An excellent hotel! 24/7 reception with really helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful rooms and common areas, including a rooftop, decorated with Mexican art and textiles. No breakfast but free coffee and pan dulce provided. Soft drinks and filtered water freely available and mezcal! Great location for exploring Roma Norte and Condesa.

Like other reviewers, agree this is just a gem of a hotel. After hectic and fun sightseeing days in MX City, it's a lovely oasis. I'd just keep in mind that the stairs to reach your room or rooftop are steep and there is no elevator, so not a good choice if you have any issues with stairs! Stayed for 5 nights and staff was always so pleasant and attentive.

We loved our 5-day stay here. Cute boutique hotel with world class hospitality. We were greeted with small souvenirs and even on the way out, they gave us a small gift. The rooms are modern and very clean, all the essentials you need for a hotel. Having access to unlimited soft drinks, liquor and coffee/tea was a huge perk. The location was perfect, walking distance to many food options. We would easily return here!

very cute boutique hotel! Staff was super nice during checkin and checkout. The staff gave me two gifts during my stay which I thought was a nice gesture for their guests. No breakfast at the property but walking distance to many cafes in the area. Safe area and the staff was able to hold my luggage after checkout which was a plus while I explored the city. I will return and checkout their first property in Oaxaca.

I have never stayed in a hotel where the stay is so friendly. They are truly delightful and helpful. It’s a charming boutique hotel with large, clean rooms. It is on the street with cafes so they do supply earplugs and a sound machine if it bothers you. The double pane windows blocked much of the noise and we didn’t need the earplugs or sound machine. They offer plenty of free water, coffee, tea, pan dulce, mezcal, candies, Gatorade, and coke. The hotel is in a trendy, walking, neighborhood with plenty of cafes, restaurants, and bars. One caveat: it is not handicapped friendly. You must be able to walk up stairs.

Overall great experience staying here! Room was large with a very nice bathroom. This is a great location and was perfect for exploring the neighborhood by foot. Staff are welcoming and service was prompt and friendly. Special bonus was the large rooftop for relaxing and soaking up the sun on a nice day!

NaNa Vida is wonderful! Lovely, bright hotel space with outdoor patio, 24/7 coffee and snacks, and welcoming atmosphere. Loved the showcasing of local CDMX artists in the rooms and around the hotel. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Water, beverages, pastries — even mezcal — are all included daily amenities. You walk out into the heart of Roma Norte. Would definitely come back!

Julian helped check us in and was so kind! He offered us goodies like bracelet, soap, and a dress/shirt that is traditional Mexican clothing. Our rooms were spacious and clean. They offered unlimited free waters and sodas as well. There are other rooms available such as a lounge area, courtyard, rooftop, and business center. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here and would come back again!

A very low-key hotel in a mostly quiet part of south Roma, with excellent walkability to all of Roma and slightly healthier walking to Hipódromo and Condesa. The hotel layout is compact and slightly quirky (in a 'I am so glad this isn't a bland chain' sort of way). Our room was spacious, even for four adults of which two were 18 & 19. Excellent bathroom w two sinks and a separate spacious room for a modern toilet and large walk-in shower. There is a very large, open air rooftop patio with good views so if you want to bring drinks, food or just have quiet time, it's very good. Be advised, there is NO elevator. And with the high ceilings, there are a good number of steps between floors.

A beautiful boutique hotel with many special touches, from the free gifts, snacks, and drinks from the staff to the locally-made artwork and handcrafted items featured in the rooms. The king bed room was spacious, comfortable, and had plenty of storage. The roof deck has a beautiful view of the skyline. The staff at NaNa Vida are the kindest - for example, while waiting for our Uber to the airport, the staff member manning the front desk came down to check on us to make sure we had safe transportation and offer to call us a new taxi if we needed. The location is also unbeatable - right in Roma Norte an easy walking distance to some of the best restaurants, cafes, bars, and parks in Mexico City. Two things to be aware of: one, the hotel is on the second floor and to get into the lobby you will need to ring the buzzer (it's the white switch below the Ring doorbell); the desk is manned 24/7. Two, sound from the restaurants and bars on the first floor of the hotel travels up to the room at night. The hotel provides a white noise machine and earplugs.

