I think the biggest weak point of this hotel is its restaurant and breakfast. It is far from the hotel and not enough proper and acceptable. It is very poor. Also, the pool of the hotel is very small and its water doesn't clean regularly.

The elevator wasnt working so you had to use the stairs with the baggage for going to the room. For spleep and staty close to the main areas in Ciudad del Carmen is not bad.

My condo was under renovations for the pool this week so I was looking for somewhere nice to stay for the night that had a pool. Upon checking in I went to the rooftop pool to realize there’s no water in the pool and that it was in fact also under maintenance this is very disappointing and I checked out immediately I Feel like I wasted my money. You should be letting people know before they book that the pool is not in use.

We booked 21 nights thru Expedia. The pool is absolutely terrible and unsafe for anyone with any mobility issues, after 5 nights we found a new location and checked out. The hotel will not reply to Expedia or ourselves and we sent 2 messages to the President of BFH Hotel chain. No response to any of messages. Overall the hotel isn’t too bad but the fact that they won’t reply is really annoying. We paid for 21 nights, stayed for 5 and want a refund for 16 nights due to my wife not being able to access or get out of the pool..

Todo super , lo único malo que el elevador no funcionaba

bien ubicado, pero no tiene estacionamiento y el servicio que dan de desayuno es muy tardado el cual es fuera de las intalaciones del hotel.

Close to the main drag and walkable to the beach. many good restaurants in the direct neighborhood. also close to town square which has daily eveningmakets. pool is nice, tallest building in the area. not used much. nice quiet place to swim and relax.

exccelente ubicacion, el unico detalle es que no tiene estacionamiento y que el servicio del restaurante epazote es pesimo el hotel en general muy bonito

So disgusting. Water smells like feces, enjoy not showering properly. So outdated. Room was so dirty and pillows covered in strangers hair. Not as advertised. No one speaks English. Would give zero stars if I could.

Towels were only available every 3 days, the shower was never clean, we had to complain to get the room clean, etc.

I stayed in room 303, the hotel was clean when I first went to check in. The lady behind the counter although having limited English was very polite (my fault for not learning Spanish) in a Spanish speaking country. The hotel room was clean and my bed was made every day for me. The only thing I have to mention which made it not a comfortable stay was the bed after a couple nights started to hurt my back as it was a very hard mattress and the pillows were okay. The other thing which confused me was when I took a shower for the first couple times it was cold because hot left cold right so, I had a couple cold showers.. not to bad being as Mexico is a hot and humid country but then after turning the dial to the right it went hot so bare that in mind. Also the breakfast is located in the illusion boutique hotel which is a 5 min walk at best however for a guy that likes to eat I'd say not the best portion size. But overall its a nice hotel if you are on a budget. Top tip: TAKE EAR PLUGS! Very noisy at night.

Great customer service and the room was very clean

Las fotos que publican se ven muy lindas comparado con la realidad, es sucio, tiene olor feo, los baños de las habitaciones no parece que los lavaran pues huelen a orines, la cama con un colchón super duro, el control remoto de la TV no funcionó, durante nuestra estadía no hubo agua ni para bañarse, mucho menos para beber, mucho ruido de taladro y música hasta altas horas de la noche, el administrador no gestiona ni resuelve y tiene una actitud pésima. No lo recomiendo.

El hotel está tranquilo y limpio, está céntrico y con fácil acceso. Algunas personas de la recepción son muy serias casi enojadas. Lo pensaría de regresar a este hotel con ese recibimiento. Las imágenes cuando uno busca hotel, te hacen ver cómo si estuviera a la orilla de la playa y están mintiendo porque no es así. El precio está muy bien, solo que si hay un incendio no tiene ventanas y es peligroso. El desayuno incluido es solo té con unos panes, no hay más. Para pasar una noche esta bien este hotel.

Le personnel est vraiment génial, très accueillant et très gentil. L'hôtel est propre. Le seul problème est que le vendredi soir, l'hôtel d'en face fait la fête et nous entendons la musique très fort dans les chambres. Si vous êtes une personne qui veut juste un endroit pour dormir et profiter du Mexique, c'est l'endroit idéal. Si vous voulez passer du temps à l'hôtel, ce n'est pas un hôtel pour vous.

