This was my first trip to Puerto Vallarta and my stay at Casa Velas was amazing. The staff are so kind and attentive and the food was amazing!!! Loved having access to the beach even though the hotel isn’t right on the beach. I would definitely stay again!

Casa Velas is a very nice boutique resort closer to the airport and Marina. It's very quiet and safe, security at the gate checks the guests in and out. Room is spacious and well decorated. What makes this resort stand out is its superb service! Hats off to the entire staff at Casa Velas, from the front desk to the shuttle drivers and the servers at the restaurants and poolside. We were really pampered by the staff during our one week stay at Casa Velas. It's also nice to have options to dine and use the facilities at its sister resorts - the Tau Beach Club and Velas Vallarta, which is only a 3 min shuttle ride. Guests can dine at any restaurant in the three resorts. Food is acceptable for an all inclusive resort but we wish the quality is better for the price we paid. Breakfast at Emiliano is good, lunch and dinner at Tau Beach Club are better. Special thanks to Velas Vallarta front desk staff. I left my shirt in the ballroom where the Fiesta event was held. Not only the staff found my shirt, they also delivered it to Casa Velas. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay at Casa Velas. We were fully recharged at the end of our vacation.

They had an amazing restaurant md great pool! The private pool for my room was fantastic as well. The service was amazing. Included in my stay was access to their other resort with more dining options, pools, and a private beach AND access to Tau Beach a 21+ only beach with a restaurant two jacuzzis and a pool. I was very impressed!

This is a perfect resort for a couple or smaller group of friends looking to get away to a nice, quiet resort in Puerto Vallarta. Though there is only one main restaurant on the property, it is excellent. There was entertainment every night we were there (a week), but it didn't go on until late hours so not a party place...which was nice for us. The resort pool and vibe is first rate and we enjoyed ending our "beach days" there. Probably the most underrated part of the resort package is the access to the private Tau Beach Club which is included in the all inclusive package. It is a 3 minute shuttle ride and this was normally available almost instantly. We went to the Club everyday and the service, food and drinks were top rate...the team at Tau were excellent, service oriented and very friendly; it was energetic but not too busy at Tau and we were always able to get a cabana. We also had dinner there two nights (lobster both times), including our last night which was at a special sunset table which we really enjoyed. Will definitely return to Casa Velas.

We had an incredible stay. The food was stellar for an all-inclusive. Absolutely beautiful experience. The beach club is a short drive away, but the transportation is like curbside assistance. Concierge is so helpful. It was really nice. Will go back!

Terrible.this is not all inclusive resort it’s just old hotel with one restaurant. It’s far from beach . They don’t offer you all inclusive benefits because they close bar & restaurant like regular dining. You don’t have choice to eat in different places because they have one restaurant and small bar . Pool has basic bar and they open 12-6pm . Almost you don’t have any happiness because nobody stay there. Don’t waist your time and money. Not recommended at all

The hotel is located in a fantastic area in the Marina district, offering a convenient location (though NOT on the beach). However, the rooms are in significant need of upgrades. Everything—from the bathrooms and faucets to the flooring, windows, and overall decor—feels outdated and worn. When we first arrived, we were assigned a room on a lower floor beneath the lobby level. Unfortunately, the room had a strong damp and humid smell, which made it very uncomfortable to stay in. We requested a move to an upper-level room, and the staff was very accommodating. Although they informed us that the bathtubs in the two upper available rooms were not functional, we still opted to move, as staying on the lower floor was not an option. The highlight of our stay was definitely the restaurant. There’s only one on-site, but the food quality for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was outstanding. Drinks were excellent as well, made with Don Julio tequila. The dining experience truly stood out. Another fantastic feature was the spa. While the massages were not included in the all-inclusive package, they were well worth the cost and added a relaxing touch to our stay. In summary, while the rooms need considerable updates, the excellent food, accommodating staff, and luxurious spa ensured we still had an enjoyable experience overall.

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at Casa Velas and it never disappoints. Staff are friendly from the moment we got there and are always going above and beyond to make us feel special. The cleanliness of the rooms is impeccable and the food is delicious.