Nana Vida was an incredible stay. The rooms are spacious and the hospitality is amazing. We loved the small gifts and treats offered throughout the trip. The rooftop was the perfect place for pastries and cafe de olla. The rooms were clean and we appreciated the free water and drinks. A great place for families too. The staff is friendly and we would stay again when visiting CDMX.

Great location. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was huge—I loved it! Excellent service. Areas for improvement: The shower spray was a bit dispersed. It would be nice to have more hand and face towels. Also, the floor felt a little sticky. Overall, a great experience!

My finance and I really enjoyed our stay here! The staff was super nice and gave us a gift upon arrival and leaving. Our room was very quiet and spacious. Some negatives were we found hair on our comforter and the water stopped working for about an hour. Other than that nothing to complain about.

This is a great hotel in an excellent location in Mexico City. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. It's a fairly short walk towards Parque Mexico and there are loads of great bars and restaurants in the area. The area felt very safe and the hotel is really secure. A special shout out goes to the staff who were brilliant, so welcoming and helpful.

It was an absolute joy to stay at Nana Vida hotel. Friendly, beautiful and artistic rooms, and spotless. The showers were fantastic and the rooms are spacious. It’s in a wonderful location and we could walk to any cafes or restaurants we wanted. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Thank you NaNa Vida for making our stay comfortable and safe. Love the fact that the building is secure, you have to ring the bell to get in. The rooms were beautiful and spotless, the sitting areas were lovely, sorry we didn't get to enjoy the rooftop due to rain, would have been fun. They even had umbrellas for us to borrow. Great location, lots of restaurants and bars walking distance. Alex was wonderful , we could chat for hours LOL .. the whole staff was great. Till next time for sure :)

Our stay at Nana Vida was incredible. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms are cute and comfortable, with air conditioning (huge plus in the summer) and it is in a nice location close to shops, restaurants, etc. I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely come back.

NaNa Vida was pure bliss! The rooms were spacious, stylish, and spotless. We loved the 24/7 coffee and pastry bar, the Mexican candy stash, and the free mezcal! But wait, there's more! Free water, soda, and Gatorade were lifesavers. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the welcome and departure gifts were such a sweet touch. The location was perfect - safe and central. Basically, NaNa Vida turned our first trip to Mexico into an unforgettable adventure. We can't wait to come back!

Great location, very hospitable staff, free bread and drinks (water, tea, coffee, Gatorade, Coke), Mezcal tasting bar, nice rooftop, surprise goodbye gifts upon check out! Only con is the layout of the specific room we booked (the cheapest one)— we had no windows and the only outlets were on the other side of the room from the bed which was inconvenient. But definitely not a dealbreaker, and we would 100% stay again!

We had an absolutely phenomenal stay at NaNa Vida. It was our first time visiting the city, and we wanted to stay in Roma Norte- NaNa Vida was perfectly located. We had easy access to fantastic food and drink, transportation, and many clubs and dancing venues. My friend and I booked the Deluxe Double, and we really felt like we lived a life of luxury- the room was HUGE, spotlessly clean, and elegantly decorated. The double-paned windows are helpful for noise, though you should be aware that you are definitely in the middle of the city and it\'s an old building, so it\'s not the quietest. Complimentary earplugs were available, but super-light sleepers might still find it challenging. My friend and I slept just fine, though, and the beds were so comfortable! NaNa Vida really shines though with their service- everyone who works there is so friendly and welcoming. One of them told me they want you to feel like you are surrounded by friends- and it\'s very successful! Special shout-out to Guillermo "Memo," one of the managers, who goes out of his way to make sure you are having a great stay in the city. My friend and I are now checking out other NaNa Vida properties in Mexico for our next trip!

A very low-key hotel in a mostly quiet part of south Roma, with excellent walkability to all of Roma and slightly healthier walking to Hipódromo and Condesa. The hotel layout is compact and slightly quirky (in a 'I am so glad this isn't a bland chain' sort of way). Our room was spacious, even for four adults of which two were 18 & 19. Excellent bathroom w two sinks and a separate spacious room for a modern toilet and large walk-in shower. There is a very large, open air rooftop patio with good views so if you want to bring drinks, food or just have quiet time, it's very good. Be advised, there is NO elevator. And with the high ceilings, there are a good number of steps between floors.