When I arrived at the front desk the guy was using the computer, but didnt have a second to look up and greet me. He continued doing his thing for a minute or two then finally acknowledged me. To me, the first impression is super important so if it were me behind the desk I would have stopped for a second to greet the guest and tell them that I would be right with them. I would have been more than satisfied with that. It's those little gestures that make the difference. The room was small, but clean and decent looking. The bed and pillows were rather firm for my liking, but ok. I ended buying a pillow at Mega store for $15 which helped. Hotel only provided light sheets and no heavier bed cover which I found inadequate. Shower was plenty strong must say, however, there was no water on 2 separate days. Room came with a small fridge, but it only worked while you were in the room because you have to insert your room key into an electronic reader each time you enter your room which activates power. So you can't store food in it during the day when you are gone because it will go bad. That didn't make much sense. Like clockwork, a rooster next door would "cockldoodldoo" early every morning endlessly. Not to mention 2 lil dogs would bark all day and night pretty well everyday. Also, there is hostel across the street that hosts late night parties every couple of days so I recommend earplugs if you want to actually sleep. Ok, I get it, it's a party town. Won't return.

Hotel was clean, modern, and conveniently located, however, there’s a club Nextdoor which blasted loud disco music until 2 am.

Friendly and helpfull staff. The noise from the streets in the morning will make sleeping well an issue. The where dogs barking, rooster crows and cars honking. Not the hotels fault tho, but good to keep in mind. Location was perfect, close to everything.

Fue horrible experiencia el ruido que hace el compresor de aire acondicionado industrial que tienen dentro del hotel a un lado de las habitaciones. No se puede descansar además que el colchón es del estilo duro como cemento, la luz del baño no es independiente a la habitación así que si vas al baño se despierta la persona con quien vas

The Hotel itself is nice! Close to the fifth avenue and the beach, so location is amazing! The only bad part is that next door there is a club so the music is very loud until late and it’s hard to sleep. Otherwise, everything was great!

Pésimo servicio, no cumplen con lo que dicen . No alcanzamos desayuno , bueno vafe y oan que es lo unico que dan, nuestra tv no tenia señal

Mi primera impresion al llegar y antes de las 3 que es el chek in es que segun la habitacion que tenia estaba fallando el AC y que me iban a cambiar de hotel. Despes de un rato y al preguntar sobre la devolucion del pago x no querer el cambio a otro hotel ya fue que siempre si me podria quedar en el hotel "si queria", como que si queria?? Pues ahi reserve a donde mas me iba a ir!!. La unica forma de estacionarse es pagando aunque sea enfrente del hotel, ahi en la zona solo cuentan con parquimetros. El desayuno que esta incluido no es en el hotel es fuera en un restaurante, no me toco ir. Asi que no se la distacion y si es bueno.

Great customer service and the room was very clean

My mom and I loved this hotel! First and foremost the staff are so sweet, friendly, and helpful. The location is amazing, just within minutes walking distance of the beach, the bus stop, and so many dining and shopping locations. The hotel is clean, with breakfast included, a pool, beautiful rooftop views, and spacious rooms. Because of the location and proximity to other hotels, it did get noisy at night with the next door hotel having pool parties through the night. I was able to sleep through it, but I understand some people like it to be more quiet at night. The only drawbacks I experienced on my stay were the shower head and lack of a microwave. The shower head sprayed water everywhere else but on me. There is a refrigerator which was great to keep water cold overnight but no microwave to heat up leftovers. The hotel room is also controlled by the room key so the electricity only works when the key is inserted in the room. Therefore, if you’re out for extended amounts of time, everything in the refrigerator will get hot. The good outweighed my minor issues and I would 100% stay again and recommend it to my family and friends!

