tub faucets. Broken elevator.

The TV in my room was broken and WiFi was spotty. My partner got stuck in the elevator during our stay due to malfunctioning. The hotel is in a great area, but us definitely due for some major renovations.

Very convenient for me but poor parking. Breakfast free but lacked variety. My room toilet paper holder falling off wall and other evidence of poor physical upkeep but I would stay there again.

Property does not have half the needed parking space. They offered to allow me to park by the front door! Who does that? That would have been a guaranteed way to get my car damaged by incoming patrons. Their answer was "Oh, we have a camera up front!" Video footage is not going to fix my car or help me pay the deductible. Room reeked of smoke and mold. My biggest beef is that even though the hotel decided not to charge me a deposit, Expedia decided to charge me a deposit, since I had to cut my visit short, due to the inhospitable conditions. This will be the last time I will use Expedia for anything. Please cancel my account and remove my personal information from your database. Your customer service is abysmal, to put it mildly. The door on the elevator made noise and the lights not all work and the ice machine on the floor didn't work add to go down to the first floor to get ice

This property is tired and dirty. Everything is worn out. It stinks, it's dirty. It's right on a noisy freeway with single-pane doors/windows that don't close properly and the cold air, pollution and noise seep into the room. The paint is peeling the carpets are filthy, the pool is empty and full of debris, the staff is terse and generally unfriendly and won't want to help you with simple things (like obtaining a wine opener), the breakfast is sub-par and you'll share it with homeless people. Cops were buys arresting residents when I had breakfast. Spend 10-20 more and get something a little more decent.

This place is nasty!!! My kids were terrified and had to cancel our entire stay there after arriving. Their place is sooo run down. There was rust everywhere and a horrible musky smell in our room. Not to mention our balcony had piles of trash. They advertise a pool which is not true. The elevator seemed like it was going to break any minute. Be warned you dont want to stay here!!!

They need to upgrade the hotel. Black mold in the bath room. Toilet not bolted to the floor. Ice machine never works. Comfort inn needs to step in. These people don’t care.

First room I was assigned had strong mold smell (I have asthma). The front desk worker sent me to another room. Upon entering I smelled mold again. I mentioned it & they gave me a can of Breeze instead of offering another room. Delay resulted in being 30 min. late for dinner appt. When I returned late in the evening I sprayed the Breeze they gave me. When I used the shower the ceiling was falling in from water damage. The HVAC unit made a loud noise every time before it kicked on. Each time till 1:30 AM it woke me up before i finally fell asleep. In the morning I took pics of the water damaged ceiling and showed them to the front desk person. I told her I was unhappy with the place and showed her the pics. She checked me out but still charged me for the room. No apology or offer to refund me for the bad experience. Codes need to investigate the main floor for mold issue.

Ceiling had severe water damage and mold . Walls , air conditioner , balcony , refrigerator were all filthy. Shower curtain ripped and tattered.

The space was not very clean. It was worn. The chair in my room had visible stain on it and there were holes in the bedding. The curtains were stained and the bathroom door had mold on the back of it.

Mice in the room. Blood stains on the curtains. Smelled like piss. Elevator inspection expired. Broken locks. Trapped a mouse under the trash can

Dirty windows. Mildew on walls. Ceiling falling down. Stained and smoky smelling carpet. Smelled terrible. Sink broken and caulked up haphazardly. No cover over light fixture (exposed socket with no bulb in it) Curtains torn to shreds. We felt dirty just being there and there was no way our 83 year old mom was sleeping in that filth. We left and found somewhere else to stay.

Nasty ROACH INFESTED, dirty carpet, light fixture broken, trash in hallways.

The room was very dirty asked them to come clean , they did not have towels had to use the same towels everyday during the stay . No cleaning services came by the room to ask if we needed anything . We killed 3 bugs in the room. Overall a very nasty place for sure . Looked nothing like the website

STAY AWAY! nothing clean, filthy bed sheets with hair everywhere.

This place is ABSOLUTELY FKN DISGUSTING! -10/10. The air conditioning unit had mold in it and we couldn’t even HARDLY BREATHE with it running. Dirty sheets , dirty pillowcases, a DISGUSTING TUB. I couldn’t even SHOWER because the tub was so NASTY. You people shouldn’t even be allowing people to book here until you complete renovations and proper hygiene. & all he said was “I can bring you some new sheets”. I’m highly disappointed and this is unacceptable.

Do not recommend staying here. Place had bed bugs and was very dirty !!!!

The hotel is clean and the bed is comfortable but the building needs a good renovation outdated.

We absolutely loved each and every room had a balcony with patio doors

Air-conditioned did work but half the time tv stopped working breakfast was only good thing phone didnt work had use cell phone

The room was spacious & linens clean. My most serious complaint was the traffic noise came right through the walls! We got a good price on the room so hate to complain too much on the maintenance issues-light that didn't work, bathroom ceiling with more poorly done patches than you could count, rusty bedside lamp, chipped frame on hung artwork...could write more. Cold food in breakfast bar (sausage & eggs) brought out promptly at 7 but not kept warm. Coffee not available in lobby-broken sign, but did have coffee maker in room that worked (Yeah!) Will not stay here again even if bargain.

