Best Western Northfields Ealing Hotel -Northfield station Elizabeth line

Used this hotel for 2 nights around a business trip to London. Very well placed - with excellent access to the Underground at Northfields. A good selection of eating/drinking places within a few minutes walk. Our room was on the top floor and surprisingly had a balcony. Well fitted out, clean and comfortable. The common areas are looking a little worn - but nothing that impacted our stay. The front desk staff and concierge were really helpful. Limited car parking available, but we were able to find a slot at the place next door (ECC) for one night and a staff slit at the hotel for the other.

I've now been staying quite often when down in London for work combining with leisure or transiting through longer trips. This is a perfect location with easy access to tube, buses, affordable parking and a lovely neighbourhood filled with independent shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs/micro brew pubs. The hotel itself has always been just right for all the different reasons I've stayed. Been given a quiet room when requested for working. The family rooms are incredibly spacious and those as well as the superior rooms come with fridge, sink and microwave. Beds are really comfortable and the free wifi is strong. Bathrooms are well equipped and showers have decent water pressure. Front Desk staff are always friendly and solution-focussed. Very accommodating and helpful too. I've never had the breakfast but only because there is just so much to choose from locally. Can't wait for their newly constructed bar/restaurant to open. Delighted with our latest stay as we'd been upgraded because we were regulars. This was very welcome after flight delays. We will be returning and recommending.

Beautiful room, lovely service, the restaurant had halal options and the wings were amazing. Sulaiman tended to all our needs and was great. The hotel is right next to the tube station and bus stops so easy to get everywhere. The only thing is the aircon is max 26 degrees and kept turning off so was a bit cold during the night and our room was next to some train tracks so a little noisy but would definitely stay here again if I’m in west London.

Great location for Northfields underground so good access to other areas. Generally very good as a base for a stay with friends and travel across the city. Shops, bars, restaurants in easy walking distance. Good continental breakfast. Lift may be useful for some guests. Nice staff. Very helpful, friendly and a good source of local recommendations. Only minor gripe is that in the spacious superior room, at basement level next to the breakfast room and which has a microwave, fridge and kettle, the wet room bathroom has only a small sink that will not hold water as it will not take a plug. Wet shaving a bit tricky as a result. Wet room is equipped with a disabled Doc M pack and a ceiling pull cord alarm system. Similar pull cord alarm in the bedroom. Neither cord was hanging to the floor but tied up - in the bedroom it was tied to a bedside light. I am not disabled but I am aware of the regulations. No doubt easily remedied but a bit strange. Nonetheless, one of our party who is not disabled but has some mobility issues was delighted to find a wet room in this class of room. Generally very pleased. Will return.

I have celiac disease and so I needed to buy and bring my own food with me.....LUCKILY they have a refrigerator (majority of hotels in London do not have one). I encountered a few hiccups with my room but staff was very accommodating and awesome with everything!! I definitely book here when I come back to London

Since the site specified a bar, restaurant and parking, it was a reasonable expectation that these would be available at the hotel. Parking was available nearby, but it is usual for hotels to have a bar and restaurant. Feel hotel was misrepresented itself. Could have chosen a cheaper hotel that did include these things. Also found empty water bottle under the bed and unused postcards left in room from earlier guest. Bed was comfortable and room was spacious.

Nice place. Good people. The heating in my room was faulty (only blew cold!) But the reception staff were quick to come up and sort it out. My biggest problem however was the lack of parking. The nearest place was around 100m away and cost £15 for the night. I don't mind the charge, but I like my car to be outside the place I'm staying. Not in some dark public car park where I can't see it!

Spacious room and bathroom! Clean and comfortable beds. Location was perfect for catching the tube. The kitchenette was great for an easy meal after a long day of touring London. Will book again!

Very warm welcome with the Front Desk staff recognising me as a regular. The new restaurant's offers were clearly displayed and i was given a brief tour. Room, first time a single one, was spacious with a good amount of space to spread belongings out. All clean, functioning and everything there that you'd need.

A little gem at such a fair price by London standards and the staff couldn’t do enough to ensure your stay went well. We had a superior king kitchenette on 3rd floor with balcony - perfect! We’ll be back !

