We had the weirdest experience at this motel. When we arrived, the woman at the front desk seemed utterly confused that we wanted to check in from an online booking. The first room she gave us had a smoke detector with a low battery, so it loudly beeped every minute. After we asked for either a new battery or a new room, she seemed mildly annoyed that we were complaining. The new room she gave us had no smoke detector at all (we found it detached and hidden in a drawer), smelled funky, and had weird stains on the sheets. The best I can describe it as is “crusty.” We definitely were not the target audience for this motel and would not recommend it. Stay at Motel 6 across the street instead. Extra star because it was cheap.

They didn’t have my reservation nor did they even try to find it. There were half naked people out front. They claimed to be pet friendly but told us no when we got there. When I said I booked online they were very surprised. I can’t get a refund.

There was nothing to recommend this property. First you could not go into the office but your key is given to you through a window. If you are unlucky enough to come on a rainy day it would be an issue (fortunately it wasn't). Went to the front door and it said to press the button and there was a button on the door but it was not the right one. It was at the window. The person who gave us the key berated me for not knowing this. Went into the room and the smell was overwhelming, it was right out of the 1960s. Although it was relatively clean looking, the mattresses were miss shapened and ran down hill from the foot to the head. The bathroom was in poor condition with small glass shelf that the metal hangers were completely rusted. We decided to pay for the room leave and go to another hotel. We never used the room. For 20 dollars more we got a very nice modern hotel.

This property is unfit for habitation. It is very outdated and appeared as if it should be condemned. The bedroom was the size of a small garage and the restroom looked like prison bathroom. My husband and I travel all over the country and have stayed in hundreds of hotels. I’ve never refused to stay in a hotel but this was an exception. We both agreed within moments of arriving that we would feel safer sleeping in our car. So we left. When I returned the keys, the woman at the front desk immediately informed me that we would not be getting our money back and that they offered no refunds. Make sure you lay eyes on this hotel before you pay in advance.
