Everything was great but the pool was closed by the Health department, the gym wasn't well ventilated, and the TV options were limited. Free breakfast was good but a tad cold, butter was refrigerated and hard to spread. Aside from that everyone was lovely and would do again

The stay was really good. Staff was so nice and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was that the pool was not open, which was one of the main reasons I wanted to book a stay. I was not aware until, I arrived. Other than that my room was nice and bed was very comfortable.

Front desk person was super pleasant. Everything was clean. We overall enjoyed our stay. The only issue we had is the indoor pool isn't heated. We made the mistake of getting into the freezing pool before realizing this. No big deal, but i would recommend either heating it, or closing it during the off season.

We picked this property partially because it offered an indoor pool. We put on our swim trunks and found the pool had been closed since August 2024 by order of the health department. It's been 2 months why is this cool not fixed. Why is it's not listed as out of order on the website?

One of our worst stays!! Hotel description is not what you get. Description says it has a pool and hot tub. Pool was closed by health department. Hot tub was filled in with concrete. On top of this, the business center was out of order, not a single ice machine worked in the entire hotel, the phones did not work in our room, and one of our TVs did not work in our room. Basically, we had a room to sleep without any of the amenities the deacription stated. When we addressed the issues with the front desk, they said it will be added to a list . No apology or attempt to help us as a customer. We felt like we were being blown off. Lastly, there was pubic hair in the shower before any of our group had used it. DISGUSTING!!!

Overall the hotel was good. The door locks worked VERY poorly. It always took several tries to get the door open. No hot tub anymore. Typical minimal continental breakfast. Staff were very nice. Gym was closed due to AC issues.

Just a few notes off the top of my head. The floor in the bathroom was sticky, the room had a musty smell which you could only smell when you turned off the a/c. The beds were super soft, which I'm not a fan of because it causes me back pain. The breakfast buffet was good with a few options for everyone. The staff at the front desk (Brian) was very personable and helpful. The main let down was that the pool was closed which was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel.

At check in and thru our entire stay Bryan was amazing! He was friendly, accommodating and even brought us extra blankets . He is a perfect person to have at the front desk makes the guest feel very welcome. Our room however was not very clean , the people before us must have a small child that spilt stuff all over the comforters and what we believe were boogers smeared on them and trail mix was everywhere under tables, on the side of the beds, in the Ac unit. The door between the bedroom and living area was filthy and some sort of food mixture at toddler heighth all over it. My grandson is very allergic to peanuts and our dogs found the trail mix right away so we had to spend a few minutes picking it up from all places it was spilt and had to clean the door off. Our main concern was the dirty used comforters. We watched house keeping bring sheets in but never did they bring new comforters. Bryan came to the rescue and brought us additional blankets and new clean comforters. Breakfast was fresh, good and had a great variety.

Water was brown when I first turned it on. Refrigerator didn’t work but the person on staff refused to move me to another room. Carpet was excessively stained and smelled of urine. On the other hand, breakfast was nice and the lady who managed it was very friendly and helpful.

We had a horrible experience. Stayed for one night. Our room had not been cleaned properly and our blanket was old shabby and torn. The tub had clumps of black hairs in it. I notified the front desk and was told there was no other room to move to that the best the young lady could do was as to leave a note for the property manager. The property manager never reached out to me after 4 days I called Expedia of which I booked the stay. They sent an email to the property manager about the experience and asked for a full or even partial refund. The hotel manager said no refund is there policy sorry. That’s a load of crap. I paid for a nasty room and was not even able to shower. This shows bad leadership and bad costumer service. Everyone makes mistakes but acknowledge the mistake and apologize then learn from those mistakes and do better the next time. I also have pictures.

The hotel itself structurally is pleasing and well designed with plenty of parking. however, there seems to be a lack of clenliness. The carpets could use a cleaning in lobby, 1st and 3rd floors.. We did not see other floors. Disturbingly, when we arrived in our room we found that someone had urinated literally all over the seat. Long enough before that it had dried onto it. We cleaned it ourselves and reported it to the front desk on our way out to dinner. The person behind the desk did not seem overly concerned but wrote down our room number. The next morning at breakfast, I tried to use the bathroom facilities in the public restroom and found that sometime over the night someone had dedicated or had issues where defecation had fallen on the floor in the stall. It had been there long enough to have mostly dried in place and others had tracked it elsewhere in the restroom. I again reported it to the front desk without much of a surprised look or apology. In short, it is a beautiful hotel in a great spot, but it does not seem to be being maintained in a way that will keep it nice, and it is beginning to show. Positive: The beds were great. the shower was FANTASTIC. Just a caring upkeep and attention to detail and this place is top notch.