The carpeting in the room needs to be replaced along with a soiled lounge chairin the room.

So loud and the balcony doors towards highway has such poor fit, so this sounds like the cars are driving through your bedroom.

Everything about the hotel was just about average. They had balconies which were nice. Not a bad stay.

I was given a full size bed but my reservation was for a King bed. TV is outdated. Room smells like mildew. Breakfast was okay.

Great Location & Customer Service!

When I initially checked in, I was given a room on the 5th floor. The key did not work. I went back down to the front desk and the keys were re-programmed. I went back to the 5th floor. The second set of keys did not work. I went back to the front desk and the front desk clerk programmed new key but came back to the fifth floor with me to try the keys. They did not work. She then moved me to a room on the first floor. She made sure the keys worked. I went into the room, unpacked, and got settled. I turned on the tv but it did not work. There was a “No Signal” message on the screen. I called down to the front desk and spoke to the same person who checked me in. I asked her questions about the tv to make sure I wasn’t doing anything wrong. She then hung up on me. I called back to the front desk several times. She did not answer. I went back down to the front desk. She then said bc it was so late in the evening (about 7:00pm at this point) there was no maintenance man there to see what the problem was with the tv, she would have to move my room AGAIN. This room was on the third floor. I asked her to come up with me to make sure they keys and the tv worked. Everything thing seemed to be working and this room was a bit nicer than the other one at first glance. As I began to u pack and walk around, I noticed there was a sticky substance on the floor and there were gnats in the room. Before the front desk clerk left the room on the third floor, I asked her name, she said Veena.

I enjoyed my stay here. Room was clean and cozy. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel staff were super helpful and nice. The hotel is a reck… broken bathroom ceiling, broke. Sink. Dirty carpet walls and curtains.

Malfunctioning hair dryer in the bathroom. Bugs in the bathroom. Trash and spills lying around the corridor and the lobby. Stains on walls, carpet, furniture, doors in the hallways and room. “Broken”coffee machine in the lobby and breakfast bar. “Broken” juice dispenser in the breakfast bar. Smell of weed in corridors. Place is run down in general. Wanted to leave as soon as I got there. Afraid of even checking the pool.

The staff was very nice and check in was easy. The hotel was a little outdates inside the rooms.

The staff was EXTREMELY rude. Kept hanging up the phone every time you called ! When we came to check in nobody was at the desk and personal information was on the counters. After driving from out of town this is NOT the place to go. These people are VERY unfriendly and uninviting. If I didn’t have my baby with me, I would’ve been better off sleeping in my car. A waste of 90 bucks! I washed & left faster than I could type this review! You definitely get what you pay for here. TRASH. This is what I get for being cheap. NEVER AGAIN !

The front desk was horrible! Said nothing and very rude! Room had holes and plastered paint everywhere! Just horrible!

This was a very nice place. It was quiet, barely heard anyone in the adjacent units and ease of checking in.

Used towel found behind bathroom door. I booked a non-smoking room but got the opposite. the smell in the room was so strong, I had to open the door and turn on the ac to the lowest temp to be able to breathe. Hallways, and the elavator had an odor. the bathroom was patched with different color paint. The sink drain was very slow, the tub water fixture about to fall off. The front desk employee was not friendly.

Convenient location, close to highway, a lot of store and dinning places around

Comfortable beds and nice night view off the balcony. Elevator was out so I had to take the stairs which needed cleaning and painting. Walking distance to tons of restuarants and shopping. Will definitely return.

Staff is nice. Rooms are a bit outdated and worn down. Heard some scratching in the walls usually associated with mice or rats, but have never laid eyes so I wont say for certain. Location is pretty great, lots of stores and nice restaurants in downtown Sandy Springs, which is one of the main reasons I stay here. They offer breakfast, which is appreciated. Its nothing fancy but it's there. Decent property.

Located conveniently express way to downtown atlanta is the only good thing about this property. The building is old and dirty, the receptionists are rude and unhelpful. They also lied and said it was no extra fees and when i checked in they tagged on extra fees.

I stayed at this hotel for #3 nights. The location is great, easy access to 285, the staff was friendly and the room was pretty big, clean, and has a balcony and workstation. The hotel is dated, and needs a little TLC (renovation) however, but for the price, I was satisfied.

Hair dryer broken. The 6:30 am breakfast did not start until 7:00 am.

Check in was easy .. But the carpets both in hallway and in the room are dirty and sticky. It’s long due to have a new carpet . Morning coffee was ready by 6 am and breakfast ready by 6:30 am

Tv wouldn’t work and the front desk didn’t know how to fix it. Staff were smoking weed in the breakfast area this morning and one was passed out at a table.

The only complaint is there wasn’t any coffee and that little machine in room didn’t work either. Otherwise good

Mold/mildew in bathroom. Ice machine did not work. Very little parking available. Breakfast was room temperature sausage (not food safe to eat), no OJ, coffee so weak and bad tasting I could not drink.

Was not well maintained. The room had a tiered curtain, was not clean at all. There was no WiFi working at the hotel even though it says they have. The breakfast was not good at all. Service was poor as well and didn’t had room service.

Breakfast is the same everyday and there was not enough toilet paper in the bathroom. Last day of my stay was Saturday and there was not orange juice left.