10/10 for the incredibly friendly, helpful and considerate staff. Everyone working at this property was so lovely! The hotel itself is in a beautiful older building in a wonderful location in Roma, with great cafes, bars and restaurants in all directions and a park a block away. The hotel had lovely touches like a yoga room, complimentary mezcal and candy, and a cute interior courtyard and large rooftop space to hang out on. The rooms are very spacious and clean, and have nice touches like local artwork and lamps made from regional products. We worked while here and the wifi was great, even with video calls. The only complaint we had is that you can hear people walking in the hotel hallway or taking the stairs in the hotel. Since it’s a smaller hotel there aren’t constantly people moving about so it may not bother some guests at all, but we were a bit sensitive to that. Also, rooms facing the street may hear sounds of the city ie fire trucks, kids playing in the street etc. The windows are double glazed but that’s what you get for being in the city center :) Overall we had a wonderful stay and definitely recommend this property!

Nanavida is a solid option in the heart of Roma Norte where (a lot of!) the action is. The staff are excellent and cannot do enough to help (e.g. asking without fail if we wanted a drink every time we stepped into the hotel). The generous check in and check out gifts to all guests are much appreciated, plus mezcal, non-alcoholic beverages and local snacks at no extra cost don't hurt either. Whilst the hotel does not offer breakfast as such, there is a coffee, milk and pastries section which guests can access anytime. Our room did have a couple of minor oddities (eg no bedside table or charging point + the (large) TV set at a curious viewing angle vis-a-vis the bed) and there was a glitch in our room on the first morning (which the staff addressed by offering a generous discount on the room rate for the first night), but those were more than adequately compensated by the quality of service. I would definitely consider Nanavida for a repeat stay when I find myself in CDMX once again.

We had a fabulous stay at NaNa Vida, from the moment they opened the door and welcomed us with Mezcal and gifts, to everything in between! Perfect little coffee/tea set up in the mornings, rooftop to enjoy the view, and exceptional service. We're particularly grateful to Julian who was always so helpful and kind. I even received a bouquet of flowers Mezcal on my Valentine-Birthday. We'll definitely stay here on our next visit to CDMX!

The staff are exceptional. Gifts of soaps and coffee with the reservation. I am a Diamond Hilton member and all I get is two lousy bottles of water. We made the mistake of staying in a Hilton here as well and should have just stayed here for the week. The staff are so friendly.

First time in CDMX and happy to have stayed at NaNa Vida. Lorenzo and the other staff members were very attentive to our needs, helped with recommendations, and overall made us feel like valued guests. Location is excellent, nestled into the Roma Norte neighborhood, which is dense with restaurants, cafes, bars and is very walkable. Ubers to almost any other part of town are usually less than $10 USD. Facilities are new and well maintained as the location opened within the last year. Rooms are spacious and uniquely decorated with local art.

First, I just need to say thank you to the entire staff for making my stay at Nana Vida so enjoyable. I am not keen on reviewing my stays unless it was memorable, this one was. As you as you enter you are greeted warmly with a gift and a full description of the amenities with a tour. There is a free mezcal bar, beautiful roof top, other rooms for business or hanging out. The curated art from local artists made the decor very unique. The room was huge, with a beautiful balcony full of lush greenery. Every time I would come back to the hotel throughout my stay I was greeted by name and offered a beverage, same service when I had a friend come over. The staff was very attentive and made sure my stay was perfect. Upon my departure same level of customer service with a cute little parting gift. All in all I highly recommend anyone to stay at Nana Vida, you will have the best time in the beautiful Roma Norte.