This place was disgusting. We changed rooms three times. The first room had a huge roach, the second room mold in the AC, the third room had mold in the shower. The carpet throughout the hotel was full of stains. The trash by the hotel lobby entrance was running over. We pulled up the three employees were outside one was smoking. We get to the lobby a sign was on the desk that an attendant would be back in 10 min that was handwritten. Dust all on the check in computer monitors. We were to afraid to eat the breakfast because where one roach is at another roach is close by. The room had food on the carpet, refrigerator had stains and the shower didn’t have a waterproof liner. I had to bleach, disinfect the room. Stains on the headboards looked like oil or grease. I mopped the bathroom floor. I will never book a room without a cancellation again. all the local hotels were sold out of a double Queen. No discount offered!The night attendant stayed in the back office behind the desk. Trash in the trash can of a supposedly cleaned room

The cleanliness of this hotel was really bad. Not one to usually complain but be warned. The smell coming into the lobby was not pleasant. The lighting is deem but I think it is to hide the fact that the floors and walls etc are not very clean. The first room we were given, as soon as you came in the smell was overwhelming. There was red stains which I can only conclude was throw up all over the carpet given the smell. The walls were dirty like someone had thrown things on them without cleaning up. The bathroom floor was so sticky I can’t imagine it was even cleaned. The sheets were stained and so were the curtains. You could tell someone partied a little too hard and no one cleaned it up. No way someone cleaned that room. I can’t tell you how disgusting it was. The second room was much better but it was right off the elevator and you could hear everyone coming up. I would not recommend staying here.

I have stayed here for the past 3 years when i visit my son in Charlotte and have never had an issue until this visit. There was horrible wi-fi service and it was beyond frustrating. My boyfriend was trying to do work and he couldn't and I couldnt access certain sites i needed. we were told 2 different things when we asked at the front desk what was going on. I paid a lot for the 3 night stay and was very frustrated!

One night stay for 2 people was excellent. Nice size room. Bed was comfortable with lots of pillows, room was quiet, towels were fluffy, and temperature was easy to adjust in the room. Shower was hot. Breakfast had decent variety. Refrigerator was a bit loud and was leaking, but was still ok. Nice dark room was good for sleeping. Lots of plugs for charging. Wish I had my own hair dryer though because not much air blowing from one they provide. Would stay again if I was in the area.

After we had checked into our room, we discovered that 2 lamps and the TV set did not operate. Upon calling the front desk, we were told there was no maintenance available that evening and we would have to change rooms. We repacked our belongings and relocated to another room. After unpacking again, we attempted to turn on the TV and again, it did not operate. I noticed that the cable box was at an angle under the TV, and when I looked behind the TV, the HDMI cable from the TV which was too short by at least 12 inches was totally disconnected from the cable box. I propped the cable box more steeply and reconnected the HDMI so the TV would operate. The tub in the bathroom has no safety rails and no non-slip strips, so getting in and out and showering are dangerous.

First, it was on my route. Second, the gentleman at the front desk (I believe he said his name was Brian), was GREAT. He was personable and knowledgeable ... definitely an asset to your organization. I actually chose this hotel because of how he answered my questions on the phone. Of all the places I called, he was the only one who made me feel as if I were important enough to take the time to talk with.

Arrived late to a room without a flushing toilet. Though it did not appear clogged, night staff just gave us a plunger and told us she could not change our room. We had to go down from the 3rd floor to the 1st to use the restroom. Manager offsite the following day but authorized minor compensation that was then never provided. Manager does not return calls. We found out from staff that 6 rooms had plumbing problems that night and that there was a room available to move us to. Horrible experience. Be warned, they will not help if you have an issue.

It was a decent enough stay overall. When I first arrived, no one was at the front desk for a long period of time to check us in around 10pm. A line started to form around the desk. I said "hello" loudly to get staff's attention and Brian came from down the hall with an attitude saying to stop yelling at him. That he heard whoever it was the first time, there was no need to continue. We all looked confused because I only said it once. After an exchange of blames, Brian realized that he never put his sign up saying that he would be back in a moment. We apologized to each other and understood each other's frustrations. The next day at the snack shop/store, the female working the desk had a nasty attitude towards myself and my friend as if we were bothering her because we stood at the window instead of walking around to the front desk. We just did not know and asking her got ignored. Other than that, the room was clean but freezing. The thermostat only moved 1 degree every so often. The pool was nice.