We have never been in a Best Western that was as poorly cleaned and maintained as this one. Check in: told original Rm had problem put in Rm 109 for 1 night. Wed Apr 30: Returned to hotel at 1900 to find Rm 112 had not been cleaned, cups & glasses taken to front desk requesting clean towels, glasses & cups. Asked if we put sign on door, there was no sign in our Rm. Sign delivered the next day. Thur May 1: Fridge not wkg. Front desk & request get fridge fixed & request a meeting with manager. Told they would advise her. Sat May 3: English breakfast tea bags not replaced Sun May 4: To front desk for toilet paper - no extra roll left in Rm Sat May 10: To front desk 1900 to get clean cups and glasses only dirty ones left in Rm During rest of stay: - only peppermint and green tea left - Fridge requires reset at plug off and on - Floors not vacumed, - Baseboards not cleaned, - Table tops sometimes cleaned - Once in a while there is a bag in garbage bucket The hallway and Rm carpets are stained and need deep cleaning. The tiles on the floor in the bath Rm need cementing down and grouting in both of the Rm’s we stay in. Stair case was not cleaned the first week we were there. There was a spiders nest in the corner of the 1st floor and a bandaid on the stair for the whole 1st week of our visit. This is a great location right across from the Piccadilly line close to airport & downtown - But it needs some real work

Hard to rate this place fairly - location great - opposite tube and S/c options and little supermarket within 2 minute walk - perfect - bathrooms are great, bedlinen lovely, towels large, soft and terrific HOWEVER, the common area carpets are seriously old, severely stained, surrounding woodwork is very dusty and clearly no one hooveres the corridors with the room doors open (underneath v dusty). If they replaced the carpet the place would be HUGELY improved bordering on fabulous (well, if they had triple glazing on the train track side of the building) the level of attention to detail to the bedding and bathrooms is 1000 times better than that given to the common areas. So, don't be put off by the old and very stained brown carpet - the rest is really good- though rooms on first floor not as nice as some higher up.

It was one of the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in. Lovely comfortable bed. Definitely on my list to revisit.

No towels in our room. Fire alarm went off at about 6 am. Corridors undergoing works. Story dirty. Bed comfortable and bathroom very clean. Great location for a stay before flying out of Heathrow.

This is good value for a basic property in a convenient location. The property was undergoing some repairs while we were there, but the noise was bearable. The rooms are basic and clean. However, the hallways feel rather run down, cardboard on the ceiling and the hallway carpets are very worn and stained.

This was an emergency stay as I didn't have any heating in my flat. The ground floor room was very warm. Shower was amazing and hot. The TV didn't have reception of all Freeview channels but it had a clear picture. I would stay again as everything was so clean. Sandeep at reception was super helpful too.

The receptionist was very helpful and let us check-in half an hour earlier than check in time. When entering the room it was quite small but adequate. It was however very dirty, the walls in particular were very dirty with something disgusting (not sure what) stuck on one of the walls. The curtains were falling off the rail on one side. The bathroom was clean but had an eggy smell coming from the toilet! The duvet cover had a small black mark on it.

Dirty, leaks and running water. Carpets filthy, garbage outside window from other residence, stains on sheets. Simply the worst and not a good look for this brand at all. Will question stays in Best Western from now on. Price for accommodation simply ridiculous.

Very clean room, great. Curtains in a poor state - not fitted correctly... not attached at the walls, unable to be pulled together to blockout light - especially from the bright street lamp.

A good hotel with a surprisingly good breakfast, nice beds and the room was huge Very close to the underground, I good hotel for a reasonable cost and I do recommend

I had a basic, single room but it was clean & comfortable and quiet so I had a really good nights sleep. Across the road from the Tube Station so easy access into Central London.

We stayed for 3 nights here, the bed was really uncomfortable and the room only fit the bed basically. Thankfully we were out and about all day as the property was in a super convent location, literally across the street to the Piccadilly line which brought us to central London and directly to the airport. There’s also some nice restaurants nearby but I wouldn’t stay here for any longer than we did solely because of the mattress. If you just need a place to crash for a few days when you’re travelling around the Uk then this place wasn’t horrible compared to the price of some other places.

Much better than I expected. Our king room was a decent size with a nice big bathroom. Window was small but the lighting was nice a bright. We stayed to attend a concert at Gunnersbury park, easy 15 to 20 min walk.

Money for quality is fine. Small rooms, noisy aircon

The environment is good, opposite a train and bus station. The room by the train track is noisy. The toilet is clean but small for a best Western hotel. I think this is acceptable in London hotels when compared to hotels in the US where you have big bathroom and toilet. With the kitchenette, i expected a bit of cutleries, and a cooker, not just microwave and fridge with a washing area. Overall I will say that the staff are well mannered and accessible and they listen to your complaint and try to resolve it. The size of the toilet and bath is basically what i dont like. It is made for a small or short person

Excellent from the minute we walked through the door. Reception was very good and always there to answer anything. Clean friendly and excellent location to go in to London on underground.

