Not very good experience. Reported an issue, was not dealt with. Had to move room. 2nd room was not good. Could not get parked. Dodgy band on downstairs so banging noisy til 11 o clock.

Stayed a few times but this is the last. 02:25 and a loud buzzing which vibrated the wall of my room caused by next doors malfunctioning toilet which lasted till 04:10. Other residents came out of there room to locate the issue which also meant quite a few doors opening and shutting. You expect a decent night in an exe room but no. Reported to reception in the morning and they said they will look into it. Bar and staff are good but can’t comment on the food as always ate out. Car park is small but additional parking on road out front.

The room was excellent with a nice view from the window, see the attached picture, but a little cramped to get past the bed (only about 12 inches). The bathroom was adequate however there was a danger of banging your head on the sharp corner of the sink unit when your were sitting on the toilet if you weren't paying attention. The bed was very comfortable which is what it's all about, and all in all I would willingly recommend the hotel. The free car park is a bonus as long as you can get in. I had to give it a couple of goes before I managed to get parked.

Staff at hotel extremely friendly and polite, unfortunately room very disappointing.. Executive room booked, was sure we should have hsd a park view but we didn't. We booked 2 doubexec rooms but both almost the same... Dirty chair - see pic Dirt on outside if shower - sink and toilet clean but pic below of outside shower. Kettle completely limed up - see pic On the plus side bed clean and comfortable! CANNOT ADD PICS!

The staff were all friendly,inviting and hard working, the room was basic but perfect for us, comfy bed,was warm and adequate for our needs. The evening meal was lovely as was the breakfast and reasonably priced. If your one of those snobs who run fingers along skirting boards or delve into the various crevices in bathrooms then don't stay but if your like us ...enjoy a nice warm comfortable room, happy staff and excellent food then the regent is perfect for you. Definitely will stay again

This hotel has gone down hill, very tired looking now and in desperate need of updating and having money spent on it. We stayed in room 26 and we reported a loud buzzing noise on our way out to enjoy new years eve. On our return after being asleep for a short while the noise came back, then stopped then woke us up again several more times. I reported it to reception while checking out to be told " i will let the boss know" We certainly wont be going back to the Regent.

To Say we had an executive room was a little overstated. The room had a damp corner and heating was not on when we entered. Asked to be moved and the helpful girl on reception found us a better room. Hotel is very spread out and not a lot to look out onto apart from run down buildings. No breakfast served on new years day but the following day we had a lovely breakfast.

Unexpectedly stranded in Doncaster last night after train cancellations and I couldn't have chosen a better emergency stop. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and understanding both in the evening and morning. My room, although basic was so comfortable. I don't usually sleep well in my own in hotel rooms (even though I travel a lot alone), but I had a great night's sleep. Great water pressure on the very basic shower, and the towels are even big enough to get around a big girl like me! Thanks guys!!

A warm welcome on arrival at this hotel which stands in pleasant surroundings just a short walk away from city centre. Room was very comfortable with a nice view over a leafy square. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment but otherwise cannot fault the service and would recommend The Regent for a short city break in Doncaster.

Good location if you need the centre. Not far in a taxi to the wildlife park for a concert. Good value, friendly staff, nice room and view onto the Square. (Hot water was very hot! I should have mentioned it when checking out, sorry!) Would recommend this hotel.

excellent location, right in the heart of the city centre...good value on room rates...breakfast very good but too expensive at £15 although it was all freshly made...would stay here again

On check in was told there was no breakfast served on New Years day! Which was a little disappointing. Room was standed needs a little up dating . There was no heating on in the room , however after reporing it to reception it was rectified . We attended the peaky blinders event . Have to say it was a very enjoyable evening . The buffet food was excelent . Well laid out lovely staff serving us . We were also given a complementary glass of bubbles to see new year in. Although we were given no breakfast , cant fault staff everyone was friendly & accommodating .

The hotel was clean altho a little jaded. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We were alittle shocked at the prices in the residents bar though as a round of drinks were double the price if orher bars!! .

The hotel was lovely. It had friendly staff and it was very convenient to get into the town Centre but we thought the only downfall was the drinks were expensive at the Bar. but we had a lovely stay