We had to go down to the front desk every single time for new keys, which also did not work, Their nighttime front desk gentleman was extremely helpful & several times had to come to open our door! He was particularly excellent. The free breakfast was pitiful…. Powdered egg patties & horrible gray/ looking sausage patties were the only hot food available & we wouldn’t’t even dare to eat them ! Juice machine was broken & so this was not available! !We settled for a bowl of cereal & yogurt….. does not compare to any other hotel chains’ free breakfast - the hostess there was especially nice, but she was not responsible for what was offered….will not book here again & we come to Huntersville several times a year - sorry !!!

My weekend was for Friday-Monday. I called on Friday because I knew I was going to check in late due to traveling 6 hours, so I wanted to know if there were any additional deposits or what was the latest you can check in. I spoke with a younger man who said that there are no deposits/preauthorizations, the latest check in is 4am, but they can charge my card for a portion of the balance due and I would just pay the remaining at the hotel. I was like that's fine. They charged my card and I was under the impression that I would just pay the remaining balance at check in. No. I was charged the price of the full stay and the portion they took out. I understand if there were any additional deposits but when you tell a customer that they only have to pay the remaining....they should honor that. I ended up paying over $200 more for my room. They even provided me with receipts where I pointed out how the math on the receipts didn't even make sense. I tried to get help at the front desk several times and was met with "The manager isn't here and will be here tomorrow"...then every day we checked if they were in...of course he wasn't and nobody could provide us with a number to call or an email or anything. Extremely disappointed in my stay here. Will not be coming again and I don't recommend you do either. They don't care about your stay. They only care about your money.

Construction on the main road made it dangerous and difficult to pull out of the hotel. Hopefully, they resolve that quickly. Otherwise, I felt the location was very convenient to accessing the highway and many local stores and restaurants.

Being that this is a location in NC, it would have been nice to be able to have an area that was an outside sitting area. Since it is not really SAFELY walkable to anything, the times where we were at the hotel, we just had to sit in our room. It would have been nice to have an outside seating area and maybe a gas fireplace or 2 for patrons to utilize.

At check in and thru our entire stay Bryan was amazing! He was friendly, accommodating and even brought us extra blankets . He is a perfect person to have at the front desk makes the guest feel very welcome. Our room however was not very clean , the people before us must have a small child that spilt stuff all over the comforters and what we believe were boogers smeared on them and trail mix was everywhere under tables, on the side of the beds, in the Ac unit. The door between the bedroom and living area was filthy and some sort of food mixture at toddler heighth all over it. My grandson is very allergic to peanuts and our dogs found the trail mix right away so we had to spend a few minutes picking it up from all places it was spilt and had to clean the door off. Our main concern was the dirty used comforters. We watched house keeping bring sheets in but never did they bring new comforters. Bryan came to the rescue and brought us additional blankets and new clean comforters. Breakfast was fresh, good and had a great variety.

The absolute worst breakfast of any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. They served warm cut up hard boiled eggs in place of scrambled eggs, plain oatmeal with no options, waffle maker, but no waffle mix or syrup and a juice machine that drips on your hands and on the floor when you try to get a glass. It’s gross.

One night stay for 2 people was excellent. Nice size room. Bed was comfortable with lots of pillows, room was quiet, towels were fluffy, and temperature was easy to adjust in the room. Shower was hot. Breakfast had decent variety. Refrigerator was a bit loud and was leaking, but was still ok. Nice dark room was good for sleeping. Lots of plugs for charging. Wish I had my own hair dryer though because not much air blowing from one they provide. Would stay again if I was in the area.

The breakfast was very basic. The juice machine had HOT juice, and the staff told me to just add ice to the drink. YUCK! There was a weird smell of a floor cleaner or disinfectant in the lobby and even outside in the courtyard. It was pretty unpleasant. One of the lights in the bathroom kept flickering. The toilet kept running and we had to keep "jiggling" the handle to get it to stop. (we were only there two nights, otherwise I would have requested another room, or perhaps left and stayed at another hotel)
