We have stayed there before and the hotel and service was much better. The pool was dirty and the hot tub was closed (they told us on the phone it was working). The room had a musky smell and one of the pillows had some yellow stain on it. We booked a room for 4 people and they gave us two towels. We asked front desk for 2 more towels and they told us they didn't have clean ones. When they sent someone with the two clean towels she asked us for the two we had in the room ( I think she didn't understand that we needed 4 towels in total). The employees, included Mathew in the front desk, were rude and seemed like they didn't know what they were doing. We asked for a disability room and when we arrived Mathew said they didn't have any. We have been traveling and booking through you and Hilton for many years, this is one of the worst experiences we had so far. This hotel will not get a recommendation from us.

I’ve stayed here before and wasn’t completely happy with the stay but wanted to give a second chance. I’m sorry I did. The first we had the A/C rattled nonstop and the thermostat on the wall was broken and hanging off. I asked to change rooms and the one we got the A/C was better but the cleanliness was subpar. Mold on the ceiling and in bathroom and smelled of mildew. Multiple dogs on the hall barking at all hours of day and night (small yappy barks and large German shepherd type barks. Hot tub broken and the front desk staff was less than friendly.

Everything was very nice except the hot tub was down. We called a few days prior and we were told the pool and hot tub was operational. After walking arounf the historical city was were hoping to relax in the hot water.

Rooms were a bit drab, felt as if I were in a hospital. Was going to ask for a different room, looked online, all rooms decorated as such. The bed smelled of body odor and uncomfortable as was the floor dirty which showed up on my feet. Fitness center had a broken peloton bike, could not use. We did not partake in the breakfast, it smelled delicious, we opted elsewhere. The snack area was neat and they had a lot of choices not only of snacks but drinks and alcohol as well. The hotel served its purpose for its price. Would most likely not stay again.

Very clean property. Minor issues was the fitness center. Nonfunctional TVs in the fitness center and sand in the hot tub. Evening front desk agent was very nice. The front desk agent during the day was often absent. On multiple occasions I went to request towels for the pool and they were nowhere to be found The housekeeping staff was very friendly and stepped in when the front desk was missing. Please look at your flags outside, the Hilton flag was upside down. Did not understand why I had to pay $15 a day to park. Yes, the beach is across the street but there were no more than five cars in the parking lot. Why do you pay to park here when properties located on the beach were free for their guests. Again very nice, but expect more from a HGI. The TVs are much too small for the size of the room. My suite was spacious but sparsely furnished and very institutional. No pictures in the bathroom seemed very blah. Again, perfectly good hotel but it just did not serm as well appointed as other HGI I have stayed at before.

Was upset to pay for park,when I booked it said free breakfast and when we got there we were told we had to pay for breakfast.Several other guests stated the same when they booked.Very over priced for what we received.im a loyal Hilton honer member and would not stay again at this location.Very disappointing

Bugs and long dark human hairs in bathroom and shower. Bed was way too hard. Someone was vacuuming above or beside our room at 7am Friday morning the 21st. Very noisy outside our room and next room over on Thursday night the 20th. Loved the roominess of the hotel room but all the other negative things made it our decision to not stay at this particular Hilton again.

The room could’ve been a little bit cleaner, areas of concern where the mold on the shower curtain and just all around upkeep of the room. I know it’s by the beach, so I’m sure rust and sand are an issue with the salt water. Staff was nice.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn at St Augustine. The hotel is undergoing needed refresh and the newer areas are beautiful while the older areas are still in need of updating. Staff was helpful and locations is fantastic! Will stay again.

Was not very happy with this hotel for being a hilton. We got to the hotel and we were told that our upgrade room the toilet was out of order. We were given a standard room to only have the same issue with the toilet in that room. So got changed again. The carpet in the entire hotel was disgusting and dirty. The shower in our room in the cracks had mold. These bookings are not inexpensive for the hilton company to not invest and upgrade the hotel. Also for what is served at breakfast it should be included instead of paying extra.

Room and bed is good. However the shower is another story. The shower head wouldnt stay in position it kept turning towards the wall, the shower itself seemed to be a lot smaller than usual and the blind would not go all the way down!

Our room was so roomy.We got a room with the soaking tub. I enjoyed it in the evenings. Didn't get a chance to use the pool but it was small. No free breakfast but I knew that going in. We had a refrigerator and a Keurig coffee maker. Bathroom was extra roomy with tub and a separate shower. It was great. My husband and I weren't bumping into each other! I would stay again.

The room was nice, clean and spacious. You can tell it is an older hotel that was nicely renovated , but it became problematic when every time we returned to our room our key no longer worked . This happened 6 times so it became frustrating and the elevator needs maintenance. That’s a whole other issue.