I have stayed at Casa Velas twice now and both time have been great. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and attentive. The property is well maintained and has a nice citrus smell throughout. The food all though a bit limited is really good, I recommend this ceviche vallarta and the chilaquiles. The restaurant staff is amazing, shout out to Avalos for always taking care of me, also Oscar, Jesus and everyone there really. It’s very quite and peaceful if your coming to just relax.

El servicio estuvo muy bien, solo pienso que en cuanto habitación necesitan revisarlas antes de entregarlas, hubo detalles como que la TV no servía, la cortina rota, las ventanas del baño no abrían y no hay aire en el baño, por lo mismo con el calor se sofoca. La comida de buena calidad. Gracias

I booked for 4 days at this great place. I went for a relaxation trip and it was a great choice for it. It was down season so there were not many fellow tourists around. The service was amazing and I felt like I was treated much like a family member of their staff. Omar at the restaurant was so personable, kind and just an overall great person. He provided some of the best service in a restaurant I have ever received. From all staff on site they had exceptional customer service and kindness I loved the room and outside patio / dip pool where I could relax at my own will. The main pool was also great.

We loved our stay. Everything was perfect - the staff were always there to help, room service was great, the two restaurants were beautiful and the food was delicious, our room was private and had a beautiful outside tub surrounded by tropical flowers, the check in and out was flawless and fast and overall this is now our favourite resort in all of Mexico.

Everything was perfect - the staff were always there to help, room service was great, the two restaurants were beautiful and the food was delicious, our room was private and had a beautiful outside tub surrounded by tropical flowers, the check in and out was flawless and fast and overall this is now our favourite resort in all of Mexico.

Our room was very comfortable. I cannot say enough about the level of service all around the hotel, and especially at the restaurant Emiliano. Jose, Jesus and everyone else were always ready to please and ask what else they could do for us. Perfect for adults that are looking for peace and relaxation. The only small event, was losing my mom's cell near the hotel's beach club last night. If the cell is returned, I would certainly give this hotel 5 stars.

We had a number of flashing lights in our room 309. Fire detector flashed all night above the bed and the connection to the internet lit up throughout the night. The room was out of date….sliding door hard to open , Outside hot tub was nasty. Stained and sliced in the cement. No way would we would use it. However we enjoyed our stay very much. Staff were delightful.. entertainment was excellent ..

This was my first trip to Puerto Vallarta and my stay at Casa Velas was amazing. The staff are so kind and attentive and the food was amazing!!! Loved having access to the beach even though the hotel isn’t right on the beach. I would definitely stay again!

The hotel and the amenities are okay. There is however an obvious deceptive presentation of hotel's pictures giving the patron an impression that he facility isn't the beach. This is a blatant misrepresentation by the facility as the entire facilities ty is for ve to ten minutes away from the ocean. Consequently all their rooms are garbage den view. Moreover, the rooms smell old and there is only one restaurant on premises (a rather unexpected thing for an all inclusive resort). Furthermore, when we reminded the management about the VIP upgrade, they tried to sucker us into paying extra money for the upgrade. The irony is that the majority of rooms were empty. In all we were happy that we changed resorts.

I will say this… this was my first time in Puerto Vallarta. I did a lot of research on hotels to pick the perfect luxury accommodations. I was EXTREMELY underwhelmed by this property. It’s advertised as a “beach front property” the beach is a 5 minute shuttle away (just FYI for those booking thinking they will be directly on the beach like we did.) the rooms look as pictures they are a bit humid and hot the A/C didn’t work the best. Don’t even get me started on the food. For $700 a night you would think the food would be outstanding. It was the blandest most tasteless and disgusting food I’ve ever had in my life. We checked out after 1 night and moved to another hotel. They are still fighting refunding me. BE AWARE!

Casa Velas is a very nice boutique resort closer to the airport and Marina. It's very quiet and safe, security at the gate checks the guests in and out. Room is spacious and well decorated. What makes this resort stand out is its superb service! Hats off to the entire staff at Casa Velas, from the front desk to the shuttle drivers and the servers at the restaurants and poolside. We were really pampered by the staff during our one week stay at Casa Velas. It's also nice to have options to dine and use the facilities at its sister resorts - the Tau Beach Club and Velas Vallarta, which is only a 3 min shuttle ride. Guests can dine at any restaurant in the three resorts. Food is acceptable for an all inclusive resort but we wish the quality is better for the price we paid. Breakfast at Emiliano is good, lunch and dinner at Tau Beach Club are better. Special thanks to Velas Vallarta front desk staff. I left my shirt in the ballroom where the Fiesta event was held. Not only the staff found my shirt, they also delivered it to Casa Velas. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay at Casa Velas. We were fully recharged at the end of our vacation.

