Hampton Inn & Suites Saraland Mobile

Helpful, friendly staff. We always stay coming and going on our Christmas driving trip each year. Great for travelers with dogs ( although I don’t appreciate them much in the dining area) Couple more luggage carts would be helpful. fwt

Nice hotel. The elevator floor was under repair which caused a small trip but I should have paid better attention. Overall it was fine.

The staff was great, but my room was dirty. Shower had mildew. Pictures missing on the walls, mildew smell.

The hotel is conveniently located near highway, restaurants and shops. Excellent location and very friendly staff. Breakfast was very good. Two hiccups though. First, is that you can hear the traffic noise which we fell asleep to. Next time we’ll ask for a quieter room. The second is that the shower door and shower had mold and mildew. Even with the hiccups, we would stay again.

Rooms dirty with stained carpet. Dated room. Towels were thin and rough. Nobody at front desk when we arrived - she was outside!

First room we were given had actual mold growing on the wall and on the lampshades. The front desk employee was great and switched out the room quickly. Breakfast was fantastic and lgood amount of choices. The cute chalk signs by the foods were a cute touch.

Everyone was incredibly friendly. Super clean, spacious rooms.

Positives: The reception staff were genuinely warm and extremely friendly. What a great impression they give to this hotel! The breakfast staff were also very friendly, hard-working, and assisted customers with making waffles and keeping the entire area very tidy and fully stocked. Generous and diverse complementary breakfast selection - certainly the best I've had since COVID. My room had an elegant design and all the furniture was in excellent condition. Great AC, set temps verified with thermometer. Bed and pillows were comfortable and clean. Negatives: Surfaces were not wiped down (food and other marks on side tables, desk, TV area, luggage area, beside toilet on wallpaper (yuck). With some of the shampoo and a washcloth, they all cleaned up...these weren't permanent marks or anything, just dirt and body waste. Shower had a bit of mold in corners and edges and dirt on the front porcelain from a dirty floor mop. Some hair on the bathroom floor and clump of hair and other small amounts of sanitary waste in the bathroom trashcan. Limited number of towels, some worn and stained. No plastic cups for drinking water or toothbrushing, only styrofoam coffee cups with the coffee maker. Stains on the carpet need to be cleaned. The internet didn't work within the room (I was on the fourth floor), so I had to go out into the hall to use it. It was only for one night, so none of this was a tragedy. But if I was booking a conference, it would probably be an issue.

The bathroom was not clean. Hair everywhere on the floor in the shower. Dirty sheets on the bed.

Staff was super friendly and check it was a breeze. If I was just rating the staff, 5 stars all day long. The room was just ok. It had a funny chemical smell and felt damp. Not a South Alabama humidity damp, but the room felt swamp, even with the AC cranked. We only found 3 channels on the tv that you could actually watch. We only stayed one night, so wasn’t worth the hassle of asking for a different room. I’m sure that wouldn’t have been an issue, had we asked.

Great front desk. Offered us bottle water. Super clean and low traffic noise. No coffee cups in the room, and mattress was I bit uncomfortable worn out.

The hotel was extremely friendly and immaculately clean. My room was beautiful. The only shortfall I found was that not all of the outlets worked on the left side of the bed. That was a minor problem and I had plenty of other outlets to use.

The king suite was very nice and very clean

Very easy check in. Desk clerk offered me water and cookies at check in. Very friendly and helpful clerk. It was great to be greeted by a friendly clerk after a long day of driving. We will definitely stay here again.

The general manager helped us and guided us through a little hiccup with the check in. We got top notch customer service and they were very accommodating of our children.

I booked on hotels.com and there were some local internet issues that resulted in problems with processing my reservation and also my personal credit card for payment. The staff decided to check me in anyway and trusted all would be sorted out in the morning. They were absolutely awesome handling the situation and I was so grateful having driven 13 hours that day.

I booked a room and drove to the hotel only to find that there was no room available. I had a confirmation number that said no need to call and confirm availability. Complete garbage...

I called the property at 8:30 to inform them i would be arriving around 12:30am. They assured me they had my room available . When i arrived not only did they not have two queens they didnt have anything.

Receptionist at front desk was excellent. All the support staff displayed great attitude. Costumer service goes a long way. Especially now a days when no one seems to care.

I have recommended this hotel to several people coming into town. I booked it a few times for a new coworker coming to stay for work. I haven't had any complaints! It's in a good location - close to lots of restaurants and some shopping.

This was the perfect overnight stay before our cruise from the Port of Mobile. The hot breakfast was delicious! The people at the front desk were very helpful and courteous.

Bad just really bad. First room had pee in the bed thought it was cool or wet from being laundered but nope it was pee. They moved us to another room where the pull out couch mattress had stains and no bedding. Went to front desk to get bedding and didn’t get pillows. Out of coffee by 8am on a weekend.

The room was clean, the breakfast was good, and the water pressure was great! The bed was comfortable and the price was pretty good. The price could be better, but compared to the other hotels in the area, the price is right for the accommodations. All the others are either cheaper but with lower quality or a bit more for the same quality. We have a college student in the area, so we have tried most of the hotels in the area.