I can’t recommend this hotel enough! The location is awesome with great restaurants and parks nearby and close to so many things. The hotel is very clean and thoughtfully organized. The rooms and the beds are amazing, but above all the staff are what really make this place great! Lorenzo, Michelle, and all the other staff (don’t know their names) are so kind and attentive to your needs. They alway offer you drinks or ask if you need when you are coming or going, and are really just kind and caring people that make you feel at home. In a city as big and sometimes chaotic as CDMX, NanaVida is a sanctuary of calm and cleanliness to have as a base. Other highlights include unlimited coffee, tea and snacks, a welcome gift, an amazing courtyard and rooftop patio. You will not regret staying here! I wish I could live at this hotel :)

This is a great hotel in an excellent location in Mexico City. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. It's a fairly short walk towards Parque Mexico and there are loads of great bars and restaurants in the area. The area felt very safe and the hotel is really secure. A special shout out goes to the staff who were brilliant, so welcoming and helpful.

Visited CDMX this past weekend with my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and couldn't have stayed at a more lovely hotel! The location is perfect — what a fun, safe, and beautiful part of the city with numerous parks, restaurants, nightlife, and shopping all around. It almost feels like a B&B, with an extremely nice and attentive staff that offers complimentary mezcal (!), a coffee/snack bar, and check-in & check-out gifts. After learning we were celebrating our anniversary, they even surprised us with a thoughtful surprise, which made our stay extra memorable. The room was nicely sized and well appointed, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. We'll be back!

This is a friendly, comfortable hotel with very helpful staff. The hotel is located in one of the best parts of Mexico City for visitors. There are lots of good restaurants and bars nearby and it felt very safe. One thing for first time visitors is that the only sign for the hotel is a small one by the doorbell. As long as you know the address, you’ll be fine.

This place is amazing. The staff is great. They make you feel at home and special. You are greeted with drinks and a smile!! What else do you need. The bed is comfy and the rooms are spacious. They pay attention to detail and it shows. They even have a candy bar!!! I will definitely stay here again. The location is great, near lots of cool and trendy restaurants.

Beautiful building, it used to be apartments. It is completely redone with lovely hand crafted doors, furniture and large modern bathrooms. There are little bars, cantinas, restaurants, parks, shops all around the area. Lots of people out enjoying the city. It's a beautiful area and we felt totally safe at all times. The building had previously housed several apartments and has been restructured into a dozen or so hotel rooms. It is very clean and modern. The reception area upstairs has someone on duty 24 hours a day. The staff is amazingly helpful and friendly. We can't say enough about them. The building can be a little noisy at night due to the several little bars directly below on the sidewalk, all of which add tremendously to the ambience and atmosphere of the area. Charming, funky hotel in the perfect location in CDMX. We felt very welcome, and it was easy to get by with very little spanish. I would book this hotel if you plan on enjoying the local nightlife. This is a great hotel in an excellent location in Mexico City. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. It's a fairly short walk towards Parque Mexico and there are loads of great bars and restaurants in the area. The area felt very safe and the hotel is really secure. A special shout out goes to the staff who were brilliant, so welcoming and helpful.

Great location. The staff was very warm and friendly. They greeted me with mezcal and artisan soap. The hotel was hip and fit with the neighborhood. The only downside was that it was a little loud at night because of the bar outside. They provide earplugs for your stay.

very cute boutique hotel! Staff was super nice during checkin and checkout. The staff gave me two gifts during my stay which I thought was a nice gesture for their guests. No breakfast at the property but walking distance to many cafes in the area. Safe area and the staff was able to hold my luggage after checkout which was a plus while I explored the city. I will return and checkout their first property in Oaxaca.

The staff is very welcoming, attentive and strive to make your stay pleasant. The hotel is beautifully appointed with art work and furnishings from Mexican artists. We particularly liked the check in and picking out artisanal soap and sipping on mezcal. There are many charming dining options in the neighborhood and a nice park nearby where you can spot a lot of cute dogs. The rooms facing the street can be loud in the evenings on the weekends from a small restaurant that has a DJ.

Beautiful building, it used to be apartments. It is completely redone with lovely hand crafted doors, furniture and large modern bathrooms. There are still touches that show the age, the doors, stairs and arched ceilings. Location is wonderful, lovely restaurants within walking distance as well as parks and more

Had a great 4 night stay here!! The staff were excellent and room was perfect. From the moment you check in, they offer you free locally produced soap, Gatorade or water, and free mezcal. There’s legit two mezcal bottles available for you to enjoy anytime. The rooftop terrace is really cool. The location is perfect, so many cafes, restaurants, and shops near by. Definitely recommend staying here.