They had an amazing restaurant md great pool! The private pool for my room was fantastic as well. The service was amazing. Included in my stay was access to their other resort with more dining options, pools, and a private beach AND access to Tau Beach a 21+ only beach with a restaurant two jacuzzis and a pool. I was very impressed!

This is a perfect resort for a couple or smaller group of friends looking to get away to a nice, quiet resort in Puerto Vallarta. Though there is only one main restaurant on the property, it is excellent. There was entertainment every night we were there (a week), but it didn't go on until late hours so not a party place...which was nice for us. The resort pool and vibe is first rate and we enjoyed ending our "beach days" there. Probably the most underrated part of the resort package is the access to the private Tau Beach Club which is included in the all inclusive package. It is a 3 minute shuttle ride and this was normally available almost instantly. We went to the Club everyday and the service, food and drinks were top rate...the team at Tau were excellent, service oriented and very friendly; it was energetic but not too busy at Tau and we were always able to get a cabana. We also had dinner there two nights (lobster both times), including our last night which was at a special sunset table which we really enjoyed. Will definitely return to Casa Velas.

The highlight of our stay was definitely the restaurant. There’s only one on-site, but the food quality for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was outstanding. Drinks were excellent as well, made with Don Julio tequila. The dining experience truly stood out. Another fantastic feature was the spa. While the massages were not included in the all-inclusive package, they were well worth the cost and added a relaxing touch to our stay. In summary, while the rooms need considerable updates, the excellent food, accommodating staff, and luxurious spa ensured we still had an enjoyable experience overall.

Beautiful property but have to take shuttle to sister property Beach Club to be on the beach. Disappointed we weren’t able have dinner at Beach Club for our last night. There couldn’t have been more than 10 people staying at the hotel for the entire week which seems strange. Same way the last time we were there, too.

Staff was great, everyone was helpful and friendly. Service poolside seemed a bit slow. Breakfasts served on our patio was wonderful. Other meals were beautiful but lacked flavor. Steak, fish, pasta all very bland.

Wine lists are inexpensive but drinkable Chilean wines. Extensive and decent cocktail list for an all inclusive. Dinner at sister resort (Velas Vallarta) nothing dpecial.. buffets and Andrea - italian Overall a beautiful place with nice facilities but you do pay for it.

The property was pretty, but the "private" beach club was not private at all. Only one restaurant on the property. Food was medeocre at best. Tips are supposed to be included, however, you have to she out every time you get food or drinks and there is an option for a tip. The beach club was closed some of the days and honestly, not worth the money AT ALL. we will not return. Waste of time and money. Limited menu and no amenities were offered, as what were offered on expedia. No one showed us around, we couldnt find the beach club. The couple days it was open, it was full. The propert is very misleading. False advertisement. Our spa credit did not accumulate and they literally had one menu to chose from, otherwise you had to ride by bus everywhere else. W ewere able to spend a total of maybe 4 hours on the back in a 5 day period.

Notably, Camila, Gerardo, and Omar at breakfast; Enrique, Carlos, and Antonio at Tao; Avaldo and Ramon at the Aqua Bar; and Daniel, Gerardo, Rigo, Rosacio at dinner. We’re already planning our next trip back! Not a complaint, but the only thing we’d like to see different is if Casa Velas would offer the build-your-own pasta dish offered for dinner, as it’s currently only on the lunch menu. The lunch menu at Emiliano's is so great, but we usually find ourselves at Tao or Aqua Bar...

Beautiful, quiet place. The pool was a bit too cold for our liking. The restaurant food was about a 7.

Amazing Resort!!! Highly recommend. The setting / proximity to the airport was perfect. Amenities are truly 5 star. And the staff was unforgettable!
