This is a great place! They were having a celebration for the Coronation when we arrived and it looked like a lot of fun. We were too tired to come down, but we would have otherwise! The room was clean and everything we needed for our last night in Scotland. The pizza shop and Stacks across the street have really good food, and the Asda is a short walk.

I am cautious of staying in pubs because of the risk of noise, but there was no problem with this one. The room was clean well maintained, there are fast food outlets nearby Blantyre station is a 10 min walk and it was reasonably priced. I don't know if the pub does food as I didn't use it, there is no breakfast, but as I was away before 08.00 it didn't matter to me. Would use again

The usb plug charger does not work. Someone from the bar downstairs gave me the key and left, then I had to go around and ask the neighborhood shops how to lock/unlock the door. (It was tricky) I found a plastic cover over the mattress underneath the sheets, not sure what happened there. Other than that it was overally ok considering the price of 50 pound per night. People around the neighborhood are friendly.

This was a very pleasant place to break a long journey. Large room with comfortable beds and a nice shower. Right in the town centre, with several takeaways and other places to eat within a couple of minutes walk. Free parking just outside.

You get what you pay for. The apartment itself, while small, is great for the price. It was clean and appeared to be somewhat newly renovated. Parking is fairly easy to access and is free. It is unusual (at least for me) to have to check in and out at a pub, but everyone was friendly. Major drawback is that you can hear noise and feel vibrations from the pub (directly beneath you), particularly music, until it closes (which was about midnight the weekend night we were there). The area is nothing to be excited about--some dining options, but nothing great--though it is right by a train station that can get you into downtown Glasgow in about a half hour.

My son and I stayed at the Stonefield Rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful; the room was spotless, as was the bathroom. They supplied the basics: kettle, coffee, tea, etc., plus liquid soap. I definitely recommend staying here; it is close to transport—the bus stop is just downstairs. The Livingston Museum is a 10-minute walk away. The price is very reasonable.

We booked this as a cheap room during our driving holiday & it got the job done but was really unpleasant. Our room had wet toilet paper on the walls and ceiling. Terrible smell. The floor was very dirty & there was a basket of dirty washing in the corner of the room.

We had an issue at check in that the bar maid took care of for us. The room has been redone and was clean. Worth the stay. Locals are friendly and I’m glad I got to meet them! Debbie was amazing.

There was no staff when I arrived and the bedbead had visible stains on it. The room smelt of damp and mattress was very uncomfortable. It was very noisy and smelt of exhaust as the room overlooked busy road.

I really liked the place and the service was great! The room is spacious and clean. If you do want to go to Glasgow city more with only public transit, it's a bit far away but if you have a car that doesnt matter as much.

The staff was wonderful and welcoming! They were so kind and welcoming, and made our trip feel special. They gave us recommendations of things to do and see, and gave us directions on how to get there. Absolutely wonderful, and I would love to stay there again.

Price was reasonable, landlady was pleasant and helpful but would not recommend for friends or family. This is mainly because of the location. We didn’t feel safe to go out and explore. We are a well traveled couple, so take from this what you wish.

This is a great place! They were having a celebration for the Coronation when we arrived and it looked like a lot of fun. We were too tired to come down, but we would have otherwise! The room was clean and everything we needed for our last night in Scotland. The pizza shop and Stacks across the street have really good food, and the Asda is a short walk.

I am cautious of staying in pubs because of the risk of noise, but there was no problem with this one. The room was clean well maintained, there are fast food outlets nearby Blantyre station is a 10 min walk and it was reasonably priced. I don't know if the pub does food as I didn't use it, there is no breakfast, but as I was away before 08.00 it didn't matter to me. Would use again

This was a very pleasant place to break a long journey. Large room with comfortable beds and a nice shower. Right in the town centre, with several takeaways and other places to eat within a couple of minutes walk. Free parking just outside.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff in the pub downstairs were so friendly and welcoming. Great atmosphere in the pub. The room was clean and warm and had everything we needed. We will definitely be going back.

We have stayed here previously and felt the rooms could have been cleaner. It wasnt like this previously.Also we asked for later check out and were given until 12 by owner over the phone which was great but staff chapping the door asking us to leave at 11:30.