The floor/ carpet was wet in half the room from the ac leaking. I was on the first floor and the blinds wouldn't close and car headlights were shining in my room. I had to put a chair in front on the window. I would of complained but its tired from driving all day. I won't be back

We only book for a single nite to attend a concert. My rating is because the television in our room did not work. This issue was brought to the staffs attention and was told there was nothing they could do about it due to no vacancy and a new entertainment system. I suggested to pro-rate the room but that fell on deaf ears. This is a first world problem. Should’ve acknowledged the inconvenience and tried to make it right. Bathroom sink had a crack.

The hotels was not like in the pictures. It was nice in the lobby. Breakfast was not included. The rooms were old. At least it that had clean sheets and towels, but they gave me a handicap room. Not what I booked for. Ask for a towel for the pool, and they gave me a small towel l to size to dry my hair. The room smells like old Furniture. But the Ira is were really nice.

Room looked old, needed updating. Cabinet doors off hinges on almost every cabinet. Tub caulking looked like it was bulging out. Couch had a giant rip on top. Not a good room.

The property and room itself were good. The main reason for the lower rating was getting a phone call the morning before our arrival, telling us they had downgraded our room due to "overbooking". This was a disappointment, especially since I had booked the room two months in advance.

Check in was not good. We were with a group all going to a wedding and traveling some distance. We asked several time to be notified as soon as our rooms were ready. That did not happen. If I had not kept checking who knows what would have happened. The lobby is very small and we were directly in front of the check in desk. We were all pacing and obviously anxious. We could have at least been able to process check in so that we could go straight to our rooms but no. We had 20 minutes to completely dress for a formal event.

Hotel is definitely in need of some TLC. Did not feel like a Hilton at all, but more like a motel. Bathroom has no ventilation and smelled of mildew with signs of issues around the baseboards. Check-in began at 3:00 and we arrived around 3:45 to allow a little extra time to avoid other arrivals. I was 2nd in line and waited in line for 25 minutes to check in only to be told our room wasn’t ready. Then waited while front desk worked with housekeeping to figure out if it was ready. The line behind me formed to around 20 more guests and the lobby was full. I was told I had to wait and allow everyone else to go ahead of me. My family and I waited over an hour and the entire lobby cleared out to finally be told our room was almost ready and they were waiting on linens to be finished. Front desk did wave the parking fee, but overall the check-in and overall hotel experience was not what we expected out of Hilton.

So I booked a room for 650$ for 3 nights , had to wait 10-15 mins for someone to even come to the front desk to check in , was also hit with a hidden fee of 75 dollars when checking in. Once getting into room phone didn’t work , ac kept turning off causing the room to get hot , very noisy. On top of that the breakfast was not free , it was STARTING at 10 dollars, there was only one elevator in the whole building, which would get crowded or there would be a line , very disappointing I will not be returning, and I recommend that no one else does either , take your money to a better place , first and last for me personally

We like this hotel very much. We have stayed here many times before. It is so convenient to drive in and out from this location, and it is right across the street from the beach. There are many places to shop and eat. The staff is polite, and the room is clean. We did not get to enjoy it for the second night. We had to leave one day early, but I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone that likes to tour downtown, St. Augustine and also get a chance to enjoy the beach.

We enjoyed our short stay at this hotel. I think the front desk staff was OK. The first lady was OK, the next morning staff was better. I had read they charge $10 breakfast and they do. Coffee was free. I can't tell you if the food is worth it or not. So we went across the street and got a much better breakfast for less than $10.00. Overall stay was good. Location was great for us.

My Husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn St Augustine Beach. The hotel and room were extremely clean, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the location is right across the street from the beach which is great for parking, along with a delicious donut shop across the street as well.

Very nice hotel. Convenient location, staff very nice and helpful. , nice rooms, comfortable bed. Breakfast was really good and great service. Only issue was toilet tissue was not changed out to new rolls and both rolls used and almost empty. Had to request additional towels since housekeeping only comes every other day. Overall wonderful stay.

The property is conveniently located across from the beach with plenty of restaurants nearby which is good because the buffet breakfast which many hotels provide free cost $10 per person. I wouldn't have minded if 1) they posted a sign indicating that there was a charge and2) that it was a breakfast worthy of the cost rather than the cheap water scrambled eggs and potato bites. Regardless of that, the room was clean and the staff were friendly. It is a pet friendly hotel which I was also not aware of, however not a major concern as I love animals but there was some barking throughout the night and our room was next to an exit so people were taking pets in and out. I mention only for those who may not be animal people or have pet allergies.Important to note there was NOT an animal smell speaking to the cleanliness of the hotel.
