Tru By Hilton Flagstaff

I found Tru by Hilton in Flagstaff, AZ to be below par compared to other Hilton hotels. The size of the room is uncomfortable for 2 people; barely able to walk around bed. Not enough towels in bathroom. No maid service was provided when 'yawn' door sign was not displayed. It took 10 -15 minutes for water in shower to warm up. There was a loud clicking sound and a running water sound all night long. The room doors are extremely heavy and diffficult to open, especially for someone who has arthritis. The breakfast, while plentiful, was constantly cold and undercooked. Even the hot water and coffee provided was luke warm. There was no microwave to warm up coffee or food. Other guests were pigs and left a mess behind making it displeasing to eat breakfast in dining area. The kids constant screaming from playing fooseball also made it unenjoyable to eat in dining room. There is not enough handicap parking given the abundance of parking available. I witnessed many guests not picking up after their dog. I did not sleep well at all during my stay and it made my vacation unenjoyable because I was unrested and in discomfort. I also did not appreciate the $7/night parking fee which was not made obvious during booking. This was also extra discouraging when there was not enough handicap parking and I cannot walk far with my leg in a walking boot. I also did not appreciate a hotel guest using the garbage can by elevators as the place to throw their kids dirty diapers. How do you fix this?

The hotel was perfect :) the lady’s at the front were very nice . Check in was easy . We had a perfect view of the courtyard area . I chose this hotel in particular, mainly because it’s new but I also had to have surgery and I just wanted a space to just rest up , which I did just that . It is shared with another hotel but the wait wasn’t too long for the elevator. The breakfast area does get really busy as goes for the restaurant. We didn’t try the restaurant though . My bf loved the gym !!

This was the best Hotel Gym we have ever had! Clean, good equipment, good selection of weights (and none missing), shock absorbent floor.

It is a very nice and new hotel. Everyone was very professional. The gym was wonderful large and well equipped.

No jacuzzi, bathtubs, or sauna. No bathroom fans. Otherwise, not a bad spot. Maybe a bit overpriced.

The hotel was awesome! Loved the fire pits outside. Wished the bar was on the otherside of the hotel away from the kids screaming in the game room. But all in all I loved this place.

Customer service was great. Housekeeping needs to have attention to detail. There was hair in the shower from a previous guest. We stayed at another Tru location the night before and the same thing happened. It was disappointing.

Hotel was new and clean. The breakfast was an industrial type ie premade eggs, simple cheese omlete which is not to my liking, and probably worse than expected for this hotel

This is a new hotel with modern amenities. The room was very spacious and comfortable. beds were comfortable and TV was new and allowed me to plug in an external source to the HDMI port. They didn't have a box fan for me. We got to breakfast 1/2 hour before close and they were out of almost everything. One reason I booked this hotel was because of the great reviews on the breakfast. This was very disappointing.

Clean and cozy….only complaint was the neighbors were stomping around

Everything was excellent from friendly staff, great room, nice decor, only real problem was the building construction, it's cheap. You can hear dogs barking and vehicles starting up from closed window , noise from corridor rooms above and next door , had to call front desk as the people above us were loud banging and jumping on floor.

Rooms very clean, staff incredibly kind and friendly. The rooms are all Most too sparce but it was great having opne space. A small couch or chair would have been nice. Great stay!

The staff is friendly. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet however a bit small. As an Honors member, we always choose Hilton properties.

Door lock made a noise all night long. Highway noise. Rooms have no sound proofing.

Hot water in room 304. All else is amazing

The bed ana pillow were so comfortable. The shower was great! We stopped because we had been driving through snow and ice for 23 straight hours. It was just what we needed!!

The room was quiet and I appreciated having some streaming shows to watch. Breakfast was good although the staff wasn't prepared or able to keep up with the volume of guests.

I recognize this is a new hotel. It is very nice but still in the start-up phase. I am a Hilton Honors Gold member but was not recognized as such by the check-in staff. No courtesy water or snack as is typical. Rooms are great and comfortable, no complaints. Wifi is confusing to join as both hotels come up as selections. Bistro is also very good with friendly staff. Breakfast could have been good but was poorly managed and several food items had been fully consumed and not replenished. Pancake machine did not work. Ran out of eggs and bacon by 8 am. Staff was very sparse and had to be sought out and advised of the issues. One female employee in particular (older) was not at all friendly. In general, breakfast was a disappointment. At check-out, asked for complimentary water but none was available. Frt desk counter person did check the back room. To her credit, she allowed us to take 2 bottles from the purchase items area. Believe this location has some start-up issues to overcome.

Mattress was vad they did nothing. X Charged $7 per night parking. Its was open air parking. Staff told me i had 30 to give tgem auto license plate number. Rude. Will not stay at a Hilton property ever. Will go back to Marriott. Charles Kirkland

Level of quality at Tru by Hilton is outstanding. This was a very brief one-night stay, near to the airport, since our flight left early the next morning. Our experience was very good. Staff was attentive and assisted very graciously. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!

Top notch service, location, and superb customer service. As an sustainability nerd, I was impressed with the mugs at the coffee counter, but disappointed that the "to go" cups were wrapped in individual plastic - no need for that! And please consider expanding your recycling efforts beyond plastic bottles. A very enjoyable stay - thank you!

We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet even though it was located near the hiway. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds and lots of space. Our room was cleaned daily which was a plus. Breakfast was very good. The outside firepit was great. We enjoyed sitting around the fireplace. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. But it was so loud we didn't get any sleep we even checked out early. Plus, this came with breakfast but everything was empty!! Would not stay there again.