Excellent service, warm welcome. Plates and cutlery loaned for our takeaway from a local restaurant. Early check-in offered as rooms were ready. This really helped my octogenarian mother who'd had a long drive up to London. Wifi excellent access. Location superb for tube and buses and all the different food and drink venues. Everything was clean. One of our 2 rooms is beginning to show signs of wear and tear but I've no doubt it's on their list of renovations.

There was an issue finding my booking when we went to check in, when we eventually got into our room is was freezing cold and there was an issue with the heating. Breakfast was awful, as was the service in the restaurant. The overall condition of the hotel was pretty poor. I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

Well located Hotel facing the tube station (Northfields). The room (number 5) is quite big and overall our stay was not bad. The only issue is with the two cleaners (two young men). They are not professional. They asked us to come back 20 minutes later to let them clean the room so we went out. When we came back the room was not done and they were nowhere to be found. They even lied to the receptionist who had to come over and send them a video to their manager to prove that the room has not been done. Needless to stay we spend another night in an uncleaned bedroom.

Bathroom smelled like mildew for our two night stay. The entire hotel was woken up at 6:30am by a fire alarm malfunction. The hotel staff could not give a direct answer as to why the fire alarm kept sounding for close to an hour. They only ensure us that the fire alarm was malfunctioning, not reassurance on the staff verify floor by floor that no fire was actual present. Only that “someone was working on it”. Location of the hotel is great but staff and hotel condition was worse than expected.

I have stayed a number of times. The staff, although varied, are always friendly and courteous and VERY kind. Really good people and genuine.

Very convenient to LHR and Piccadilly line into London. Amazing coffee down the street at Poison Ivy coffee.

Perfectly located opposite a Zone 3 tube station with a mini supermarket and coffee shop a few feet away. Standard Room on first floor a decent size with a good size bathroom. Very comfortable. Room well equipped with enough storage space for bags, clothes and shoes. Plug & USB sockets next to both sides of the bed which was very comfortable with extra pillows and cushions. Good walk-in shower with good water pressure and heat. Friendly reception staff willing to help in any way. Great location with buses and tubes a few feet away.

Right at the tube station, very convenient

This hotel provides the perfect solution to easy access to both Heathrow and Central London, being right across from the Northfields station. The staff were very kind.

Softer pillows would be good but a very nice area and nice place to stay.

Very friendly manager, he will look after you when needed. The location was perfect for us, just 1 tube away to the airport and the city centre.

The location is sooo convenient. Could hear the train but it wasn't bothersome. Good coffee shops nearby too. Not fancy but perfect for a quick run into London; would stay again.

This is our second stay at the hotel which is ideally situated for both Heathrow airport and central london with excellent bus and tube connections. The hotel is clean and tidy and beds comfy. The staff are fabulous and go above and beyond to help with whatever questions you have. We ate at the adjoining restaurant Oofys again and Zico was brilliant, fast and friendly service and he makes the most amazing cocktails! Also thanks to Sandeep on reception for finding the ideal room for us. Looking forward to next stay!

Did the job. Room was good. Continental breakfast only and not the best. Would definitely stay again. Will probably eat elsewhere, there are plenty of good cafés nearby. Great transport links.

It was very minimalist without any drawers/microwave/fridge but it was clean and serviced well. The breakfast was a full English breakfast with fruit, yogurt, bread, coffee and croissants. The servers were very efficient at cleaning tables and helping out.

It was a nice hotel, very clean. But the breakfast was a huge disappointment. It was a continental but barely even that, I wish I had known before as I wouldn’t have paid extra for it.

Reasonably priced. Recently done up, rather cheaply but acceptable. Friendly staff. No how breakfast is available but plenty of options.

The hotel is in excellent location, just across the Northfield Train Station. It is kept immaculately clean and the staff are very friendly. They need however to improve on their breakfast menu. It is a little bit spartan.

The best I can say is it was ok and very convenient for tube. Rooms are clean and modern. However the downside of travel convenience is the terrible noise from the tube. Most disappointing of all was the meagre breakfast. Continental only. Breakfast room was a white room with tables and a couple of plants. Little thought given to comfort or making this a positive experience. Staff were ok but nothing special. Not particularly welcoming. It wasn’t especially cheap either