The staff was amazing, especially Edwin who took a lot of time to help us with our many questions and Ally who went out of his way to help when we had some issues. My wife and I checked in to BFH Hotel on Tuesday February 20. Our plan was to stay from the 20th - 23rd, however, we only stayed two nights, because on the second night, the guys across the hall from us were very loud and woke us up two nights in a row. They were yelling, cursing, fighting outside in the hall way in front of our door. This scared my wife, and wanted to leave that night at 1:00am. I told her that we would leave tomorrow morning. Although we had paid for three nights, we only stayed for two night, because we felt it was unsafe to stay at your hotel. Plus, there were no phones to call the front desk, and my wife did not feel safe for me to step out the front and leave her alone in the room. Furthermore, we requested two more pillows and a blanket, but were told you didn't have any extra pillows or blanket for us. We also asked for towels and were told we cold only get towels every two days. Finally,I reserved at your hotel, because your online website shows that you serve breakfast, yet there was not breakfast or coffee. On the day when day we checked out, the font desk guy said sorry we don't offer refunds. This is unfortunate! You hotel is nice but needs needs a lot of services for clients, such as towels daily, phones in the room, breakfast service as advertised extra pillows and at least one blanket on the bed to stay warm. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend you hotel and will share this information and review with Travelocity and social media,

No deben publicarse fotos a pie de playa con camastro si no existe y elevador no funciona y es nescesario, ya que mi mamá tiene 84 años, el desayuno incluido muy malo ya que solo era café y pan tostado, el cual no quise y pagué desayuno, pagué 4 noches, pero solo ocupamos una, ya que nos cambiamos de hotel al día siguiente, perdiendo 3 noches, y por este misma página de expedía compré en el hotel The Carmen que está apie de playa, ojalá y pudieran reembolsar las 3 noches que no ocupamos.ya que la información del hotel no coincide con las instalaciones.

This property was decent across the board. I will say that it was clean, and did have great views from the rooftop. Their pictures and description are very misleading. The beach is multiple blocks away. Easily a 15 min walk at least, thru very crowded areas. For restaurants and clubs, your only a couple blocks away. I definitely recommend parking on the rooftop parking garage, around the corner. Much cheaper than parking on the street and your car will be safe.

The Hotel itself is nice! Close to the fifth avenue and the beach, so location is amazing! The only bad part is that next door there is a club so the music is very loud until late and it’s hard to sleep. Otherwise, everything was great!

This was one of the best places i've ever stayed in Playa Del Carmen. It was a wonderful stay and in a great location.

Property was conveniently located close to beach and walking distance to tourist attractions.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was really good. Pancakes, bread, coffee and fruit. No noises from the street etc even though it was new years.

It was a nice hotel, could have used more hot water had to take cold showers half of the week. I also got a few drops of blood on a towel (pimple broke after showering and I didn’t noticed) and was charged 100 pesos for it. Also if you want a blanket you need to ask for one. We thought they only gave sheets and only found out the day before leaving we could ask for blankets, we did ask but seems the cleaning lady forget and therefore never got any. Staff and were friendly. The breakfast was included as indicated however it was about 2 blocks away in another building, please also know only coffee, tea, juice, toast and game are included anything else needs to be paid for.

For a budget hotel, I thought it was great. The safe was new and worked well, the shower was good, and the mini-fridge proved essential. It was an easy walk everywhere I needed to go. The best thing about it, though, was the included breakfast!! It's not at the hotel but at a restaurant just around the corner, and it was wonderful to start each day with a real Mexican breakfast - coffee and a rotating menu that was more than I expected.

El elevador no funciona, ponen medio papel de baño el agua está fría, hacen trabajos de reparación de madrugada, el desayuno es terrible son sándwich de atún o jamón pero súper delgado el jamón el pan duro y el queso terrible, son muy lentos incluso para entregar la habitación, la alberca está muy sucia y en el último piso y como no funciona el elevador ps es pecimo la alberca está muy chiquita, la llave de la habitación es solo una así q cuando la retiras se apaga el frigobar, de nada sirve, nunca hay internet, los televisores son marca Sansui, así q no permite descargar solo Netflix el YouTube no lo reproduce aparte del internet q se va y viene y es lento, las camas están muy sucias, y duras son incómodas, escuché varias personas quejándose de lo mismo, en pocas palabras una muy mala experiencia
