Reviews portray Earl Of Doncaster Hotel as a stylish Art Deco base with welcoming staff, generally clean and spacious rooms, and a convenient location for the racecourse and town, though some rooms feel dated and temperature control can disappoint.

The hotel is stunning, the decor is superb. Parking is round the back, same side of hotel drive up to memorial and turn left to head round the back. Staff were lovely although room service was poor and the ohone wasn't answered when we called down. We ate in the restaurant and the phone rang several times and wasn't answer again. Diane on reception did say to call reception if we had the problem again. The hunters chicken panini had quite a sour bbq sauce, the club sandwich was spot on. You do get a mountain of food too, especially the fries. You can also order in from local takeaways but you have to eat it in your room. The beside lights kept blowing and going off but after a while worked again. The water pressure was great and the bath took very little time to fill, it was piping hot too. The shower was perfect and the mirror had a demist part where the sink is which was perfect. Overall a great hotel, great staff and great amenities, would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend. There's also a table and chairs in the room and 3 huge windows. You may have to retune the tv, do that when you arrive to save faffing later.

The room was well equipped, nice and clean. Staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast, initially thought was a bit pricey but, was well worth it the the waitress that served us was very sweet. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone else.

Lovely art deco hotel, Room was clean, but none of the USBs worked, noisy at times, which sounded mechanical. Staff were great, very friendly, plenty of parking too. I would stay here again.
